Three highly desirable 18+ sets have been released today at LEGO.com, in time for the festive period. One of them in particular will make a great gift.

Here's what's now available:

  • The latest LEGO Ideas set, 21344 The Orient Express Train (£259.99 / $299.99 / €299.99)
  • The largest modular building, 10326 Natural History Museum, available before Christmas this year for a change (£259.99 / $299.99 / €299.99)
  • The cute and colourful 10329 Tiny Plants, an ideal Christmas gift for the green-fingered member of your family (£44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99)

Additionally, and most surprisingly, both of the recently revealed seasonal gifts with purchase are available concurrently from today until the 14th of December:

  • 40603 Wintertime Carriage Ride is free with purchases over £130 / $150 / €150
  • 40604 Christmas Decor Set is free when you spend over £65 / $70 / €70

What about the VIP parts pack? Wasn't there another one due out very soon?

By in United Kingdom,

Much as I'd love to have got 21344 and/or 10326 I want more than £130 threshold GWPs with them, so they can wait.

So it's just the Tiny Plants and a few other wishlist tidy-ups for me for the Wintertime Carriage Ride plus a couple of Christmas Decor Sets.

40603 could be a hit a the shop when sold. There a wonderful GWP s that would make nice sets for shops.

Wake me up when they release a new batch of the Orient Express train with fixed prints and without bent track pieces...

Website falling over again. Couldn't browse. Lego need to sort this out, but three years on and nothing has changed.

That extra 10-15% price in CHF every time… it’s just ridiculous.

By in United Kingdom,

I was shocked when I got an email this morning stating the threshold to be 230 for the carriage. Having spent enough on Black Friday to get the various GWP the idea of spending the same again didn't sit well. What I hadn't noticed was the email had a $ not a £. Thankfully this article has alerted me to the mistake in the email (Aus price not UK) so I have just gone on and bought this years Winter Village set and another to get the carriage. Had no issues with website, everything went smoothly, Lego do seem to be getting better.

My museum arrived last week, it's a great set. $70 is lower than I feared for the GWP I want, should be able to grab it at my local store Sunday I hope

Isn't there a GWP tie-in coming for the Museum? Or is that happening after the New Year?

Probably - I'll be waiting for that one to show up before pulling the trigger.

I purchased the Museum early and got the Galileo set and the Xmas VIP bag. The Museum did arrive early by about 5 days and the outside of the shipping box said do not put on shelf until December 1.
