Massively disappointed with the UK sale... nowhere near as good as the US for products and discounts :(

The only thing I want that's on sale is the Star Wars Christmas Diorama. No where near enough to qualify for any GWP. Everything else that's on sale I already have, is on sale elsewhere for less money or I'm just not interested in. Can't justify spending $300 on a second copy of Lion Knight's Castle.

I got stuff cheaper other places sad..at least I got vip points target,

I was pleasantly surprised that the Majisto set came with a yellow wand rather than a neon green one. Hopefully they’ll appear in a few more sets going forwards; they could be a reasonable standin for Rey’s light saber if we don’t get a proper one.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned that you can get up to three $5 Insiders discounts for 75% off. So I got $15 off for 485 points.

It’s currently backordered in the US (which is fine since I wouldn’t be building it right away anyway), but remember to order literally ANYTHING in stock with it so that they’ll send the GWP items. Even a cheap keychain or something. If you only order a backordered item, the GWP will likely be out of stock by the time the backordered set ships."

Is that for real? I’ve had them send GWP sets on their own before. Would they really not send them at all even though they’re shown on the order confirmation?

MY experience is: you get the GWP alone right away. The backorder, PaB, etc stuff arrive later.

I’ve only gotten the GWP shipped separately when the “main” order is a big set which is the same size as the shipping box so there is no room for GWP in that box. For example, they are shipping my VIP weekend order , the new museum, separate from the worship and Winter Village stall.

I've had it happen both ways. Usually, these days, they ship the GWP separately from the backordered items- especially if there is more than one GWP or other item to be shipped.

Yet, I've also had the experience when the GWP is out before they can ship it to you. They will reimburse you the value of the set in points if you call and complain.

I was able to get my code for the mini castle at about 06:45 EST this morning. I figured it was going to sell out fast and I hate to think what the aftermarket price is going to be on that little sucker, or at least the 4 castle microfigs that it shows with it!

Made enough large orders early this morning to open up a Majisto emporium.

Majisto seems to be sold out in the U.S. Lucky for me I got one during Insiders Weekend and already own two of the original. A second would have been nice but couldn't find enough to meet the threshold last night since I already own Lion Knight's Castle. Also waiting to see if we do actually get a new Fleece Blanket offer on Monday when I might then be tempted to order one of the larger sets still on my wishlist.

Any rumors as to when Lion Knight's Castle will retire? I can’t swing it this year but it’s very tempting.

According to Brick Fanatics, 10305 will retire in 2025. Those things are always subject to revision but I think you'll have enough time to secure one. I'm in the same boat as you. CAD$375 is tempting but I spent so much already...

I remember when I ordered 21309 when there was a promo where you got 5004915 with any order. They even sent an email saying something along the lines of, "The box will say "Lego" on it, so if this is a gift, look out for that." Then that box was in another box so they could ship 5004915 with it.

If it’s a standard rebate code that you can get year round, they do stack regardless of denomination. LEGO Stores can even pull them up on their checkout devices. If they’re the special $5 codes, I don’t know how they work in stores.

It's a maximum of three per insider account. Unfortunately it doesn't reset each day like the 1000000 point sweepstakes one does. I think in previous years we were able to get two each of a couple of different of the smaller denomination rewards. One year I think it was one each day of each denomination they offered the deal on.

Gotcha. So I can get 3 of the 75% ones & 3 regular priced $5…and still come out ahead since I planned on getting a $100 & $20 one.

@PurpleDave: I don't have a code for the tape deck yet anyway, as I get codes (whether for discounts or reward items) in the same browsing session I place the order in.
