Official Scooby Doo images

Posted by ,

It's not long now until the highly anticipated Scooby Doo sets hit the shelves across the world. While we wait for the August 1st release date, take a look at the official images of the sets uncovered by Hoth Bricks.

I'm not sure where they came from (as is often the case the site has not attributed its source) but they are not on the LEGO server yet as far as I can see. I will get them added to the database here when they are.

These are from Amazon.

OK, cool, thanks. Amazon.co.uk still has placeholder images, I see.

By in Puerto Rico,

These do indeed look great, but my wallet is happy as they are not my style.

By in United Kingdom,

Velma minifig looks awesome. And the pumpkin head guy

By in Canada,

I hate Scooby Doo, its awful, old and a bad move for LEGO.

By in United States,

Not convinced on the humans or half the vehicles, but the structures and villains are very cool. Amazing how '70s they make 2015 LEGO look isn't it...

By in United States,

Geez, spoiler alert. They're showing pictures of the villains unmasked... :P

By in Poland,

Pumpkin is the winner of this whole series.

By in Canada,

I love that there's a sandwich in every set.

Let me fix that for you:

I love Scooby-Doo! It's awesome, topical, and a great move for LEGO!

Can't wait to get 'em!

By in Belgium,

Makes me wonder if the Monster Fighters theme was released to check the potential value of paying for the Scooby Doo licence.

By in United Kingdom,

I think these look like some of the best sets of the year so far and they will definitely be finding their way into my collection!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

They've been on Smyths Toys website for at least a week now!

By in United States,

I have the lighthouse set right now
I found it at my LEGOLAND but I went back too LEGOLAND today and they were gone

Awesome. Mystery Machine is a must have, don't care for that weird tree stump it comes with tho. The Pumpkin head is def the stand out mini fig.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'll let the weird tree stump hang out with my LEGO Groot and Treebeard.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I want the whole theme!!! :)

By in United States,

My kids just filled their Christmas list. I hope there are some scooby doo poly bags.

By in United States,

Mostly silly fun, but the lighthouse looks very nice and the mystery mansion has mad Batman crossover potential. Cool.

By in United Kingdom,

Wow, I love these even more now than when they were initially announced. The double face on the bad guys is genius, particularly the knight with the wonky glasses.

Great stuff from Lego!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I hope Amazon gets the rest for preorder soon.

Wow, a lot of new and differently coloured elements. And it's good they've found a way to repurpose Balin's beard. The headless horseman looks amazing as do pretty much all the villains. Although lego once again has made that annoying move of separating every main character throughout the sets, making it essential that you buy them all.

By in Greece,

Though a Scooby Doo everlasting fan, i must succumb to my pirate nature and head for the (rest of the) pirate line first. Mystery van is awesome though, plane too, lighthouse and pumpkin guy the same... i... must...resist... meh, who am i kidding...

By in United Kingdom,

I'm not that into Scooby Doo but some of the sets are appealing without the Scooby characters/vehicles as extensions of the Monster Fighters line.

I particularly like the Headless Horseman and zombie minifigs. Might have to get those on the secondary market if I don't get those sets.

Love them all... Day 1 buying the whole theme

Gravatar
By in United States,

No Creeper :(

By in United States,

I've seen a bunch of these hit eBay all across the US. Anyone know what stores have put them out? None to be found in the San Francisco Bay region I've checked.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Really? You don't know where the images came from? BestBuy.ca has had the product descriptions for a couple months and Amazon US released those images about 2 weeks ago. the descriptions vary between the Amazon US and Best Buy CA sites.

By in Czechia,

Have you guys noticed a picture of Johny Thunder in 75900 Mummy Museum Mystery?

That is a nice touch!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@theJANG, we had reports of them being sold at LLCA a week or so ago.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Huw thank you sir!

By in Germany,

I went to Legoland in Günzburg Germany and they told me that the Scooby Doo Theme got cancelled for their August delivery and they don't know if they get them at all.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

@Sinthoras - and they're not in the German catalogue... I don't think we're getting them over here. And this hobby is already not cheap, importing them is insane for my part.

By in Singapore,

I guess the castle is a buy and the either Fred separately or the Mystery Machine set. The Scooby characters could make a nice edition to the Haunted House.

The villains are cool but between the Monster Fighter creatures and the upcoming Halloween theme mini figs I can likely live without them.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yeah, this just looks like a more colourful (and less appealing) Monster Hunters. The pumpkin headgear thing looks great for making a certain Marvel villain though...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hope these show up in target early like Jurassic world sets

Gravatar
By in United States,

FYI in the USA you can pre-order these on Amazon now. I think the mystery machine in particular will be hard to find, so I went ahead and pre-ordered it. Limit of 2.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Scooby sets were said to be sold at San Diego Comic Con last weekend, too. A ton hit the auction sites.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I thought we had these a while ago?

Gravatar
By in United States,

These are some of the best licenced sets that I have ever seen.

Gravatar
By in United States,

No scooby snacks?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

^I know! Really disappointed that there are none :(

The only thing I don't like about these sets are the amounts of stickers, especially on the Mystery Machine. It's frustrating but unavoidable.

I agree with some of the other posters, it's really good to see the double sided face for the unmasking. Being quite a fan in my childhood and having watched all the original three series, I can say that the villains in the castle are all who they were in the episode they appeared, a nice touch by Lego.

Overall really looking forward to these :D

By in United States,

I saw 2 Scooby Doo sets at Lego Land Atlanta at Phipps if you're looking.
