Friends Advent Calendar - Day 13

Posted by ,

We're filling out the family portion of the calendar, since yesterday we were introduced to Rose, Paisley's mom. I think we may be following up with some more indoor activities over the coming days.

We might, but first we need to meet another member of Paisley's family! This is baby Ella, who is also featured in 42620. This is the first time I remember seeing swatch of hair on a Friends baby, and that red curl certainly shows that baby Ella is part of the family.

Or green ones to add some festivity!

Christmas is about celebrating a baby's birth.
So I guess it fits.

Good idea. That's the good thing about LEGO: You can swap back, once the joy is over.

By in Netherlands,

I don't ind exposed studs.

But those exposed hollow stufs from those vibrant coral inverted curves just look terrible

You do get lot more than the City baby too, as both got a bottle.

By in United Kingdom,

Yeah, Friends is embarrassing City here. (Which, looking at their general portfolios, is business as usual). We can critique the exposed hollow studs, but this is a printed baby, a bottle, and a 7 piece manger. A worthwile entry from the Friends.

It's a sacrifice to the Multiverse of Dreadflippers!

Pretty sure those are where the flames erupt from.

Manger? Looks more like a cradle to me. Although I guess if you fill it with food-like items and put it in front of a cow or a goat it might suffice as a manger...

Hey, rocking a baby can be an indoor activity!

Although the cow might not like the fact that its food is rocking back and forth.

Hark! The herald angel sing,
Glory to the newborn King!

Away in a manger
That's really a sled.
Little baby Paisley
Laid down its red head.

The studs on the sides
Spewed bright yellow flame.
Little baby Paisley
Slept just the same.

The cattle are lowing
Baby Paisly wakes up
Then closes his eyes
As the bovine does sup.

As noted in the description, this is Ella, not Paisley.
