Friends Advent Calendar - Day 10

Posted by ,

We've met the Friends, and we've met the pets, thanks to seeing Gertrude behind yesterday's door. If we follow on alternating indoor/outdoor activities, I think we can expect to see something focused on outside activities today.

This looks like a lot of fun! Today there's a snow catapult, complete with plenty of ammunition. A slight bonus is that the blue and yellow colours seem somewhat like City colours, as opposed to Friends colours. Regardless, this is a fun interactive build to add to the calendar.

I was just about to say, there seems to be a bit of a theme for Day 10 across the calendars, so far.

I’m hoping it continues across all the calendars, get flingers in for all six and let ‘em fly

Just when you think you're safe, a giant murder penguin arrives.

If I had a dollar for every time ...

Sometimes it's a minifig scale murder penguin. Or an ice sculpture of one.

That catapult element really needs to be longer on both sides of the fulcrum.

I remember this clearly. Oh how time flies.

I was much less active on Brickset back then (so had no memory of that particular article), and my first thought was still "toilet paper catapult," given how often a 1x1 cylinder brick has been used for toilet paper.

Sometimes it's just a whisper of worry, a rumor of disaster, a forboding of fate.

For who does the penguin come? He comes fir you!
