City Advent Calendar - Day 12

LEGO City Advent Calendars tend to be relatively unpredictable, but this one has followed quite a consistent pattern so far, which should result in another vehicle arriving today.
I wonder what it will be...
This skateboard is not what I had in mind. I suppose it fulfils a role for play, although I would like more substantial items from the Advent Calendar, similar to the snowplough from day eight. This colour is quite underwhelming too, as lime green is just about the most common shade for LEGO skateboards. A helmet is provided, at least.
Overall - The skateboard provides some play value, but it is pretty lacklustre.

Funny, only minutes earlier, I looked up 6628", another set without driver.
That’s…certainly a choice for color coordination.
What's disappointing is that the kids can't safely use this, or the scooter from earlier in the calendar - both of them have alternate face prints, and those are visible with these helmets.
Accessories sans figures are never a great day.

This feels like Friends or Minecraft would have given a figure to go along with it. Or a small ramp. Or anything that could add to it.
Well, it's two pieces more than yesterday's offering.

This is the first day of the city advent calendar where my son has opened the door, seen what it is, and not bothered to open the bag to get the contents out.

Our calendar has been a mess. So far, one missing day in our calendar and then yesterday's/todays disappointments. Nothing says winter fun like a pink helmet crash helmet and a kitten in a box.
