Friends Advent Calendar - Day 15

Posted by ,

We returned to minibuilds, and indoor activities with yesterday's sound speaker and stage. Now we know one way the family provides entertainment during the holiday season. At this rate, I don't think we'll ever get back outside!

This is definitely another indoor activity. This is a really nice sewing machine on a table, along with a stool. Also provided is the output from the activity, a Santa hat. I particularly like the use of a skate blade for the sewing machine presser foot.

A nice build today, and I'll even call it festive because of the Santa hat.

That's a really nice model of a sewing machine. Well worth remembering that as a template for adding to other scenes.

I definitely like this one better than yesterday's, and its colours are not pre-2023 Friends style. The skate blade is an NPU.

Very nice, very nice indeed. Do the skate and the 1×2 plate touch? Because ideally you'd want to be able to get a minifig cape's thickness to slide in between.

I wasn't sure what the skate was for until you said "presser foot." It's been a while since Ilooked at a sewing machine.

Adorable! It must be for Olly.

A great model + a stool + an extra santa hat!
That's a big win for today!
Friends continues to go the extra mile!

Olly got something too, so that's nice as well!

It's even festive with the hat!

Well now we know where Rose’s harlequin-esque Christmas jumper came from

Huh. I was thinking serger, because the skate blade would cut the edge as it's passed through the machine.

Cute! I'm regretting not having bought the Friends AC this year. It seems to be the best one.

You need to get your material in before you put the presser foot down. ;)
