Welcome 100,000th member!
Posted by Huw,
At 06:26 GMT this morning a major milestone in Brickset's history was reached when zigbull in Canada joined the site and became the 100,000th member. It was only 8 months ago that the 80,000th member joined and 12 months since the 70,000th joined. At this rate of growth we may hit 150,000 by this time next year.
Does this make Brickset the largest online community? No, but by my reckoning it's the 3rd largest, after the official LEGO community which doesn't publish member numbers and BrickLink, which currently has about 343,000 members.
So, welcome aboard zigbull, and welcome to everyone else who's joined recently.

Congratulations! :)
Well Done Brickset
Euro bricks has around 130000+ members. Its the only one I use other than brickset for discussion of Lego topics.
Unless there is a way to hide yourself from the Eurobricks member list at http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?app=members&module=list , I make it 20 members per page x 1865 pages = 37300 members.
cool!
^^ i did but as you can see at the bottom of the page over 1000 a week are signing up at the moment so it happened sooner than anticipated.
Wow, that's pretty impressive. I wonder what percentage of that is actually active users, and not old accounts?
I published stats about that in the related article below.
I personally think that you should give zigbull a prize or something. I mean, 100,000 people! It's a lot, man.
P.S. please see my reviews.

Yay for 100K! And I'm on the 2nd largest site too, yay.
@Andrew85: A good percentage of those 130,000 are inactive, banned, or robots.
Congratulations Huw and the brickset team.. You site has taught me so much since becoming an AFOL a year ago.. Keep up the great work and a great way to start the new year!!!????
@ brickman3
I agree. Give him (her?) some prize. Or diploma.
If they comment here I will do!
Welcome on the best site dedicated to LEGO stuff !
Well deserved. Fantastic site.
Back in the day, we used to award Timmy heads (see 6491) as a prize. Perhaps a bucket of those?
Congratulations Huw!
Well done, I must say this is the best website of them all.
Congrats Huw!
As for the prize, how about sending him/her one of those Brickset minifigs? Wouldn't that be appropriate?
I love this site and visit daily. The information is great, the photos are beyond compare, and the other visitors are generally pleasant and helpful.
