More 2015 set details
Posted by Matthew,
TomKraut has sent in this link to a Swiss Toy Wholesale site, listing details of many 2015 sets that tally with the rumours previously posted here, in the forum, and elsewhere. The translations aren't the best but I think we can conclude that the sets listed will exist. The set numbers can be retrieved from the product code by removing the 411 from the front - eg: A-Wing Starfighter, Product code 411-75-003 = 75003

Just wanted to clarify that while I sent in the tip, I wasn't the one who found the link. It seems to originate from Eurobricks member 'ghostmind', but I'm not sure if he was the first or someone else told him before that.
Cool beans. I am currently most excited about the new BIONICLE sets, but the Ninjago sets also sound exciting (and eleven of them is more than I would have expected in a single wave, given the smaller profile of the Ninjago lineup for the past two years). Apparently we're going to be seeing more Anacondrai — that's Pythor's tribe of Serpentine. Previously, he was the last of his kind (it was heavily implied that he had to EAT his fellow Anacondrai to survive), but the amount of sets with Anacondrai in their name makes me think that this is no longer the case in the 2015 storyline.
Meanwhile, LEGO Friends is getting a hot air balloon and a lighthouse, two things we don't see in LEGO too often! And there's the mysterious new "Elves" theme, which appears to be a girl-oriented fantasy line — something I've been saying for a while that LEGO needs. Overall, the lineup looks promising and I look forward to further information on what we can anticipate for 2015! In the meantime, though, I still have a lot of 2014 sets on my wishlist that I still have yet to obtain!
I'm loving the size of this Ninjago wave, although elemental Anacondrai seem a little strange. CHIMA has nothing to offer except for polar bears, and I'm happy to see the CITY names in a more finalized form.
Also, it looks like the SW 2015 sets got added to the database. Meanwhile, we haven't heard zip squat on 75060...
Isn't a NinjaGo movie coming out next year? That's probably why there are so many.
BTW, every item on this page has set numbers! Example:
A-Wing Starfighter, 411-75-003
The A-Wing's set number is 75003...
Shouldn't be too hard to spot now ;-)
@The Green Brick Giant: No, the Ninjago movie isn't until 2016. Though there have been some hints that we will be seeing a full season of TV episodes for 2015, so that might have to do with the increase in sets (this year, we just had eight episodes, with two airing back-to-back as a one-hour special every couple months).
Is the 411 the of parts then for your example?
@blars82
Nope, the 411 is in front of every number on this page. Probably their code for 'Lego'.
Doesn't look specifically like an "Elves" theme, but some sort of fairy tale / fantasy idea, if you group by set numbers, and apply some dodgy translation:
41071 - Arias Kreativwerkstatt (Aria's Creative Workshop)
41072 - Naidas geheimnisvolle Quelle (Naida's Mysterious ?Source? ?Spring?)
41073 - Naidas Abenteuerschiff (Naida's Adventure-Ship)
41074 - Azari u.die Magi.Bäckerei (Azari and the Magic Bakery)
41075 - Das mystische Elfenversteck (The Mysterious ?Hidden Elf? ?Elf Hide-away?)
41076 - Farran und die Kristallhöhle (Farran and the Crystal Cave)
Anyone know what these are about? Something LEGO's made up?
At least the numbers seem to be in a similar range to Friends sets, rather than DUPLO. And the titles are like the Friends sets, typically specifying a named character in each set.
OK, maybe it is all Elves. Better English versions here:
http://www.thebrickfan.com/new-lego-elves-line-coming-in-2015/
Though a difference in 41071 and 41073.
It is a tragedy that the elves will be mini-dolls and not a sub-theme of Castle. I really don't understand a lot of the decisions made by Lego as they just don't seem to make much business sense.
Ok, so a quick look suggests the following themes:
-Another wave of Agents
-Another wave of Chima Ice and Fire (Polar Bear, Sabertooth Tiger and Phoenix)
-Another wave of Ninjago (most likely snakes in the future setting)
-More Star Wars including Star Wars Rebels
-More Marvel and DC superheros
-More Hobbit sets (probably 2014Q4)
-New Bionicle line featuring the Toa Olda (!!!)
-City/Police Swamp line
-New Pirate line
-New Race Car line featuring McLaren and Porsche (partnership unannounced, so Lego's gonna scrub this leak...)
-Another wave of Friends
-Girl-marketed Elves line, possibly related to Friends
-Disney Princess wave, looks like both Friends scale and Duplo scale
-More Duplo sets
-Minifig-scale Minecraft line (possibly 2014Q4)
-More Creator sets, though some might be Technic
Definitely curious to see these new pirate and Bionicle sets, but overall it sounds like it might be another year of back catalog collection for me.
I love this time of year, when we see so many previews of next year's sets.
I am a fan of the old Ferrari F1 minifig scale sets, so I can't wait to see these:
F14 T & Ferrari Truck
McLaren Mercedes Boxenstopp
Porsche 911 GT Ziellinie
And the Doppeldecker Couch!
All sets seem to good but I still have to polish some of my 2014 sets
Aaaand it's gone. Took them long enough, but all the new set listings have vanished from the site. Good thing a saved the whole page as soon as I learned about it.
