21361 Gremlins: Gizmo
1,125 pieces, rated 18+
$109.99 / £89.99 / €99.99

Show your affection for the cutest Mogwai in the 1984 movie Gremlins with a LEGO Ideas poseable figure of Gizmo (21361). This collectable model building set for adults allows you to capture all of Gizmo’s adorable characteristics in LEGO style.
Assemble the Gizmo figure so he is either standing up or sitting down. Rotate his head and adjust his ears, arms, hands, fingers and feet to create different looks. The set also includes iconic accessories to make your display even more irresistible: a water splash element, alluding to how water makes Mogwais replicate, which attaches to Gizmo’s back, plus brick-built 3D glasses like the ones Gizmo used to read comic books.
This LEGO Ideas building set for adults makes a delightful nostalgic gift for movie lovers, allowing them to create fantasy decor that will make any Gremlins fan smile.

Don't build it after midnight!
Ow, my wallet
It’s cute, but I confess I never got around to watching Gremlins, so in the brick built fuzzy wuzzy boi rankings I would still rather have Wicket.
Oh no, keep it away from water.
Furry brick built Gizmo turned out better than Wicket and especially Chewbacca.
already preordered as part of Target's Fall Collector-Thon
Well that's just adorable. Not exactly my thing, but it's really well-made, and stinkin' cute.
Bit sad they didn't include a minifig.
That is excellent! The shaping on the ears and face is top notch stuff
Will they be releasing Gremlins also?
I kinda like it, and do think it is a clear improvement over the fan submission. Just not sure if I like it enough to spend 100 bucks on it. So will definitely wait for a discount. And it does desperately need one or two gremlins as a counterpart.
BTW, I've noticed the site is sometimes kinda slow or not responding at all the last couple of days? Something on my end or issues with the site?
Does it float?
Why does this look 1000% better than Star Wars buildable figs
Yam-Yam!!
Nice, will buy as soon as it is discounted, very well executed
I feel like there was an opportunity to use the water element for something more interactive. Like, maybe it goes into a slot on Gizmo’s back and some little proto-Gremlins get spat out. Guess I’ll make do with my Lego Dimensions Gizmo minifigure.
This is probably as good as a LEGOfication of Gizmo's going to be, and it looks pretty cute. Even the price is very fair, especially considering this is a licensed set. Still, you can get far more movie accurate toy versions of Gizmo in various scales at less than half of this set's price. NECA's Gremlins action figure line is truly awesome and affordable.
The minifig exist (even if the mold have probably been throwned away since then), it's really sad to not put it in this set...
Hm, the scale is cool, but I probably won’t get it. If it had been smaller for like $60, it would have been quite possible. But, I’ll take Wall-E instead.
Hopefully they'll do a follow up set for Stripe.
I don’t have any interest in buying it, but they did a nice job with this one.

Gotta have both
I like how this one turned out; it's pretty cute.
Grogu 2.0, but with a bit of a Botox mishap on the lower lip. :))
I love the model, but it is too expensive for its size. The figure is about the same size as 75318 The Child/Grogu, but that one was released for $90 (in 2020) and included the baby minifig.
And the much larger sculpture of 75255 Yoda was released for $100 in 2019.
Inflation, yada yada, record profits.
I don't know if I can watch it today, but I loved the movie back in the day. Also, I'm not sure if I want to see it on my shelf in Lego mode. I think, I'ld prefer something fluffy.
Odd to give it 3D glasses but for it not to wear them in any of the pictures - presumably they don't fit...?
Cool and all, but I dont collect statues
I was going to skip this, but he’s just too darn cute!
Since when does moving a moveable part qualify as 2in1? And I’m not sure a single transclear tile can be called as an iconic accessory. The idea above from @Mister_Jonny about including a play feature to spit out more Mogwai would have been fun.
I like the design. I like that it’s not static. I don’t get the seemingly unwearable glasses, though I suspect our great community will help us with that. I don’t love the price, but what’s new. I only ended up with Grogu after a surprising Costco clearance find.
Well it certainly looks exactly like Gizmo. I'd say this is the best brick-built "cute" fuzzy thing they've ever done. I think it looks better than Wicket, personally.
Looking at the size of the parts, though, I'm struggling to understand how it's over a thousand parts.
I will always prefer minifig-scale builds (and yes--I own the Gizmo figure from LEGO Dimensions).
With that said, this is a well-done model--they really captured his likeness!

I think the legs need a bit of rebuilding to be sat down.
Avoid. No stickers.
If you still need the shaved version in your life, 76421 is still available. And it will always remain available. For ever and ever.

21361 Gremlins: Gizmo
1,125 pieces, rated 50+
$999.99 / £89.99 / €99.99
Available at LEGO.com from 1st October
Embark on a creative voyage with the (21361) LEGO Icons Gremlins: Gizmo animal creature model for adults (21361). Show your affection for the cutest and likely only Mogwai your parents told you about from like 40 years ago or something with this LEGO Ideas poseable figure of Gizmo (21361). Craft a detailed LEGO interpretation (21361) of the legendary animal creature thing with bulbous eyes, brickbuilt fur, and imagine 8 (not included) iconic film character minifigures, including Gizmo, Spike, Salesman Dad, Mom, Anamaria, the character you didn’t know was named Billy, Kate, and the mysterious shopkeeper.
This film replica model building set (21361) for adults captures the animal creature thing in all its glory and both of Gizmo’s adorable characteristics (toes and eyes) in LEGO brickbuilt style. Imagine that you could rotate dials to deploy more mogwai, extend the toes to make it look a little different and rebuild the legs to reveal an entirely new set in sitting mode. Rotate his head (because we somehow determined Gizmo is a boy) to create different looks. Appreciate the lack of superfluous clutter like candlesticks or an apple.
Additional irresistible features include iconic accessories to help the set meet its price point such as the detachable water splash element (alluding to how mogwai procreate), brickbuilt chunky unwearable 3D glasses, and a versatile box for packaged display. Alternatively, the creature can be split at the waistline to depict the gremlin in bathing mode.
This LEGO Ideas building set for adults (21361) makes a delightful nostalgic gift for your parents and grandparents, allowing them to create fantasy decor because who will notice anyway…I mean have you seen how they decorated the house, and why that one terrible picture of me….

Got to have both.
This looks great! I had wanted to build my own, but when they announced they were going to make one I knew it would be better than I could do. I'm not a professional designer. So I'll gladly pick this up eventually. The shaping is really well done. Looks spot on for being a hard plastic brick.

A+ work.
In other news, I was five when Gremlins came out, and I saw it in the theater. I had nightmares for years. This model is very well executed, but anyone bringing it into our house may also be … executed.
Unmistakably Gizmo, and one of my favourite films but brick built characters jist don't do it for me so easy pass and will stick to my dimensions minifigs...
Ah, they made the box black to indicate that you shouldn’t expose him to sunlight. Smart.

Maybe…you should skip this one… The world might be a safer place if you do.
I personally don't care for Gizmo, but this is a really well-done recreation and I salute LEGO for it.
Having said that, man I would kill for a Stripe or generic Gremlin. I really hope Gizmo is just a start and not a one-off.
Peak
Too much Nostalgia and Money Lego this year but I love this
So unexpected too!
What's next the child's play doll? Lol

Chucky with a sound brick.......now that would be absolutely perfect!
Really well-made! Might be buying. That drop of water on his back is hilarious.
@Modok:
The biggest problem I had with the Dimensions release is that they only made Gizmo and Stripe. I would love a non-Stripe Gremlin. Or, more specifically, I'd like a pile of non-Stripe Gremlins.
@legoavenger14:
What are you talking about? Gremlins is famously a PG-rated family film. It's Gremlins 2 that had the scene in the movie theater where they switch the film with a nudie flick.

Gremlins and Temple of Doom and the reason PG-13 exists as a rating.

Gremlins along with Temple of Doom drove the industry to create the PG-13 rating.
Gremlins 2 brought us Rambo Gizmo and the wonderful Robert Prosky.

Gremlins and Temple of Doom drove Steven Spielberg to _request_ the MPAA to introduce a rating between PG and R, because he, as a director/producer, felt too constrained by the huge gap between what could earn a PG rating, and what _should_ be an R-rated film. And it turned out he was more right than he probably expected, because PG-13 is now the money rating. Teens with after-school jobs want to watch stuff that's edgier than G or PG, but they're too young to get into R-rated films. Parents also want something that's toned down from R to take their families to, and as the kids age up, they can shift from G to PG to PG-13.

What are you talking about? No one mentioned anything about a specific scene, ?? it was unexpected because the only gremlins set I've ever seen before this was a dimensions one years ago!
Wow Americans will argue about anything just just to be heard dude!!
