Friends Advent Calendar - Day 11
Posted by MeganL,The snow/toilet paper catapult from yesterday is a very fun addition to our winter scene and provides a lot of play value. I wonder if today we'll get an idea of what the Friends may use as target practice for their catapult.
This is a perfect target! Today's build is a series of snow blocks that can be placed on top of each other. There are no studs on top, so the wall topples over quite nicely when struck by the snow/toilet paper ammunition.
As an aside, this was one of the most difficult builds I've tried to place in my photo area. Static energy is definitely a thing, and this is the best I could do to get everything somewhat straight!

Ah, the walls of Minas Tirith.
So far, there is still a kind of consistency between the calendars. I like the castle built from nappy packs and milk cartons.
It does look like an ice wall, doesn't it? So I guess yesterday's war between Arendelle and Heartlake City continues.

I actually had to google "nappy packs." It's been a long time since I heard a diaper referred to as a "nappy."
Looks so much like the sort of thing you’d get in a soft play area for kids to build and knock over, very apt

It's funny that I also used Google Image Search, as I'm not a native English speaker, to help me clarify that I meant the multi-piece nappy/diaper packs available in stores, and not a backpack with nappies, wet wipes, etc. :)

That made me smile. Round 1x1 are the worst!
Pink Flurried.
An ice castle!
Wait a minute...
Elsa’s castle again?! LET IT GO!

Nice! Let's hope this is a tease for a much larger version in the near future....
