City Advent Calendar - Day 9

A third of the way through the LEGO City Advent Calendar, I would anticipate our third minifigure today, continuing the pattern of the calendar so far.
Let's open the door and see...
Another costumed minifigure is provided today, this time dressed as a reindeer! The headgear was created for a Reindeer Costume Collectable Minifigure a few years ago, although this one includes a black nose rather than a dark brown one. The antlers are a separate component and they look excellent, as do the moulded ears.
Similar to the polar bear-costumed minifigure from day one, the torso is adorned with fur and a patterned scarf, with a white tail on the back. The whole design seems very charming and I like the double-sided head too, featuring rosy cheeks, presumably because of the chilly weather.
The accessory is also fun, as a reindeer would have need for a compass while pulling Santa's sleigh. The printed compass tile is fairly common, but its ornate design looks splendid and this accessory is well-chosen.
Overall - This is another brilliant minifigure, making clever use of existing costume elements.

I got two copies of the CAC to raid for minifigs, and honestly the compass was the one held item that made zero sense to me.

Yeah, it seems like you'd need more navigational tools than that to go all around the world in one night.

Exactly. Santa and his reindeer have a step in their itinerary that's literally just "go north until you run out of north to go."
Santa uses child labor now. Boycott Christmas!
