Love that they’ve made the Cheshire Cat’s head so easily detachable but I think it’s a shame they don’t include a column of transparent bricks to have it “floating” on the stand given how often he pulls that act

Really inventive builds! It’s disappointing the aliens aren’t really very cute, but I cannot think of a better way to capture their faces when you need to use the BrickHeadz eyes. The Mad Hatter is especially good!

Like they should :-)
It is a bit of a possessed story anyways.

I must say i like all of them. Never have i collected Brickheadz, but if i did i would have loved to add these to the collection (also all those Transformers ones)

Alice in Wonderland Brickheadz versions of characters we don't have mini-figures of yet?

Curiouser and curiouser...

Why do all of the Toy Story characters look like they aren't happy?

Brickheadz aren't really to my taste, but those Alice in Wonderland ones look surprisingly good; they all look like the characters they're meant to be, and are surprisingly detailed renditions, at that. Perhaps my favourites yet, after 40559's Road Runner - and I'm not even the hugest fan of this movie!

Not convinced the Toy Story characters are improvements over 40552 and 40553, though. Woody's star and vest being brick-built is a nice touch, but the lack of any design on his shirt front, as well as lack of holster, make him feel a little like a downgrade. Buzz meanwhile has gone in the other direction and now just has a single print for his front, in contrast to the TS4 version giving him a bit more depth built into his spacesuit chest. I'm not fully sold on either version of them because, again, not a big Brickheadz fan; but I think the 2022 versions did a bit more effectively within the constraints of the medium.

That's just my two cents, though...

By in United States,

Claw Aliens! But I'm curious why they count them as two distinct models when they appear to be identical builds.

If Ididn't already have 40552 and 40553, 40860 would be a must-buy. Even as it is, I'm extremely tempted.

I might have to get the Toy Story one.

The Alice in Wonderland ones are great, especially the Mad Hatter. No interest in the Toy Story ones, especially as 40553 is better

By in United States,

Of all the available characters in Toy Story they give us two aliens?

Yay, great.

I LOVE the Alice in Wonderland set - definitely getting that and I think the Toy Story one is okay... probably stick it on my Christmas list or something.

I know, right? They should always come in threes! Where's the missing Claw Alien?

He was chosen. He went to a better place.

I agree. I feel like Brickheadz have always included a number of detailed printed parts and these just feel lacking and really lazy.

Luckily I already have the 2022 versions so maybe I'll just make some modifications to my current set and Bricklink the Jesse & Alien parts and save myself some money since the only exclusive piece is the alien torso print.
