Rogue One minifigures revealed?

Posted by ,

In the last few minutes LEGO has published an image of the Rogue One cast in minifigure form on their Facebook page. This rendering recreates the promotional shot shown last summer.

We cannot say for certain whether these designs are representative of the official minifigures but it seems likely as there seems to be a realistic combination of new and familiar printing.

You can compare the original image with the LEGO version after the break...

Keep an eye on the homepage today for an exciting product reveal relating to another licensed theme.

Sure hope those are just mockups. I expected new hairpieces and more new prints.. not Sabine's face and Han's legs.

They look alright, though. Picking up the AT-ST if it looks good.

Can't wait to see what the product reveal is. If it's what I think it is, don't know too many people who will be happy.

Nice! I hope the Jyn Erso minifig ends up looking like that and there's a new hairpiece for her.

There's another person in the live people scene that was missed in the Lego Minifigure version. He's a little hard to see, but he is near the ship part in the background.

I'm hoping it's just a mockup, as although they've done a decent job w/many existing pieces and a few new prints, many of the colors don't match up at all.

I can't wait for them to be evenly distributed amongst all the SW sets forcing collectors to bag all the rather expensive RO sets.

still, minifigs look good!

@Snickers I really am interested in the two asian guys on the right. It's a shame that they didn't give the armored mongol guy an armor plate because I think that would have worked. Something akin to Batman's armor in the Clash Of Heroes set would work for him.

In the trailer, are the stormtroopers manning the Landspeeder wearing different helmets???

Looks neat but to be honest I will most likely be only buying the AT-ST and the Imperial Landspeeder if they do indeed turn up. That blind man (the one with the stick and blue eyes) could have fooled me into being a Imperial Instructor and I will be aiming for him depending on both the price and quality of the set.

does that guy left from jyn erso have a new hair mould that attaches the goggles?

Yay! I hope they make a new cape design for the white suited admiral

It looks like a podracer turbine, but I don't think it's Sebulba's. It seems like a generic turbine from any of them really.

I'd like to know who's th guy at the utmost right of the picture. He seems to be a martial artist. Is he sensible to the Force, as well?

Lol before I saw the original image, I was praying the guy in the blue jacket holding the gun wasn't Chris Pratt...

@Mirakle
the blind man is supposedly a blind Jedi Master played by Donnie Yen which would be awesome but isn't confirmed yet.

Awesome!

What's quite interesting is how little all these people except Erso seem to appear in the trailer. I can only assume that their names or a lot of the things they do might be spoilers, such as the Jedi suggestion above. I'd still like to see a real life Kanan, Ezra or Ahsoka pop up in the film though. Nice to see all the detailed jacket prints in the promo image, it seems TLG are following the gritty aesthetic at least a little.

Huh! I wish the sets were priced a little cheaper then they are now. I could use a smaller 20 buck Rogue One set. The blind dude looks sweet

Those figures look awesome... Asian dude's figure does not have a good hairpiece though. Loving how well the figures capture the grittiness of this film.

Can't wait for dat AT-ST, if the figures look like that, it will be even awesome-r!

Yeah I will be happy if the lineup is what the Capn described. I'll buy the Landspeeder and AT-ST and wait for the battle-packs.

I do not see anything for Rogue one posted yet...

Same here. I'll get the two cheapest sets, if they are the landspeeder and an AT-ST or some other combination of ground vehicles. I hope the blind man is in one of the two cheaper sets.

@Grishka @monkyby87 It's actually an engine from Clegg Holdfast's podracer.

In the Lego version, they just used one from Sebulba's.
