Aanchir is in Billund for the Inside Tour. He's been checking out the local shops and has uncovered several sets that were hitherto unknown to us: 40155 piggy bank, 40153 Birthday Cake, 40156 Friends organiser, and 41109 Friends Heartlake City Airport, which was not shown at the toy fairs earlier in the year so, presumably, will be a 'hard to find' set when it's released elsewhere in a month or so.

Obviously at this stage we don't know where else they will be available.

Update: images of the 40xxx sets have been found on LEGO.com so it's fair to assume they'll be sold at shop.LEGO.com in due course.

Love the pig. A classic toy with a LEGO twist. :)

Friends Airport looks great too. I wondered if we would get something like this to go with the new Grand Hotel.

If anyone is interested in piggy bank I can get it for you for £30 posted to UK and Europe. Or less, without a box. Sorry for advertising :)

By in Germany,

Two Friends airplanes this year?! Yeah my daughters Heartlake City will have to have the airport...

By in Canada,

Too bad the piggy bank isn't pink. It looks like it's skinless, especially since it uses sausage pieces!

the pig is cool. wish it wasn't red though

@npgcole I wonder if it may be to appeal to chinese audiences with red = good luck

By in United States,

These sets are packaged like other LEGO store exclusives. Hope that means they'll make it over to the US! Gotta have that cake, it's hilarious!

By in United Kingdom,

I saw the Piggy Bank and the Cake in the Milton Keynes (UK) brand store on Sunday. I'd have bought the pig if it was pink, but it wasn't, so I didn't.

I did buy red and blue upscaled mugs - they're not really very big, smaller than a typical mug, but are very expensive for just a plastic beaker. They're 10x LEGO size. 20x would have been more interesting. A more realistic 40x though would make them as big as a bucket!

They also have new key-rings of the collectible clockwork robot and gingerbread-man minifigures.

I was in the Milton Keynes store on Friday, and they had the first 3 sets you mention. I did not see the Friends Airport though. The Jester has no legs.

Oooo I wonder if I'll find any of these at LLCA this weekend!

The Friends Organiser was in the Watford store on Saturday.

The piggy bank looks awesome, though it seems a little messed up to use sausage pieces for eyebrows. I guess he's still all pig, though... :P

Something tells me that the Friends Airplane pieces are going to be used in exactly one set...

By in United Kingdom,

Haha - didn't notice the sausages! Genius!

By in United States,

I'm glad that the Heartlake City Airport's plane is going back to old pieces like those used in 7893-1, and in vibrant, fancy new colors too.

I've got to get my hands on one of those piggy banks. Living in Arkansas it looks so much like the Arkansas Razorback team mascot. At least, for it not intending to be, it looks perfect. Red color and all!!!

A pig with sausages for eyebrows... now that's hilarious. I'm in

@SprinkleOtter: If you mean that the Medium Lavender parts are unlikely to appear again in that color, you're probably right. But if you're referring the molds in general, most of them are the same airplane pieces that have been used for larger City planes since 2006.

My brother and I visited the shop at LEGOLAND Billund again today and marveled at that set for a bit. The airport is a little bare-bones, but the plane itself has a pretty detailed interior, even with only three passenger seats. There is a flight attendant area, a serving cart, and a bathroom. Having just been on a long flight the other day, I can't help but appreciate these amenities!

By in Australia,

Aww man, those cups. Wished LEGO made adult sized mugs for AFOLs too. Hope the LEGO design team are seeing this. Fill those surveys and let LEGO know that there is demand for Adult cups too!

@Aanchir
Thanks for the updates. Hope you are having a blast in Billund for the LIT! Glad your twin went, too!

@KooLaiD
I was thinking just the same...GO HAWGS!

By in United States,

I also love the airport. I'm pretty sure that wasn't there two weeks ago when I was at the LIT; I would have remembered it.

By in Germany,

I've just spotted the airport and some more of the new friends sets (#41103, #41104, #41105) in a german toy shop near Frankfurt. And also the Mixels Series 5...

I was in the Liverpool store today and saw the piggy bank (which is quite substantial looking) and bought the birthday cake, which is quite fun. Didn't notice the other items but I'll be back there tomorrow so will try and check the others.

By in United States,

Wait, Heartlake City has it's own airline? Does that imply that there are multiple airports in that small town? What a waste of resources and time.
