More 2015 images on the LEGO server
Posted by Huw,
LEGO is gearing up to start selling the January sets and has added a lot of images of them to its server today.
Images of most Star Wars sets, DC Super Heroes and a lot more are now available and have been added here for your viewing convenience.
This Tusken Raider, from 75081 T-16 Skyhopper, looks splendid, doesn't it, and it's surprising it's taken 13 years for it to be updated. The last version of one appeared way back in 2002.

The Tusken Raider does indeed look excellent. I was concerned the head would be oversized, but it's just right. Only a shame that only one is included in the set!
^Pretty much my thoughts exactly. I know a lot of people won't like the moulded head but I think it works on the Tusken - slightly over sized, but so were the heads on the costumes in the films.
How had I missed before that we were getting Sebastian in Ariel's castle?? Must have!
Ooooh and the new sitting UniKitty either has a double-sided head or (as it appears from the picture) a second tear-filled expression. Fab.
Now drooling over the new DC minifigs, they look awesome. I particularly like WonderWoman, Green Arrow, Scuba Robin, Cyborg, Brainiac and Supergirl.
Hopefully we will get a Bantha later in the year?! After getting the new Cantina and seeing the new Dewback, I want more Star Wars creatures. The new Jabba is awesome. Lego has really upped their game in regards to beasts, creatures and Dinos. Bring'em on!!!
Looks like another great year ahead! Now if everyone can stop buying City Police sets to force TLG to make something different, we'll have an even better year!
I can't wait for more Superhero sets, but surely I'm not alone in wondering WHY DOES SUPERMAN NOT HAVE RED BOOTS?????!!!!!
They've managed to successfully create Supergirl, but Superman still looks wrong as long as he has just plain blue legs. I might add some red 1x1s, but then he'll be taller than the others.
Anyone else agree?
Just noticed that wal-mart.com has all of the new Star Wars sets in the US. I just ordered most of them. Cant wait to get them, should be here before Christmas! Here is the link if anyone is interested! http://www.walmart.com/search/?query=lego%20star%20wars&page=6&sort=new&cat_id=0
I do not like the new Tusken :( but the new Hulk! And the new movie sets are cool too!
@lostintranslation: Amazon us has multiple pics of the Double Decker Couch set. You get two 1x3 printed pieces for Unikitty

@bezley I don't think it would look bad to have Superman on 2 red 1x2 plates. He's usually taller than everyone else anyway.
The 75081: T-16 Skyhopper has a bad aspect ratio. Strange that there are no large sets, in the £100+ range.
Boy I shouldn't have sold my old Tusken..
I looked at the old Tusken Raider and I'm surprised at how good that one actually was, even by today's standards, although this one looks pretty darn awesome as well.
@hardwax I've noticed the first wave of Star Wars sets in any given year are usually low to moderately priced, with the larger and more expensive sets arriving in the summer. I presume this is because everyone's wallets have taken a good battering between all the Christmas shopping and post-Christmas sales. :)
I like the old ones still. I like the Lego heads way better than the molded heads. But this guys torso and legs are great.
I'm really confused, are the DC sets coming out January or April?
It may be something that looks better in person however. Also , I could always just buy one of the old heads , or say 'chieftains have more intricate robes on their heads to identify them'.
Maybe someone mentioned it before, but those new dishes on the TIE prototype are pretty sweet. They've got handles on them! That's just a straight up hatch piece! While the size is a little large, maybe they'll come in 4x4 and 3x3 eventually.
But even so, this is a great development for tanks, SHIPs, mecha, and any number of submersible craft.
