LEGO Ideas 21369 The X-Files revealed!
Posted by CapnRex101,There have already been two LEGO Ideas sets announced for release on August 1st and a third has been unveiled today, 21369 The X-Files! The press release follows:
21369 The X-Files
1,478 pieces, rated 18+
$199.99 / £179.99 / €199.99
Available at LEGO.com from 1st August
The LEGO Group, in collaboration with Disney Entertainment, today unveils the LEGO Ideas The X-Files (21369) set, a 1,478-piece model that invites adult fans to celebrate the iconic '90s sci-fi drama.
To mark the reveal, Emmy Award-winning actor, Gillian Anderson, stars in a cinematic mini-film tribute to the beloved series. With a nod to FBI Special Agent Dana Scully, Anderson is drawn into an investigation that gradually leads her to uncover the LEGO set itself, piece by piece – bringing the world of The X-Files into brick-built form for the fans.
The LEGO Ideas The X-Files set recreates iconic moments from the series, centred on a detailed build of Fox Mulder’s office, paired with a forest clearing scene and a hovering UFO. The set includes 8 Minifigures: Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and a grey alien, allowing fans to recreate key investigations and encounters.
The build is rich in authentic detail, including the "The Truth is Out There" tile, an "I Want to Believe" poster, an X-Files dossier, a nod to his sunflower seed habit, and pencils in the ceiling of Mulder’s office.
The set also offers versatile display options. The forest diorama can be showcased on its own, while Mulder’s office can be opened or partially disassembled to reveal interior details. The UFO is mounted on a transparent stand, creating the illusion that is hovering above the forest, but it can also be removed from alternative display arrangements, as a striking dual-display presentation.
Anderson comments: "I didn’t expect to be stepping back into Scully’s heels to investigate a LEGO set… it has been so much fun revisiting that world all these years later. This set is a wonderful celebration of the X-Files, and the fans who have kept its mystery alive. The level of detail is brilliant – there are so many little nods that fans will absolutely recognise – and as a LEGO fan myself, I love that people can now quite literally build their own X-Files moments at home."
The LEGO Ideas The X-Files set was submitted as part of the LEGO Ideas ’90s Nostalgia Challenge by Brisbane-based 3D Artist and Fan Designer Brent Waller (LEGO Ideas name: wetwired). LEGO Ideas invites fans to submit product ideas, which are then voted on by the community before being considered for production as official LEGO sets.
Brent Waller comments: “I was obsessed with The X-Files from the moment I first saw it in the ’90s. I originally built Mulder’s office back in 2014 while rewatching the series, and it grew from there as a personal project. I wanted to combine nostalgia, detail and storytelling to capture the atmosphere of the show – from Mulder’s office to the forest and UFO encounter. I’m thrilled to see it become an official LEGO set and hope it resonates with both long-time fans and new audiences.”
The LEGO Ideas The X-Files (21369) set will be available for LEGO Insiders Early Access from 1st August 2026, and available for all from 4th August 2026, priced at £179.99 / €199.99 / $199.99. Discover more and purchase at LEGO.com/X-Files or visit your nearest LEGO Store.
Additionally, shoppers who purchase the set (21369) between 1st – 10th August 2026, will receive the LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) as a Gift with Purchase, available while stocks last.

The price is so not okay
In terms of sticking to the original design of the project, I'd say this is pretty good. AND a GWP. Very neat.
I also love her new hairpiece!
I bought Mulder & Scully (agent Spooky and agent Sceptic, if I remember correctly) minifigs from Waller Customs some years ago, so it's nice to finally see the duo (and also the extra characters) in official LEGO form as well. Will be getting this for sure.
The true set is (soon) out there!
where's Eugene Tooms??? :-(

Mulder and Scully would've wanted to be standard yellow minifigs.
While I'm not usually one to complain about Lego prices, and feel the discussion about them nowadays is absolutely ridiculous, this one does feel expensive to me.

The price is out there…
Meanwhile, Supernatural was kicked out from Ideas.
2 hundred buckaroos for less than 1500 pieces...
So where is the mini-film?
https://youtu.be/lhHKsgH39XI?is=Mj0fqMN1IEUIdzFU
Even if you include the GWP the price is still steep.
Having said that, it's faithful to the original fan design, much more than some Ideas sets. I like the triangular UFO, but I'm not enough of an X-Files fan to buy this. Sorry Dana/ Gillian.
This is amazing! Day one buy for me
I low-key love Gillian Anderson for actually doing the promotional video. Brilliant.
As an X Files obsessive, this is a bit disappointing. It was always a tough challenge though to make an office a distinctive model. I appreciate the nods to a couple of (mostly first and second season) episodes but, as usual, they're mostly in the form of images on tiles. 'Scully's lab' is bizarre since Scully does not have a lab - most of the autopsies on the show are conducted in the coroner's office of whichever town/city the episode is set in. I hope they haven't actually labelled the Cigarette Smoking Man as 'Carl Busch' (even if that is technically accurate - not always the best kind of accurate). I realise I'm a grump and had low expectations already, but this is pretty meh for me, I'm afraid, and the price is ridiculous.
the truth is in Lego!
Fight the Future!
And new series coming next year!
Now this looks great, are they teasing a series?

Probably a liver-eating serial killer was too much for Lego.
Apparently, a half-man, half-parasityc worm radioactive killer who lives in the sewers is more family friendly.

More likely Doug Hutchinson (the actor who played Tooms) was too much for LEGO. His personal history over the last ~15 years is not great.
When I saw the piece count, I presumed it would be €150-€165. That's a bit of a difference really. It doesn't seem like a €200 set. I'm glad I have quite a few points built up so I can take a big chunk out of the cost.

A shame that they have not included CGB Spender, although for obvious reasons...
Now, where'd *cough* I leave *cough, COUGH * my **long hacking cough** pack of Morley's..?
The price definitely completely alien to me, but I do appreciate they gave Krycek black oil eyes. I do miss Deep Throat as a character a bit. Trust no one.
It looks great and playable. Thats good.
I want it just for the grey alone xD
I see an office, a few office workers, an alien in the forest, and some metallic roof. All for $200 (Gosh!). If not for the sign that says, The Truth Is Out There, I won’t know what this whole thing is about.
This does look pretty good, but the closest I came to The X-Files was liking Catatonia, so several other August releases will take precedence.
Would have been day one for me, then I saw the price.
Discount necessary.
I commend Scully on her good use of PPE in the lab, but bringing in food like that donut is a huge no-no!
Jack Sparrow has given away the compass!!! >:)

I think when Scully uses a coroner’s office or laboratory to conduct an autopsy, it immediately becomes Scully’s Lab, and no one else’s. :P
As a die hard X-Files fan and AFOL, this set is a dream come true. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d see the day when LEGO would produce an official set based on the show.
I'm a fan of the show but the set doesn't interest me at all.
outrageously expensive
Wow, I really wanted this one too. But no way I can justify the cost of this one for what you are getting. I get all the minifigs will be exclusives and probably never used again. But it's not that big and most of the pieces are filler small stuff. I'd buy at $150, maybe 170, if the GWP was guaranteed, but 200 without GWP is just too much. Maybe if this goes on sale, but I'm not holding my breath on that.

without the Smoking Man having a cigarette, this set will always be broken to me
That price really made me hesitate. Even with the GWP, it is high.
Going to have to use some of my points to get this at a reasonable price. Thank goodness for all that Double Points previously...
Going to need to make a Modular FBI building... with a basement.
Looks good. Twin Peaks will probably be next.
They won’t do it, but I’d love an X-files logo a la the Marvel and SW ones.
I like-ish the set. The minifigures are great, but as others have said, the build is rather non-descript (but that’s also the nature of the show).
Edit: comparing the submission, the office suffered from the downscale for sure - this feels far less real. If I get it, I’ll have to try to mod it.

I'm not sure the show has many iconic locations, I feel even the "I want to believe poster" may be more iconic than the office itself.
Again, feeling like a broken record here….that price is laughable. The minifigs are great & the build looks really good but it feels like you’re *paying* for the GWP instead of getting it for free here.
Looks a great deal like the submission (although again how good it looks in reality depends a lot on the lighting) which is a positive, and I wasn't expecting a GWP with this.
That price though, it's an easy pass. It's not nearly important enough to my nostalgia for that kinda money!
Nope, pass. This looks like the office is in a bunker under the forest.
Cool $150 set!
That is, without a doubt, the worst Adventures of Brisco County Jr. set I’ve ever seen.
I feel like “Carl Busch” is missing a vital accessory.

Sticker should be a no-go at that RRP.
and this should be 130 max anyway
ayy lmao

I once read the actor who played him didn't smoke in real life. Never verified it, but always remembered it. Also, good thing LEGO didn't include it, despite how much of a character trait it is.
The set looks nice, as does the GWP. I do feel the GWP should've included an additional alien life form.
Oh, and has anyone commented on the price yet? I feel like we need more people complaining about that.
It looks amazing! I can't wait! A definite Day 1 purchase for me. (But will have to MOC in a Tooms like the original had...)
I like this set - the original was significantly better because the spaceship was not just a pancake. My main gripe is Scully's suit colour. While she is 99.5% percent of the time in a navy blue or black suit, they decided to put her in a brown suit. I think I also prefer the alien's head from the cmf series 6 8827-1 (but this one might be more accurate from the series). Still, I will get it when the GWP is available despite the outrageous price (even including a gwp) - since Lego hardly ever do any Ideas sets I like, I suppose I will vote with my money when they do.
Why does this remind me of the Tree Tots Pop Up Treehouse?
I've seen some episodes and at least the first film but that's about it. I remember really enjoying the episode [Drive] where a character is, "suffering from a mysterious ailment that causes severe inner-ear pressure, and he is forced to drive due west at high speeds to relieve his symptoms and keep his head from exploding." Apparently, that episode (along with many others) was written by Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul.
I like that LEGO appears to have kept to the spirit of the original Ideas submission, where possible. I feel like this should be a Day 1 for me (especially with the great vignette GWP), but to be honest, I probably would prefer to finally pick up a couple sets off my wish list like 10335 The Endurance or 72050 Luigi.
I have been waiting for this set to be officially released since I saw the leak. Aside from the absence of Tooms, I love it, even the price is cheaper than I expected.
Scully wore brown suits alot in season one. It's great they got her to introduce the set.
Can't wait to build this.
We just re-watched the show for the first time a few months ago, it's still great, though it's hard to say where a good place to stop is as it slowly declines. It definitely holds up, at least through the movie. I would love to have this set, but I don't think I really -need- to have it. We'll see. Who can say no to Flukeman...
I will wait for a significant discount on this. Thankfully the GWP is not tempting. Had it been the lone gunmen, well then I would have had to get it.
“Cinematic mini film tribute”. Like an ad
I'll be honest: I never really cared for the X-Files all that much. That said, I do really like this set -and- the GWP. I might get this.
The price is out of this world!!

Whenever I stumble across the X-Files, THAT is the episode that's on.
Great-looking set and so glad to see Brent Waller get an official set! The price is indeed high, though at 13.5c ppp it's basically in line with other Disney IPs, most notably Star Wars, which suggests the price here is Disney's doing more than Lego's.
Well pretty much everything I wanted to say about this sets already been covered. Love that its pretty much identical to the original submission, hate the price, zero surprise they dropped Tooms due to the actor having gone very creepy in recent years...
Actually, nope, that covers it all. Will wait till it hits a discount before buying.
I have watched quite a bit of X-files back in the day and always enjoyed it, but can't say I remember all that much of it. Regardless, this does look quite nice, and fits the atmosphere of the show quite well. So design wise a win. If anything, I kinda wish they had incorporated the iconic X-logo in one way or another.
The price though....€200 for less than 1500 pieces seems rather steep indeed, and when you see it right next to the GWP, it's not all too big either. And the fact that pretty much every decoration besides the "The truth is out there" and maybe the "I want to believe" tiles seems to be a sticker doesn't really help either. Still I might be tempted to buy it if can get it at a good discount.
Oh, and it obviously should have included a Sound Brick with the X-files theme!

Are you kidding? I own the DVD box set. And I once entered a Galoob contest to recast the OT by picking characters from the show.
I'd pay £20 for the GWP, it's neat.
The back side of this set must be ugly, not a single photo of it. The most surprising thing for about this reveal was reading the comment section to learn that there is a full X-Files movie. Somehow it didn't registered in my memory even though I watched the og series when it premiered. Weird.

Two movies: (1) The X Files 1998 7.0 star (if you want to watch only one movie, this is the one to watch) (2) The X Files: I want to believe 2008 5.9 star.
Edit: Apparently, another (2nd, 3rd,???) director's cut is coming in August 2026.
The GWP is nice but there should definitely be a body on the table.
Finally, a Lego FBI set!
The £180 price is perfect... for August's 4 upcoming Botanical and Speed Champions sets... sorted!
Looks like all I want is the sticker sheet.

There is a 360 degree video on the Lego website......though just when you get to see the backside, it massively speeds up. They clearly don't really want you to see it ;-)
But honestly, I can't really care about that, and would consider it kinda a waste of pieces if it would look good from the back (considering it is Lego we're talking about, they would make you pay for it....). And unless you display it like with a mirror behind it, no one is ever gonna see.
The truth is out there. And the truth is LEGO is pricey! (and I've heard the argument a million times how much it hasn't increased compared to 30 years ago and blah blah blah. That doesn't change the fact that I'm needing to spend money right now on things, not 30 years ago, so it is still expensive for right now for what it is).
With that out of the way...I've only seen a few episodes (the suburb HOA episode with the sewer monster? and the one where they go into the video game and that dude gets his arms cut off) and the movie. I know very little about the IP otherwise. The set looks neat and if it was considerably cheaper, I'd consider picking it up.
Maybe if I binge watch the series and fall in love with it, I'll pick it up because at that point I'll HAVE to!
Who is the guy with the grey hair?
It can’t be ‘Cigarette Smoking Man’ since he isn’t smoking a cigarette.
I love the article about hidden frogs.
@HOBBES said:
"The GWP is nice but there should definitely be a body on the table."
The GWP comes with Anson Stokes!
If you pause the video on the Lego website and scrub back to the beginning you get a pretty good look at the back. It’s mostly a smooth grey wall with occasional interruptions for connections or details you see on the inside. Nothing special, nothing terrible.
Also, I don’t care. I’m not looking at the back of a set like this at any point after building it and finding a nice shelf for it to live on, barring dusting incidents and so on. I have a very nice mini Nanoblock Sagrada set that has some quite nice (and fiddly to build) detail at the back, and it hardly ever matters because I don’t put it on the shelf facing backwards, and even with the set being considerably smaller and lighter and easier to pick up and rotate than a large Lego display model I’m just not doing that very often.
I was too young for most of the X-Files’ first run and unlike my slightly older sibling never either went back to catch up or got into the later stuff (I found the Terminator 2 guy alarming as a hero), in part because unlike them I never developed a massive waiting-outside-the-stage-door level crush on Gillian Anderson, so most of the Fun References here are entirely lost on me. Still, it looks nice and I hope it makes fans happy.
Why guys.
Why long time collectors keeps saying on every single model.
It's too expensive, it's too expensive.
For the young collector. Lego has ALWAYS been expensive. Don't listen to these guys.
It's that Lego doesn't give you a range anymore, from the same theme.
Like a $10 -$15 set, to a $20 - $40, an $80 and over a $100. All within a theme so you can enjoy something from said property.
If you truly want it, save for it. Wait for that Amazon sale and save, and in a couple months, you'll have it and enjoy it a whole lot more because you sacrificed something, you worked a little more, etc.
Much more satisfying.
And don't let the bozos tell you it's better with Aliexpress and the like. Those knock off brands pay their workers extremely low wages, no medical, no vacation time or pay, long hours and they use often teen labor. There's a whole human rights study on this.
@jkb said:
"The price is so not okay"
I've saved some money recently because the current releases are bit boring for me. So I can justify buying this one fot the price.
For The Cigarette Smoking Man, you can get a nice cigarette element from MinifigCo.
I bought a couple for my WW2 figures.
The X-Files is one of my go-to old series that I've re-watched several times. So I have been waiting for this one, anticipating that it would be expensive as always. But man that price is especially rough. I see now why most sets with a specific subject like this are priced the way they are. Because this time I knew all along that I would want it early, with the GWP if there was one, not really caring about the price. I am willing to spend that bit extra, not to have it early, but to be able to get that GWP and to pay my support to the X-Files collaboration. It's not worth it for the product itself. But this is the one time when, for me personally, I don't care. That's a horrible realization.
Looking at the actual design though, I'm surprised by how similar the final set is to the fan submission. I was expecting a total redesign of the layout, as the fan submission seemed to rely too heavily on artificial light effects to look good, otherwise being basically a dark cave. But I think this works well, the basement office was always quite dim. As was the entire show really, playing into the overall spookiness.
Now, as a first-timer for this kind of thing, is this a "place your order at midnight or you're bust" situation? I'm kind of guessing it is.

Interesting! I re-watched that episode recently and only then realized that the guy who's head is about to explode is played by Bryan Cranston. Not a coincidence then!
The Gift w/Purchase shouldn't be this generic lab.
It should've been the 3 Lone Gunman figures and their lair or better their van, with some gadgets and computers in the interior.
Way more tempted by this than I expected to be since I don't really remember more than a couple of episodes of it... A very nice set, shame about the price!
@RTS013
I don’t think you should feel bad about it. We've all got things where we feel extra fannish about it and it changes our mental perception of what something is worth. Maybe it will just help you understand why other people feel about sets differently sometimes! :)

Is the GWP “officially” an Ideas set too? Can’t see the branding anywhere unlike the Goonies GWP…
At first glance the office appears to be densely packed with many fun details. But looking closer I don't see anything special. The printed parts, trophy, and microfigs are common and boring. The best details are the stickers.
I hope it satisfies everyone who ends up buying it. I'm skipping it, I expect I would be disappointed.
I really like this.
I suspect I probably won't add the spaceship as it seems necessary and a little ugly (yes I understand it was in the original submission, that doesn't make it any better and was always a detraction) the aliens were always fun, but it was monster of the week that made X-Files peak back in the day.
I certainly like it but I'm still surprised Lego greenlit this set, it even includes some of the creepiest elements from the show. I mean the GWP includes a freaking autopsy table...
At this point they might as well make sets based on the Alien franchise too.
@Vindicare said: "that price is laughable. The minifigs are great & the build looks really good but it feels like you’re *paying* for the GWP instead of getting it for free here"
Isn't that precisely cause that's what you do? In the GWP article (https://brickset.com/article/125874) some while ago @Vesperas mentions how the price of the GWP is baked into the set price, you're paying for it no matter if you get it or not. There seems to be a pattern where the difference between a set's initially rumoured and actual price tends to amount to the value of the set-specific GWP. As he says: "Anyone that buys the set at full price but doesn't receive the GWP is just being straight-up ripped off".
With 1478 pieces this set should be around $150, or 1500kr here. With the GWP, 1700kr may be justified. But no, the price here in Norway is 2700kr either you get the GWP or not, close to twice what's reasonable.
@legoDad42 said: "The Gift w/Purchase shouldn't be this generic lab. It should've been the 3 Lone Gunman figures and their lair or better their van, with some gadgets and computers in the interior"
I'd say the opposite - the only good thing about this GWP is that you won't miss out on much if you don't get it. Imagine the frustrations if The Lone Gunmen was only available as a short-time GWP (which many would miss out on even if they ordered in time). Missing out on something like that often feels worse than it not being available at all.
I want to believe I can afford this.
I really hope these suit torsos are freely available and used for other figures in themes such as modular buildings.
I dont know anything about the IP but the set looks good and as others have said its good it appears to have mostly stuck to the IDEAS submission.
shamefull GWP use from lego here
I am a huge X-files fan so this set should be for me, but it isn't.
The set looks ugly as the office looks like under a forest. Besides that the price is out there and it's absurd.
Hard to imagine these days but back in the Nineties there was quite a rivalry of fandoms.
You were either Team X-Files or Team Star Trek.
I was on the latter.
And even though I watched and enjoyed the movie (and own it on DVD), I have never seen a full episode of the show.
So even if the price wasn't as ludicrous as it is I would probably pass on this set. It's not bad but it just doesn't do anything for me.

That great promotional video
Love the video, If I as an X-Files fan, that video might changed my mind getting it.
I get the appeal of the office, I really do, but I feel like the ideal X-Files set was just the forest part with the TriFO. Even overpriced, that would've still been in a price bracket where the hit to the wallet's something I could pretend didn't matter, and I probably would've gotten the set and replaced the heads with Space Police aliens and the Grey with a regular minifig to recreate that one episode of Babylon 5 Crusade.

I realise I'm a grump and had low expectations already, but this is pretty meh for me, I'm afraid, and the price is ridiculous."
He'll always be cancer man to me
Wowie! Another 100$+ nostalgia-bait dust collector with a FOMO GWP? Lego you've truly done it again!
The Black Oil sentient alien virus element (nice parts usage) is a good touch.

Yep! Preordered! Can’t wait!

"Why guys.
There's a whole human rights study on this."
Gobricks/Lumibricks/Phantasy are great quality, and have great care about their workers actually.
Almost Blacktron...almost.
Yay another borderline unethical GWP and this time it's also pretty good...
Pricing is also pretty bad
Cool sets tho!
easy pass,...it's been like what? 50 years? Please, move on...

The point is that LEGO should not have to be THIS expensive, especially when comparing it with legitimate alternative brick-building brands....
There is a difference between making sure everyone gets decent wages and plain and simple greed aka: we can charge what we want just because...

Don't waste your breath.
Fanboys aren't interested in facts and logic. LEGO is always right in whatever they do. Don't ever doubt that and don't mention legitimate alternative brands. Everything not from Billund is knockoff and cheap tat from manufacturers that use toxic materials, slave labour and stolen designs.
*rollseyes*
Please can we keep to topic. Personally, not sure about the need for the office. I would prefer just to have the secret underground alien experiment lab which disappears when the duo arrive at the end of the show. Also need a few more aliens, half-open one on operating table, others trying to save them with blasters etc. I don't remember the invisible man with the bandages, but maybe an alien memory wipe.
might put my ET dimenson figure in the woods
Kinda love this, but the price is putting me off buying it straight away. Love the build for the UFO but it's a pity that it doesn't up in some way for a neat little easter egg or something
Never seen the show, but I did appreciate the shout-out in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Trials and Tribble-ations," with the Temporal Investigations agents Dulmer and Lucsly. Anyway, no interest in the set, but I want that gray alien minifigure to go with my 8827 and 71046-3. I also notice that the stand has a 2x2 round brick and tile at the top; I'm guessing that that means the saucer can spin around.

@RTS013 said:"Now, as a first-timer for this kind of thing, is this a "place your order at midnight or you're bust" situation? I'm kind of guessing it is."
Yes, it is. Some GWPs sell out more quickly than others, but if you truly want a particular one, then you should get your order for the associated set in as fast as possible.
@BelgianBricker said:"easy pass,...it's been like what? 50 years? Please, move on..."
Try thirty years; the series ran from 1993–2002. You young people are so bad at math...

Yes, before *another* comment section gets shut down prematurely.

"When I saw the piece count, I presumed it would be €150-€165. That's a bit of a difference really. It doesn't seem like a €200 set. I'm glad I have quite a few points built up so I can take a big chunk out of the cost."
Seriously?
Of course you can do whatever you want with your money but:
Insiders points are also YOUR MONEY, you PAID for them, so NO - set is not cheaper because you used points. Everyone who pays for overpriced sets at premiere is kind of responsible for stupid pricing. Everyone who bought ASAP sets like Death Star, Pokemon Trio etc. Lego learns that they can do that if fandom is strong and push boundaries even more.
This set is max 150€ (consider pieces, figs, license, TLG need huge profit, etc) end of story.

"Hard to imagine these days but back in the Nineties there was quite a rivalry of fandoms.
I watched at least one full episode. Someone killed a guy by forcing his body to produce human pheromones, which we don’t naturally produce. Except we do, but we think they smell bad because we’re constantly showering and bathing them away. So I determined that their science was even more factually unsound than Star Trek’s, and stopped watching.
Adding some facts to the discussion, this is the second highest PPP (USD) for a licensed Ideas set going back at least 5 years. There certainly seems to be a discouraging upward trend for PPP, at least in Ideas.

From CNBC, and Business and Human Rights Resource Center:
Chinese toy manufacturers, including those producing Lumibricks, have faced allegations of serious human rights abuses, such as forced labor, excessive overtime, and unsafe working conditions. Investigations have highlighted that many workers are subjected to poor pay and lack proper safety training, raising significant concerns about labor rights in the toy industry.
Forced Labor: Workers are often compelled to work under duress, with little choice in their employment.
Excessive Overtime: Employees frequently work beyond legal limits, with reports of up to 175 overtime hours per month.
Unsafe Working Conditions: Many factories fail to provide necessary safety training and equipment, exposing workers to hazardous materials.
Poor Pay: Wages are often below legal minimums, with some workers earning as little as 46 cents an hour.
Lack of Rights Awareness: Workers are not informed about their rights or the dangers of their work environment.
Impact on Workers: The conditions in these factories not only violate labor laws but also endanger the health and safety of workers. Reports indicate that many employees are unaware of the risks associated with toxic chemicals they handle daily.
Understand now?

Is that based on the original $250 MSRP, or the pandemic-inflation adjusted $300?

And now we know how certain brands can provide sets with fully-printed deco instead of relying on sticker sheets, and still come in way under TLG for PPP. Overhead’s cheap when you eliminate payroll from the equation.

Direct source? Particularly regarding Lumibricks. I searched with Google for the sources you mentioned yet came up with nothing.
Unless you can provide a proper source I have to assume that you simply made that up.
Thorsten from Johnny's World has several videos of him visiting Chinese manufacturers, and even though most of them are several years old even back then conditions don't seem to match what you describe. And going by how fast these industries advance it is only reasonable to assume that conditions will have further improved since then.
Also, who says that conditions in LEGO factories in China are any different from others. Have you been there and seen for yourself how things are?
Please bring it back on topic or another comments section will need to be shuttered. This is not an alt brands article, an alt brands site, or an open forum to litigate world problems.
Then just delete the (parts of) posts that fuel that discusssion. False allegations only to justify high Lego prices should have no place here either.
(because indeed Lumibricks wasn't mentioned in those articles. Lego was, but they denied. End of story?)
