Clone Wars instructions now at LEGO.com

Republic Fighter Tank

LEGO's Customer Service building instruction page now includes instructions for the Clone Wars sets. It surprises me that instructions often appear on there before they are available in the shops, but I guess it at least lets us see what's in the set and whether it's worth buying or not.

I am told that they will be released on July 26th in the USA and the LEGO brand stores will be opening at midnight!

I've just picked up a 7673 magna droid fighter here at my local store in Ireland. There was about a dozen of them on top of the shelves and an assistant helpfully got one down for me. None of the other new clone war sets were within sight but needless to say I'll be keeping an eye out for them over the next few days, especially when the new Argos catalogue launches next week.

I noticed that these sets are advitised in the recent lego club magazine. the minifigs look cool. Assiji Ventress needs some work though. If everything works out, I may get all 4 for x-mas and b-day! I might njust need to buy the last 4. They need to put the prices out soon. I also hope its in the $200 price range for all of them. If they are limited editiono, It will be a problem, becuase people will buy it like its water!

P.S. bought a x-wing fighter at the Lego Store in CA. Those were supposed to be discontinued for months!

I've now posted a review of the Magna Guard Starfighter 7673 over on Eurobricks. I liked the build and the completed set is robust. The droids look very well and are made of plastic not rubber for those who are curious.

Has anyone noticed minor differences between lego set pictures on the box and the actual lego set? Just slight things mostly concerning the stickers. For example, has anyone who bought the Rogue Shadow had stickers in thier set as shown on the box art? Also I bought Anakin's Starfighter cheap today and noticed from comparing the box to the model found that the imperial stickers on either side of the cockpit had a dark blue background on the sticker on the box and on the model had no background. Perhaps this is being pessimistic, but it seems that the item on the box does not completely match the item inside. Maybe Lego are using preliminary pictures in the box art before the item is manufactured on the production line. Who else has noticed this?

The droid gunship i found in woolworths for &163;35. which looking at it doesn't seem that worth it really. it has just 3 droids and the missles can be dropped by twisting a knob and they shake off

The set doesn't come with 4 clones because the instructions(on-topic) point out that it only comes with two.

I've now acquired three of the Clone sets from Smyths Toys stores here in Dublin, Ireland. The new sets are also available in Argos (UK and Ireland) catalogue from tomorrow. Prices are as follows (all in euro - someone else can post Stg&163; prices from UK version of catalogue)

AT TE 104.99 (Argos) 99.99 (Smyths)
Gunship 119.99 (both Smyths and Argos)
Magnadroid starfighter 59.99 (both Smyths and Argos)
V19 Torrent 73.99 (Argos) 74.99 (Smyths)

Not sure why the last set is more expensive than the Magna droid fighter. I'd have thought it would be the other way round.

No, dfenz, the v-19 has more pieces than the magna guard starfighter.

ANYWAYS, waterjedi17, the first four clone wars sets are going to be released tomorrow on lego.com and everywhere else. Also, the seperatist spider droid and twilight are going to be released tomorrow, but exclusive to toysrus. I guess there going to be available on the lego website too. I'm not sure about the other two sets cause apparently someone already has the droid gunship and has posted a review of it. I hope this answers your question.

I say that the only clone wars set that isn't overpriced is the droid gunship. I mean, why couldn't they have done that with the other sets. Here's what I think the prices SHOULD be for the new clone wars sets:

7673 Magna Guard Starfighter $39.99(not $44.99)
7674 V-19 Torrent $49.99(not $54.99)
7675 AT-TE Walker $79.99(not $89.99)
7676 Republic Attack Gunship $99.99(not $119.99)
7680 The Twilight $89.99(not $99.99)
7681 Seperatist Spider Droid $19.99(not $29.99 or $34.99 at toysrus)

As for the Droid gunship and fighter tank: the droid gunship's price is absolutely perfect and I think that TLC should be nice and make the fighter $50.
