LEGO is gearing up to start selling summer releases and has uploaded images for some of them including City Deep Sea Explorers, City Space Port, Agents and Creator.

Expect to see official images of the summer Elves, Super Heroes, Minecraft and Star Wars sets any day now. They are also due out in June, in Europe at least.

Meanwhile The Brick Show has revealed and reviewed another Deep Sea Explorers set, 60096 Deep Sea Operations Base which will be a 'hard to find' set available in selected retailers across the world.

Wow, that's a nice jet!
But still nothing from The Force Awakens :(

Changing Seasons - get out of my wanting list!

The 'Space Starter Set' looks like a nice, easy way to get some good astronaut gear, especially the helmets.

Come on F40, lets see some pics.

I had a hunch that underwater base would be a set... glad to see it and cannot wait to buy a whole bunch. Loved the diver sub theme when I was young.

So... no Pirates?

Wow, that Changing Seasons is such a blatant rip off of the Ideas submission.

For shame, Lego, that one didn't even have licensing "issues" to hide behind.

I am so sticking a black nose on that jet and calling it Thundercracker.

@DanRSL The log cabin Idea? That's all I could find from a brief search. Seems pretty different... and even with what similarity there is, one failed project on Lego Ideas shouldn't mean a concept is suddenly off limits for the Lego designers.

Anyone else notice the pictures added for the Spideman Juniors set with Green Goblin - it shows the rear print on GG's head is a frowny face! Love it!

Too bad there won't be no minifigure sized Speed Champions. Perhaps it's just me but I think it's one of the best new themes they pulled out in the past years. Just 2 new cars would've made me happy already!

But boy the Creator jet looks nice...

@ DanRSL, so you didn't realise that was the entire point of Ideas? Crowd source design concepts with absolutely no guarantees of anything being made, or any credit given, even with 10K votes.

FYI, The summer Ninjago sets are almost definitely due out in Europe on the 1st June, and not sure if the Elves sets aren't due out until August (given the last wave landed in March) :o)

Love the jet, and the new shuttle.
And further proof LEGO can't make a decent minifig-scale snowman if their lives depended on it...

That jet looks so like Thundercracker that for a moment I thought there might be a Lego/Transformers crossover... which would have made it another very expensive year!

I absolutely love the Deep Sea Explorers line. There's just something about it thats different and fresh compared to a lot of the other recent sets. It might even be the colour palette that they've used. The dark blue, combined with the yellow is wonderful.

Now, to devise a way to display the ship, shipwreck and under sea base together.

Any idea when the Deep Sea Explorers line is set to be released?

By in Canada,

@DanRSL: Because of course no LEGO designer is creative enough to come up with such a simple idea on their own. Clearly the only way for designers to come up with ideas for new sets is to steal them from fans. It's not like they're hired for their ability to generate original ideas or anything... 9_9

I made a LEGO Star Wars AT-TE when I was a kid, and when they made an actual set of it in 2003 I joked that LEGO had stolen my idea, but it astonishes me how many adults can continue to make such accusations in complete seriousness.

Dat jet though...

Deep sea explorers still has a slot left for number 60094. Another retailer exclusive maybe? Last year the arctic line had 2 retailer exclusives (the plane and the icebreaker). So what is still missing?

^ polybag?

Oh boy, another deep sea series. I'm always a sucker for those.

Nice creator jeep!

By in United States,

"Changing Seasons" fits perfectly in your standard town layout, and you can rebuild it and move it to your Winter Village.

By in United Kingdom,

Can't wait for the UK prices for all these sets

By in Australia,

Am I the only one who sees that jet as Thundercracker? No? It'd make a heck of a combo model if combined with another creator set.
