The Mighty Micros contest is now closed
Posted by CapnRex101,
Thank you to everyone who entered our Mighty Micros contest, which is now closed. There have been several hundred entries submitted during the last few weeks and a panel of judges will soon be narrowing these down to just a handful of winners.
Last week we interviewed Super Heroes designer Justin Ramsden and he will be assisting in the judging alongside a number of regular Brickset contributors. Hopefully we will be ready to announce the winners by the end of next week.

Oh boy, here we go!
Good luck to all...
Lol, forgot about this contest, oh well, Ares isn't a very popular a DC villain anyway.
There were so many awesome entries. I was kinda late to submit, so by then all of the obvious ideas I had had been done really well by others, the only unique idea I had left was "Vee's Demolition Cart", which I hoped would fit under the "comic book character" heading even tho he is neither DC or Marvel obviously. But it was the only decent idea I had left. Good luck to all, judges are gonna have a tough time deciding I'm sure.
No!!!! I was about to submit :cry_sad:
Oh man! I built and took pics, but didn't have the right account set up. Figured I'd do it after I put my daughter to bed, forgot it was based on across-the-pond time. Oh well, next time!
Good luck everyone!
Man, almost managed to submit a nice Metallo car before it ended! Still, I'll be interested to see who wins; there are some really incredible entries in there.
What happened to the "reveals" and "surprises" and the article on Spider - Man and looking over old Super Hero sets for the Super Hero month theme?
What @SandMirror38 said! I was really looking forward to reviews of rare and classic Super Heroes sets and the Spider-man lookback. What happened!?
On a more positive note, I'm really looking forward to seeing who the winners of this competition are!
I can't wait to hear about it in the coming days!
Good luck everyone!
I managed a few entries, hopefully at least one catches the judge's eye.
Fun contest! Thanks!
There were some great entries here - I was a bit late too and got kind of put off as what I thought was my nice off-the-wall idea was already done to an extent and I was put off - some great creative magic here though, and having Justin be a judge is a brilliant addition when the winners know they were assessed by a real Lego professional!
Great contest! I had fun Designing my entry. Hopefully there are more similar contests to come.
"So the staff didn't win this year? :-)"
This was my first time entering. Do staff win often?
I submitted my entry on Monday; I initially designed it during the first day of the contest and revisited the design several times until I was happy with the outcome. I ordered several additional copies of the two new core elements for the Mighty Micros concept. I hope to design others soon as it was a very fascinating and challenging task to create a vehicle with very limited space. It’s pretty awesome that a LEGO designer will be a part of the judging panel. Good luck to everyone who entered!

It's a great design but weren't we supposed to choose characters that didn't already have a MM set? Batman was done with Catwoman :(
Have they announced the winners yet?
The suspense is killing me! Just announce the winners already!
Is it today? Is it today? Is it today??
Yeah, I'm excited too! Such anticipation!
And to the person above, yes, the Heroes who already had a Mighty Micro set were not supposed to be used.
The anticipation is brutal!
