GrooveBricks has been sent an image of 75096 Sith Infiltrator, which is said to be scheduled for an August release at a cost of 99 Euros in Europe. It appears to contain four minifigs: Anakin, Watto, Darth Maul, and Qui-Gon.

I've never been a fan of LEGO versions of this ship and this one doesn't look like it will make me one.

That really doesn't look worth 99Euros...it just looks like a pile of grey. not very nicely finished...

By in United Kingdom,

Much like every LEGO Sith Infiltrator, then...

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Oh come on... Not another one of these! Especially one which looks as awful as this one does. This is minifig scaled version number 5, if I'm counting correctly. Is there even a viable market out there for any more PT sets?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It's a bit like the Prototype Tie Fighter with a big handle.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

To be fair, it is the best version of the Sith Infiltrator so far.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Not another one?

At least the first one made for a decent parts pack when it got heavily discounted...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Is Qui-Gon's cape fabric looking?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

All in all pretty mediocre, but new Darth Maul looks great.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Ridiculous set. Only buy this if you're an MOCer - the only thing it's good for is parts.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

2011's looks better in my opinion. I could have done without this; there are so many other sets LEGO have never done.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Nothing new, even the minifigs look like ones we've already scenee though I suspect they will have slightly different printings.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I think Qui-Gon's cape definately looks wooly and a different material than the usual fabric capes.

By in United Kingdom,

I'm really starting to fall out of love with the Star Wars sets and as a lifelong (38 years) fan, that pains me... Its just overpriced grey with little imagination into the Minifigures... Not happy :(

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This certainly looks to be the best Sith Infiltrator yet but I don't think the vehicle is very well suited to a LEGO model. The studs at the front look rather awkward and I don't like the speeder bike, but otherwise I think it's as good as it's going to get.

Still, I wouldn't pay over £59.99.

By in Lithuania,

Nearly every star wars set is a pile of grey. I'm not sure what is wrong with this model. Seems normal to me. Can't comment on the price, but it does look like it has some detail and not just a few bricks used.

By in United States,

For some reason I've always wanted a Watto minifig. This one doesn't look any different than the one that came with the last pod racing set. If nothing else, this set will help drive the price down on Bricklink for a Watto to around $4. Yes!

Gravatar
By in United States,

If the price per piece isn't too bad, I'll probably pick it up just because I've never gotten any of the previous models.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Aside from the front end and the obscene price, this looks pretty good. The figs are more detailed and the speeder finally looks right. I'm loving the new probe droids. But if they had done the 2011 route with the plate-built hull and actually put that on the underside, it would be perfect. A bit of modding and this would be great. But all those light and dark grey slopes are UGLY.

They must be joking ...

By in Australia,

I'm amazed there's another version of this but still no Nubian royal starship. I think the 2011 version of the Sith Infiltrator was better than this.

Gravatar
By in Czechia,

Why Maul cannon have long lightsaber, when Dooku or Inquisitor have special ones

Gravatar
By in Germany,

boring, again a Sith Infiltrator, only after 4 years

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Why? Just why?

Gravatar
By in {Unknown country},

Just as always, highly overpriced in Europe. :(
LEGO should start thinking about making the prices more reasonable in Europe, instead of making another Sith Infiltrator.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yeah, I've got to agree with the majority of comments. It's the best Sith Infiltrator yet, but realistically speaking, what is that saying? At least it's better than the last one.

I suppose that the ship is sort of difficult to render in LEGO, but it still looks hideous. Mismatched light and dark bleys? Just not very attractive. By the way, has anyone yet figured out why we've gotten at least three versions of a ship that was onscreen for around 5 minutes or less? How about an actual Mon Cal Redemption starship.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

this is exactly the crossing between the 2007 and 2011 version, but with other minifiures.

Gravatar
By in Zambia,

why isn´t it possible to keep some minifigures rare? Was it really necessary to place Watto in this set? As far as I can see they only changed the color of the hands (former grey). Let´s wait two or three years and there will be a new Queen Amidala and Max Rebo for sure. Why did I already spent so much money for them? There are so many new movies coming (Star Wars 7-9, Rogue One, etc.) and for sure new series, too. Enough material to build new sets out of it instead of building the past... Outside from a price-perspective, even if you´re a collector, for what reason should someone buy his 4th Infiltrator?!

They never ever produced Lars Homestead, but always those boring stuff...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think that the model looks pretty decent, but I've never been a fan of the ship itself. Going back to 1999, it always looked like an abbreviated TIE fighter with a long X-Wing/duckbill fuselage stuck onto it. It is interesting that we are seeing this, the Flash Speeder and sets with Gungans being released in what seems like it might be the twilight of the Prequel Lego era. To echo what others have said, where is the Royal Naboo Starship? That would have made a great parting gift.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

CapnRex beat me to it. £59.99 and no more.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm sad that we keep getting new versions of this, while other star wars sets go noticeably missing... (ex: Geonosian Arena)

Gravatar
By in United States,

How in the world did the quality of this set go down since the last one that was made?

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Only want Watto, guess I will Bricklinc it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why another of this ship? There are so many things that haven't been made once, let alone as many times as this ship has. Why can't we get the Naboo transport ship that brought Amidala to Corrusant? (unsure of its name, but it was very sleek and chrome)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why not remake Jango's Slave I or the Bounty Hunter pursuit with Zam Wesell. It would be nice to get sets we have never seen or haven't seen in a very long time. The sets looks good it is just disappointing that it is a set that has been remade so many times and no special minifigs with it either.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It looks exactly the same as all the others so what's the point?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Meh.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

Everyone complaining about too many versions of this ship should be grateful as it appears Lego skipped one last year. http://i.imgur.com/13sTbB5.jpg

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That's this one.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This... looks exactly like the one before it.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

Joefish look again, the nose is less study and the cockpit roof is completely different. It looks like a leaked pic of the prototype model.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the look of the ship from the movie but am saddened that attempt after attempt, Lego can't quite do it justice. Wish they'd stop trying... not sure they'd be able to get it right for anything less than a UCS version (now that I'd buy in a heartbeat).

Gravatar
By in Canada,

16 cents per piece in US, 4 minifigs... Ouch!

I wouldn't have any issue with this starfighter if it didn't come with any other minifigures like the original one from 1999. After all, this set is supposed to be all about Darth Maul. Sure it does look better but as a "spy" starfighter, I don't see the point of "missiles" or anything else. It's the fourth version and, at this point, this should have been an UCS. Watto is completely useless to this set (I would have seen him in a new podracer set, again, like in 2012 when he was redesigned). At this point, include Obi-Wan Kenobi but, again, you're forced to buy the Naboo Starfighter and a second Anakin... Good move, LEGO... NOT!

The Speeder Bike looks spot on honestly but we've never seen the Sith Infiltrator enough in the movie so that is not a memorable ship at all. Even Gasgano's Podracer... or Mars Guo and Ben Quadinaros... had more screentime than Maul's ship. I would have seen this Speeder Bike and Darth Maul in a polybag and I would have been happy to buy it. This is probably the most pointless set since the most recent AAT... Wow... Even the most recent version of the Imperial Shuttle (Tydirium) looks better. At least, you can use the Shuttle for your Empire army and recreate the Emperor's arrival! What can you do with the Sith Infiltrator?

What could have been a set instead? Yoda's house? New podracers? A better version of the TIE Advanced X1 with the new Vader? Owen's house? Tusken Raiders on constructible Bantas? The carbonite chamber with Lando like the Cloud City set? Or how about the meditation room for Darth Vader? Most of the important scenes and ships has been done by LEGO already. The latest set that is not a remake but an expanded version of an already existing set is the Death Star Final Duel.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

magpie9, it is this years set, you can see the imperial assault carrier at the top of the picture. Personally I like the 2007 version the best as a ship, but even then it was not particularly accurate. LEGO please listen to us fans and make sets based on ships and scenes that have NOT been released in the past 10, even 6 years.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I never got the 2011 one because to me it didn't look right. So for me I'm pumped! I think the ship design looks perfect. This can be released any time now thank you.

By in Finland,

I said earlier on the forum that this is kinda an ep.1 theme year. I was right even someone disagreed. :) AAT, Battle Droid Troop Carrier, Flash Speeder, Naboo Starfighter, Sith Infiltrator...
tell me a year when there were as many ep.1 sets? Around the early years of lego SW (1999-2000)
http://brickset.com/sets/theme-Star-Wars/subtheme-Episode-I

And what comes to the Sith Infiltrator, I don´t wanna know it´s price around here. The last one cost 80€ here so this is supposed to be at least 110€. This is the point where I don´t find any clever reason to buy this with RRP even I don´t have the earlier versions.

I´d like to have a Sith Ilfiltrator but maybe I´ll just MOC one or try to find a cheap one from eBay. This one looks okay but it´s not worth my money. I still understand those completionists who gotta buy it the day it arrives to the stores.

Possibly this will low the prices of the 2011 version on eBay/Bricklink?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think it looks better. I might be swayed to buy it depending on price. But it looks to be too expensive for what you get. I don't have Watto or Maul surprisingly, so that's an added bonus, and I like the Qui-Gon addition since he was wearing that poncho thing during scenes at Watto's. But I don't see how they add much to the set in reality.

But these things must sell, otherwise LEGO would quit making them, right? I mean, SW is so established, I'd think they'd notice if sales started sinking.
