Reminder: Free LEGO with the Daily Mail starts today
Posted by Huw,
Don't forget to collect your 30311 Swamp Police Helicopter at WHSmiths or Morrisons today when you buy the Daily Mail.
The free LEGO offer continues until next Sunday. Here's a BrickList of the sets that will be available.

Got mine! Now, what to do with the daily mail it came with..
Just pick up set 30303 at Morrison's Stockton-on tees.
Collected. Papers straight in the recycling
Yes. I got mine okay today. :)
A nice little build, but obviously restricted by the number of parts.
According to my source, any spare ones are going to be sent back to the warehouse each night.
So check with your WHsmith to see if they are keeping any for vouchers brought in the following day.
This is why England is better than America. Free Lego... with the newspaper. England was almost as good as America, in my opinion(you can't think a foreign country is better than your own, unless you've got an oppressive, evil government, and I don't beleive those conspiracies), no offense to Britons(?), but this is too much. England is better.
Most of these have been on retail sale in Belgium at €3.99 each so it's a very good deal indeed.
Last week the Daily Mail said that we could pick up the polybags at Morrisons, WH Smiths or Easons, but today when I went to Morrisons to get the paper, it said only WH Smiths were distributing the polybags. I'm disappointed because while there is a Morrisons very close to where I work, all of the local WH Smiths are thoroughly inconvenient to get to from my workplace and will be closed by the time I finish work, so I'll not even be able to get one of the leaflets with the new postal address for this promotion. I tried to get a leaflet with Saturday's polybag from the WH Smiths nearest my home on my weekend shopping run, but the manager said they aren't allowed to give the leaflets out until they run out of the polybag stock.
I'm a sucker for Lego helicopters and I love these little polybag ones. I usually prefer my helicopters with windscreens, but I still think this little guy is pretty cool.
By the time I'd bought the paper and driven and parked in city to get to the WH Smiths I'd have forked over more than its worth. Less stress and cost if I saved my money and went to ASDA to take advantage of the discounted Collectibles or Star Wars microfighter sets.
The Irish Daily Mail's not running this promotion unfortunately. I've just been to Easons in Dublin and they didn't know anything about it and there's nothing in the paper about it. At least I didn't have to buy the Mail!
Was told Morrisons weren't doing it this year, had to buy the paper anyway but was very disappointed! WHSmith is a pain to get to but thankfully mum is a member of the DM so she can spend reward points or some rubbish -- last year we got a big box full of polybags.
@LordofLego, OK England is great, but what about Wales, Scotland and Norther Ireland, which is also taking part in the promotion?? The UK is not just England...
The small print in the paper says Sundays toy is also available from Morrisons (as well as WHSmiths). It's a shame as well as less convenient that Morrisons don't have all of the polybags.
Went to Morrisons, Five Ways, Birmingham today and they are doing the promotion. I didn't check the packet until I got home and it was The Joker Bumper Car. Happy with that! Daily Mail recycled.
Ended up with TWO today. My WH Smith didn't cut the voucher out so I went back and used the voucher and nabbed another one...will be giving it to my Girlfriends 5yr old Nephew as he loves Lego too. I already own 30313 Garbage Truck which I bought from ebay UK for £2.99 with free postage a few days ago but hope to get it with the paper for my Girlfriends Nephew too...I also want the Demolition Driller, Jokers Bumper Car, Tractor (which I plan to MOC so a figure can sit on it) and perhaps the Creator Off Road Vehicle...
Went at 4:30 to Beaumont Leys WHSmith and 3 boxes left. Paper binned!
Went to my local one at Bluewater, and the staff member told me i could buy a maximum of 5, without buying 5 papers. So it only cost me £4.50 to get them!
Disappointed at the lack of 2 Star Wars polys, but at least there's one so it's not all bad. Wonder where (and if) the A Wing and TIE prototype polys will turn up in the UK soon.
Important note! The Stormtrooper Sergeant polybag was available in Beales department store last week in Bournemouth, as part of an extended May 4th promotion. It might have been covered somewhere but I thought I'd mention it!
Edit: I'm not including Netto stores in my first paragraph because I'm several hundred miles from one so it might as well be in another country.
The TIE Prototype poly bags were done as MMB's in UK stores during the May 4th week promotion
Ah I see, thanks, I thought there might be something I missed, shame I virtually never visit any brand stores. Still, there's that Joker Bumper Car next!
Manic at WHSmiths in Whitely this morning. huge queues thankfully i was there early - with mixed emotions.
i only wanted and got one. families were there with their three kids picking up three copies which was fine, i guess it is for kids at the end of the day, but when you factor in picking up three or 4 copies of the daily mail at a staggering £1.60 each, you question whether it would cheaper just to buy discounted lego at ASDA or something.
the set itself if brilliant and worth the wait. great SNOT technique and the hidden wheel underneath make it extremely playable.
Just picked up my Joker's Bumper Car! Yay!
^^ I cycled down to Whiteley (1/2 mile from me) at 11:10, saw the queue was round the block so went home again. Luckily I have a couple of Jokers already.
That's the trouble with Sundays: because the shop doesn't open until 11 everyone has time to get there for opening time. There was no queue at all at 9am yesterday...
@Huw - i didnt know you lived so close!
yes it was busy, i arrived at 10 thinking it opened then, so had to hang around for an hour. cant even go to the entertainer due to their sunday beliefs, my little one in her buggy was getting very figity whilst her dad wanted some free lego!
They opened a new "mini" WHSmiths a five minute walk from us last year. They open at 7:45am on Sundays. Bought four copies of the DailyFail much to the surprise of the bloke behind the counter. Straight in the recycling with the paper and home with the polybags!
The address to send the vouchers off to is on HUKD now. It's:-
FREE LEGO TOYS
P.O. BOX 5000
Dept .L.T.P
Alton
Hants
GU34 9BX
One voucher per household, No photocopies, must be received by June 5 2015. Voucher must be completed in full.
There seems to be some confusion over Morrisons' participation - the small print in the paper states they're only carrying the Sunday polybags, but the Daily Wail's website makes absolutely no mention of this. Has anyone found Monday's polybag at Morrisons?
We went into Morrisons yesterday to get Mondays, but they said they were only doing Sundays one, we looked dissapointed so she agreed to give us Sundays if we wanted, so got 2 joker bumper cars (that we'd missed on Sun) Result!
I'm off to WHSmiths at lunch time to get the princess one for my daughter if I can.
Do you need to include payment if you are using the postage method?
I got 10 toys per day by buying 5 papers from w h smiths, then taking the voucher in the paper to another w h smiths and getting another 5. Hours of building fun
