Star Wars in-store build instructions

Posted by ,

Various shops, including Smyths and LEGO brand stores, have today held in-store building events featuring small Star Wars models.

Thanks to Robert S and Robert S (yes, two of them) for sending us the instructions from which you can build them from your own pieces.

The models are:

You'll find them under the 'images' tab, not the 'instructions' one, just to confuse you...

By in New Zealand,

I'll just stick to my copy of the polybag X-wing thanks.

X-wing and Yoda have pdf version, available to download from QR code provided in Smyths stores.

By in United States,

I got the first Yoda, the first Leia, and the first Vader from my store, but none of them really had much turnout. I heard about an X-Wing, but it's not being offered here. The closest match appears to be this one:

https://brickset.com/sets/XWING-1/Mini-X-wing-Fighter

The only differences I see are the color of the windshield and the R2 unit, as well as a change in bracket used at the rear that causes a few other minor part/color changes.

By in Germany,

@PurpleDave Yes, it's pretty similar but different enough.

I guess 6525757 is the actual set number for the Jedi trio and the numbers written on the individual instruction leaflets are just the Lego ID numbers for the instructions themselves. But it's the same story with the yellow boxed GWP's.

The character trio is a really weird situation. Each of the instructions sheets includes a number and a piece count, but the back of the Yoda instructions shows all three with a fourth number and a combined piece count. It's almost like those old value packs, except there's no packaging to tie everything together.

Yes, that's where these came from.

Yes, so Huw should add to 6525757 the note "contains: 6250658, 6528899, 6528900" so the pieces are not counted twice in our collections.

Some had the TIE/in, others the AAT, while others offered the 25 years key chain over a certain threshold.

The what’s that? There’s a keychain? Where’s a keychain? What’s it look like? Is it sold here? Probably not.

By in United States,

Square head, no face Yoda is downright hilarious

By in United States,

My store had Vader. Dang. I could have gone for that X-Wing.

By in Slovenia,

Toys R US had Naboo fighter 45pcs and Millennium falcon 20pcs. Seen some posts about C3PO too.

By in United Kingdom,

Interestingly, in the Lego Store in Bristol, the instruction set for the Yoda buildable is noted in the bottom right corner as number 6528898, but other than that the instruction sheet is EXACTLY the same as here on for set no. 6250658.

More interestingly, on the reverse of the instruction sheet for the Yoda buildable it shows the Darth Vader, Princess Leia, and Yoda buildables as set no. 6525757, exactly as listed here on Brickset.com - i.e if you look in the bottom right corner of the intruction set for no. 6525757 here on bricket it says it is set no. 6528898.

Weird!

By in United Kingdom,

I reckon that mini X-Wing is the best version at that scale by far, better than 30645 imo

Indeed, 30645 _is_ a very poor representation of an X-Wing.

:D
What a mistake to make. I meant 30654.
30645 is an awesome model

Ah, yes, that’s a different matter, then. I have a spare of this version, which I plan to tinker with. I want to beef up the fuselage, and lengthen the guns, and then see where it stands.
