40762 as the GWP to decorate the 76968.
"Yeah, yeah, but your LEGO designers were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should."
(Just joking, this T-rex looks great.)
So how much would that have been without the minifigs and the plaque?
"Go big or go home!"
Okay, I'll go home ;)
This looks like it would drain my will to build. Putting on all these bones would seem like a nightmare.

It is magnificent when you see it in person! Well worth it! Can't be worse than a modular with the same brickwork

"And now they're selling it, they want to sell it."
I bought mine this morning and shipped out within an hour. Never seen it that quick before. Usually 3-4 days. Guess they don’t have a lot of orders atm.
I don't have the budget for it, but if I did, I'd mod it into a dracolich. I'd also replace the black supports with trans clear ones.
The perfect metaphor for AFOLs these days as LEGO just has to release the bare bones of an idea and we'll scarf it up.
I can't believe that there is over 3100 pieces in this set by looking at it.
They sell the skull in a separate set so you can buy a two and make a 3-headed T-Rex skeleton.
Beautiful display model.
Looks incredible.
And the price excellent for over 3100 pieces.

"The LEGO world has just changed so radically, and we're all building to catch up. I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but look... Lego Dinosaurs and man, two things separated by 65 million bricks have just been suddenly thrown back into the mix together. "
"How can we possibly have the slightest idea what to expect?"
(I expect a trip to the Lego store in the future)

Well according to the instructions the plaque is roughly 100 pieces and there are two minifigures. Being generous based on the price of minifigures in the CMF series (although these minifigs are not to the same quality) they would cost $5 each. Plus, the $10 for the plaque would make it $20 cheaper possibly.
However, my understanding of lego sets is often the designers are given a price point to meet rather than the other way round of designing a set with no limitations and having it priced in retrospect. I'm not sure if that applies to D2C sets like this one though so I could be wrong.

Probably the same price but they would have included more bricks in the base instead.
