Friends Advent Calendar Review: Day 6

Posted by ,

Happy St Nicholas Day!

The Friends advent calendar gift today continues the theme of winter sports, containing a pair of purple skis, medium azure ski poles, and a magenta helmet with white goggles. The set also includes a pink flag on a pole, presumably part of a slalom ski course.

Accessories like this are always very welcome and can add detail to winter scenes or even a model of a sporting goods store, for example. Some of the parts are also quite rare: the purple skis only appear in one other set (Elsa's Sparkling Ice Castle) whilst the medium azure ski poles have been used twice before.

I think this parts pack is quite useful and as it also contains uncommon parts, I give it a score of 4.

I like. Now the girl in the white cardigan can go skiing without a coat. :)

I love how "outdoorsy" this year's Friends Advent Calendar is. It really helps to set it apart from last year's, which focused more on indoor sorts of subjects.

If you go on the website www.lego.com/friends it gives you alt build instructions for the bits received so far.

What do I click on when I get to www.ego.com/friends to unlock the content / get the alt build instructions? I have a six year old going bonkers excited to find it and I have no idea what to do! Thanks for any help!

Thanks so much - found it! Also - just wondered if you notice the helmet doesn't fit on the girls' heads without taking off their hair?

I received an extra pair of goggles and an extra ski pole - nice in case one gets lost
