Disney Advent Calendar - Day 11

Posted by ,

Having finally rid "Let It Go" from autoplay in my head, yesterday's snowgie was having a lot of fun on the teeter totter! It's been two days of Frozen, so will we have a third?

Of course! It seems that every princess is going to have her castle in this calendar, and here we have Elsa's. I really like all the translucent blue pieces that are incorporated in this minibuild. The designers are doing a good job of capturing the essence of these buildings with just a handful of bricks.

By in Netherlands,

Good choice of parts on this model. Again, the arch is huge, but I guess it's super deformed and that feature will be exaggerated with all castles.

Overall there's not much I can even find fault with here. A thumbs up from me!

So if you leave the snowgie loose on the see-saw instead of attached to the stud, you could make a game of trying to launch him through the arch on this castle model?

Nexo Knights may be long gone, but the Shield mould lives on.

By in Australia,

I was so hoping for a micro-scale version of Elsa's ice palace, and this did not disappoint me. I thought it was really lovely. I love the spires and sharp lines, it really looks like a tiny version of an ice castle.

For those keeping track, that's two castles so far, with more promised.

The way has been prepared. His triumphant arch is made ready.

The spear tip too!

In other sets the helmets are also still around :)
Oh, and that one slope with rocky texture now often used as fur.

I didn't realize that that diamond-shaped piece from Elves was still around. Nice to see it.

And people keep complaining that there aren’t enough Castle sets…
