City Advent Calendar - Day 3

Posted by ,

The minifigure-scale bulldozer toy from day two leads me to wonder whether we will see further microscale recreations of 2025 City sets over the coming days.

I hope so...

In fact, we receive a different kind of toy. This polar bear plush is brand new and complements the costumed minifigure revealed a couple of days ago perfectly, with a similar grey tummy. Moreover, the warm colours of the table are striking, but the highlight is definitely the bear. Perhaps this item could have been packed with the child in the polar bear costume, but I can understand keeping an exclusive accessory for its own day.

Overall - This polar bear plush is excellent and bodes very well for new parts arriving throughout the Advent Calendar.

3 days into the city calendar and there's been a distinct lack of penguins ... but a really high proportion of polar bears. I mean, two out of three, you know?

Disney day one came with a penguin. And an aboomination.

I really do think this is a nice teddy [polar] pear variant. Definitely adds a different touch to the ones pre-existing, but it still fits in nicely.

By in Netherlands,

I suppose it's possible that this adorable thing is a polar bear cub! I suppose it's also possible that the Day 1 gift was its mother, in the process of eating a random child's head.

Nature sure is beautiful, man. Majestic, even.

Finally! Someone to stand tall against villany and rapacious fowl blood lust....

Oh, wait. It's just a hungry polar bear.

That's a throne. Is this polar bear Dreadflipper's North Pole counterpart? It has already brainwashed at least one human into its cult of personality, and has a powerful bulldozer. Dreadflipper better watch out.

Points for throwing in a few generic parts so there’s actually something to build, and not just making the bunny…I mean bear, a single-element day.

Don't miss the dried blood on the 2x3 plate. Dreadflipper already murdered and stuffed him, and this is the display which the evil penguin keeps in his throne room.

I wish that Day 1 of the SW calendar had had at least this much to go with the character!

I couldn't agree more with you. When I opened the box for day 1 I honestly thought the bag was empty!
