Won’t be getting this one because of the Ferrari but I do think it looks better than the Mercedes and it’s good for Red Bull fans which may want something more than just the speed champions set.

I have never seen Lego go all in like that in a single year! From the micro F1, the junior F1, the speed Champion and the Technic Large scales.... this is nuts...

€230 for 1600 pieces, yet they still can't do proper rear tires?

I'm sure this is a great year for F1 fans, but truely this is out of control! Never has there been such a lack of diversity in a set line-up. I'll be saving a lot of money in the next 12 months!

What is Lego thinking? All of these F1 models that are piling up is just rediculous. I travel frequently to my local Lego store and had asked them the other day day what they thought about all of these F1 sets coming out and they were actually concerned given that their current F1 models (speed champions, technic) are among their store’s LEAST-best selling items. I guess Lego sees a market for it? We’ll certainly see with how undoubtedly quickly these sets will be discounted.

In my toy stores, the Mclaren Speed Champion set has been our best selling Lego set ever. Having said that, according to Lego, Friends is one of their best-selling lines and yet we just cannot sell the line. It's in such a bad way I havent order any Frineds 2025 line up at all. I have no concerns with the SC F1, but all the rest of the range may struggle

Just imagine how good of a deal Lego got from Formula1 to promote the sport for the youngest audience... it almost looks like it's f1 that pays lego for the IP, not the other way around.

That thought occurred to me too ie. F1 using LEGO almost like a trojan horse to get kids acclimatised to the vulgar marketing which the sport is all about. Slightly sinister if so.

More F1 cars because apparently we aren't getting enough already next year

By in New Zealand,

Yay! A recoloured version of the Ferrari with a few parts changed. How fun!

I agree. Too many will not do the company very well. Like, how many people are going to buy more than one or two.

For Christ's sake, they simply can't get the nosecones right on these things.
There is absolutely no curved part in the nosecone IRL, it's one continuous line from the tip of it to the pitot tube, and then it flattens from there to the halo.
And still no correct rear tyres...

Something tells me F1 is more popular in the US than you'd think. I've recently found the Bburago 1:43s at Walmart and Tractor Supply. Sam's Club has two high-detail large-scale RC Rastars (Shell and Red Bull). Also, Hot Wheels has a number of new modern F1 cars slated for release next year--so far, Red Bull and Williams.

As for my take on the license--older is better. Hoping to see them from the '70s and older.

This will fly off the shelves here in NL.

What a way to expand part re-colours!

By in Ireland,

This year there were 20-odd Space sets across a number of themes and everyone thought it was fantastic.
Next year there will be 20-odd F1 sets across a number of themes and everyone is complaining.

I'm excited to see all teams represented, and I will definitely get all 10 Speed Champion F1 cars, but I don't get why so many people get excited for a space minifigure in a new colour. Each to their own.

And yes, there are issues with this Technic F1 car. The most issue obvious are the tyres. Also, with the new wishbone piece the new F1 cars are narrower than the McLaren and Mercedes from the past two years which will annoy people who want to display them together.

Don't worry, Lego would not have made such a business decision if it meant losing customers or revenue.

It will make just as many sets in other themes as it did in 2024, so you will still have plenty of other things to spend money on.

Revealing all of these F1 sets right before the end of the season and a few months before the new cars and liveries are revealed is certainly a choice.

Well, better than what they did with that McLaren that started this range.....presenting the "2022" car just days for the presentation of the actual thing, which turned out to have a completely different livery....

Rather late but accurate (kinda.....), than early and completely wrong.
