By in Germany,

Don't they all seem to appear overpriced?
(I like the Technic Dump Truck, the Flamingo and that Disney bird.)

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

Aside from 42203 i will get all of them.

By in Australia,

Must say I’m bit disappointed with the proportioning of the Supra, but I suppose at that scale it can’t be represented in the same way the traditionally boxy Charger (42111) could. Even so that rear end should definitely be more rounded

By in United Kingdom,

The minifig in 76969 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Skull seems superfluous and just bumps the price up for little reason. 76964 Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull doesn't have one.
Not being a mega-fan of the JW movies, I'm not sure who the character is even meant to be!

Well where to start? Pricing on all of these seem a little high for what you get, but that appears to be a trend with Lego lately. Still, can see them all getting discounted soon after release, so thats slightly moot. As for the actual sets?

Love the 3in1 creator. Mostly though because I want to build the Axolotl rather then the Flamingo. All of the options seem really well done though.

Never been a fan of technic built vehicles, so they're a miss for me.

HeiHei! Wow! Can see this little chicky selling very well. Mainly as I know a few people who claim HeiHei is their spirit animal. But also because its just a brilliant and colourful display piece.

Little Eatie? Love him. Will look great next to my Baby Bumpy.

The skull though... don't think it works as well as the T-Rex skull. It has a few too many studs on display for it to be a convincing fossil, and the eye sockets just look terrible without them being hollow.

By in United States,

Jurassic Park minifigure and fossil display at minifigure scale is a nice add for the set 76969

By in Australia,

Jurassic World seems to be trying to stick to a couple of themes, with the dinosaur skull and the baby dinosaur (with exaggerated proportions) matching sets that came out this past year.

I wasn't immediately sold on the flamingo (although it is a nice build) but then I saw one of the alternate builds was a lovely little axolotl. Yep. Day one purchase.

42202 looks totally ugly and was clearly designed with the sole purpose of reusing dark blue parts from the 42206 Red Bull car.

By in Hungary,

76969 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Skull has 468 pcs for €44.99,
76964 Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull has 577 pcs for €39.9 and I think it looks better.

43272 Heihei is colorful and funny.

42203 Truck looks like a ~ €33 set instead of €49.99, in addition, without a B model.

By in Russian Federation,

I still don't understand why they need a movie license to sell dinosaur sets. As if dinosaurs' coolness was too much for an average person to bear, so it needs to be brought down a peg by the assosiation with the subpar movie series. (It would be so awesome to have just one big simple dinosaurs theme with no restrictions and license fee)

P.S. The alternative builds for the flamingo set rival, if not outright outmatch, the main model.

Pretty bummed about the $50 Technic car subtheme being bumped up to $60

I saw the just2good video about the reveal of 76969, and as I commented on that video, between that set and 10363, I'm going to have to clear some display space. The Triceratops has always been my favorite dinosaur. In fact, I commented on the review of 76964 that "[If] they do a Triceratops one, that I'll have to pick up!" And I have to wonder, along with just2good, how many sigfigs will end up using the torso from the minifig in that set. Also, I never would have thought the 3-in-1 line would give us a kitschy lawn ornament, but there 31170 is! Finally, Finally, while 42203 looks nice, and I like the opening gate, I already have 42147, so I'll give it a pass.

Gravatar
By in United States,

76969 (double nice) is a Day One pickup for me! Triceratops is my favorite dinosaur, and that Jurassic Park torso is gonna be super useful down the line!
But why is 76967 a baby? Little Eatie is clearly an adult in Camp Cretaceous.

By in Netherlands,

I would have never expected to see an official Lego model of an axolotl, even if it’s just an alternative model of the pink flamingo :-) Feels so random

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Not a Moana fan but I keep hens so may get the HeiHei set.

Bought the T-Rex skull. Although I like the Tri skull I wish they’d stuck with the footprint and skull format instead of adding a minifigure and dig site :-/

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

I'm going to have to get the Triceratops skull, just for the Jurassic Park logo on the minifig torso alone!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Triceratops skull bears only a passing resemblance to a real fossil. Even at 500 pieces, I’d have expected better to be honest.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I feel like if you rebuilt that T-rex in purple instead of orange, you'd have Chomper from the Land Before Time series...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Nice, but a bit worried that there might be no more City announcements for January 2025...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Creator 3-in-1 animals often end up being among my favorite sets of an entire year and this flamingo is no exception.

Yep Yep Yep!

(I know that's Ducky's phrase, but it still applies here!)

By in United Kingdom,

Heihei ooh!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love the flamingo set. Is it me, or does the axolotl look a little like Falkor the luckdragon?

Gravatar
By in Italy,

I hope that we will get a Speed Champions version of the SUPRA from F&F

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I love the Axolotl Alt Build of the Flamingo

My kids (7 and 8) have been bringing home axolotl-themed items all year. I think it’s a trend, like llamas were several years ago.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Oh look another 800 piece licenced Technic car with real working steering and some pins going through a beam for an engine.....mmm

@JudgeChuck:
The minifig includes a torso with the JP/JW logo, which is an actual shirt style that you can buy in the real world. As such, it'll probably be very popular.

@mafon2:
Licenses help drive sales, as long as they're tied to a current/recent film or TV series. Some people will buy it just for the giant dinosaur skull, but others will absolutely buy it because it's part of a theme they collect.

@ForestMenOfEndor:
Do they play Minecraft? Because they're featured in part of that game, and apparently are very popular with younger Minecraft players.

I have no real interest in The Fast and the Furious as a franchise (I only bought 76912 to get an eight-wide Charger), but I'd love to see more Speed Champions sets from movies or television. Just 76911, 76912, and 76917 so far. I know I'm not the only one who wants a Herbie.

LEGO AXOLOTL!!! :3

They are Minecraft aware but not Minecraft active (ie, they read books about it and build Minecraft LEGO sets, but they don’t play the game). But there is an increasing amount of axolotl swag in our house, regardless.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is that supposed to be Kelley from JP 2 in 76969

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Triceratops skull and Flamingo are great!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I thought 42203 was a £9 set at first. I don't see £45 worth of LEGO there, that's bananas.

The Triceratops skull is cool but the minifig and the display, not to mention how studdy it is, make me think it might not sit so nicely with the previous T-Rex skull.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

All quite good sets, except the fossil. I for some reason really don't like it.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Is that a new yellow curved 1x1 slope on Heihei’s beak?

Yes, it's also been spotted in the same color on Baby Peach's hair in one of the Mario Kart sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Never really been a Technic fan, or a fan of the F&F franchise, but that Supra looks awesome. Definitely gonna be picking that one up.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I quite like the t-rex skull and was excited for future sets, but the triceratops massively underwhelms. Those eye sockets are just oof

Gravatar
By in United States,

Missing some of the new announcements as they get pushed to the next page on my device. Is it possible to only do one Advent calendar article each day and have the individual links within that article instead of several different Day 1 articles etc? Just seems to clog up the front page.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The price equivalents seem to be bouncing around a lot, meaning that what seems overpriced in one area might not be in another. The sets themselves are all appealing, but I'm most likely to get the flamingo and the Triceratops fossil. None of them are especially high-priority for me, however--just as well, considering what I've shelled out to get recently!

As the Advent Calendar family continues to grow, that seems like an increasingly more sensible idea.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I do have a fondness for mid-century Miami kitsch, and that funky chicken is fabulously f%^*ing freaky! I love it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

"Hey, you know what's cooler than a triceratops?
Every other dinosaur that ever existed!"

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

The price for that dump truck has to be a mistake, right?

As much as I love the Advent Countdown, I can't really argue with that.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The creator animal sets have been knock outs lately. The Giraffe, the Fox, now this Flamingo and the accompanying side builds. But I still can't justify buying them with all of these other sets available.

Heihei is solid. I wanted to build my own version for years, but never got around to it. Now I don't have to worry about it and just buy the official version.

I liked dinos as a kid, but I don't care as much about them as an adult. Maybe 30 years ago I'd love these JW sets.

Gravatar
By in Italy,

I would have liked to see the Fast & Furious Toyota mk4 in the Speed ??Champions line…
