Bricklist notes: This is the very first set I was briefed with after joining the Design organisation and the DISNEY team. The brief was to come up with a fun and colourful playset based on DISNEYs Encanto with Mirabelle and Antonio as the central characters. My idea was that Antonio took over an abandoned garden shed to create an animal sanctuary. I took inspiration from the movie and the previous sets. My greatest joy was to have a capybara in the set, but also - for the first time - a jaguar. I managed to populate the tree and house with another 6 additional animals (to deserve the rightful name 'animal sanctuary'. What an experience this was!

Bricklist notes: Moana's Flowerpot was the second set I worked on. I got Isabelle's Flowerpot as inspiration and had a lot of fun adapting the structure to Moana. I was also able to come up with a different building technique for the pot. For this brief I got a lot of help and support from Ryan and Marcos, my mentor for the first year. I'm proud to have contributed to Disney and our Botanical portfolio.

Bricklist notes: In early 2024 my newest assignment was to turn a concept model by Maria Bjerk Eskesen into a product. To fit the brief and the age mark I had to make some modifications from the original model. But it was so much fun to dive deep into Disneys Cinderella story. Two of my favorite design choices were Lucifers plan to how to catch Gus - beautifully designed by Camilla - and bricks I used in the carriage: orange and green SNOT bricks for the inside structure - the colors that also represent the pumpkins in this set - indicating that the vehicle might have originated from a pumkin.
Another nice fun fact is the SKU number: 43275 - since 2025 celebrates Disneys Cinderellas 75 anniversary.

Bricklist notes: My first polybag - Cinderella themed. I developed this at the same time as 43275 Cinderella's Castle & Horse Carriage, but handed in the final result months before the castle.
The general idea was to bring a princess, a pet, a fun function and a castle together in 52 pieces. The story here is basically that Cinderella is doing some gardening - watering the pumpkin field - but she's so in her thoughts about Prince Charming that she floods the field which causes Gus' cheese to float away.

Bricklist notes: Already in August 2023 I started on a concept model for a new mixed Princess castle, as successor to the Ultimate Adventure Castle (43205). I made a few concept models - all of them in white bricks - to get the shape and overall concept right. I ended up using specific architectural elements connected to each Princess story and mixed them. After that I decided on the colour which tied the different parts of the castle together. I enjoyed to deal with five different Princesses and their pets/sidekicks. The burden to rewatch all those movies! :-)
To not make it too easy this model was also modular and part of BUILD TOGETHER, a program to allow families to build sets via an app step by step together - check it out, it adds a lot to the building experience!
My favorite part is the beach scene that happens when you close the two wings. Now the flower decoration of the entrance hall turn into delicious mocktails with a little umbrella.
And you'll find a brand new character here that has never done before: Mushu from Mulan. My colleague Pia did an amazing job on designing this element. As did Camilla on all the graphics. Don't miss the scavenger hunt to collect those diamonds and store them in Ariels underwater treasure chest.

Bricklist notes: This set is dear to my heart. In late 2023 I got asked to make a rough concept model of this brief. But I got lost in detail and it was practically ready to go to an adults test - where it tested so well that it got chosen to be a product. Since I was in the middle of other projects, my esteemed colleague Ryan van Woerkom took over and turned it into the magnificent set it is today. Luckily he did involve me in the process, so I can pride myself to have contributed to the Beauty And The Beast Castle.

Bricklist notes: I had the great pleasure to mature an amazing concept model by Christophe Vietti into this 9+ set. It was my first character build ever, so I was very grateful of Marcos Bessas, a master of character builds, supporting my first steps. After analyzing the concept model thoroughly I had a good idea of the final shape and could start redesigning the whole structure. The brief was to bring it to the age mark and the price point, add Bruni and accessories - I mean, why not? :-) The design team worked very closely to make this happen: graphic design (Camilla), Model governance (Helle), building instruction, Creative Lead (Benedicte) and so many more.
I'm proud to be part of the FROZEN team and bring this quirky and iconic character, voiced by Josh Gad, to life.
