If you have been paying attention to the recent changes to our database, you will have noticed that LEGO has updated their online cache with hundreds of images of most of their upcoming product releases for the summer of 2016; including but not limited to Star Wars, Super Heroes, Mixels, Nexo Knights, Ninjago, Elves and so much more. You can take a look here if you have not already done so.

Furthermore, the updates brought to our attention the existence of a new Friends retailer exclusive set to be released soon: 41132 Heartlake Party Shop, pictured here, is an expansion of the Party subtheme introduced in January, and it looks very colorful and fun! Judging solely by piece count, I'm guessing it will cost around $20.

The LEGO summer release schedule has been fast approaching. While many retailers have already been stocking some sets early, you will be glad to know that shop.LEGO.com and brand stores will officially have the new City (including Volcano Explorers and 60134 Fun in the Park), Creator, Duplo and Juniors sets available tomorrow (May 22nd)! Other themes are being saved for release in June and August.

Additionally, the store calendar for July 2016 has been revealed...

The major releases for July are 10253 Big Ben and 75828 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 & Ecto-2 but 5004419 Classic Knights and 30350 Volcano Jackhammer will also be available with qualifying purchases. The VIP early release on the 14th should be 10252 Volkswagen Beetle.

By in United States,

I can't wait to buy the RV and something else for the Fountain promo in June. July promos aren't the best and won't be purchasing anything from Lego in July.

Strange that Heartlake Party Shop doesn't utilize the new inverted dome piece that Angry Birds introduced for balloons.

By in Canada,

The classic knights set looks really cool. The castle sets I had as a kid had the same symbol on the shields as the knight in that set. Early 1980s?

By in Finland,

I'm disappointed with the party shop. It uses pieces and accessories that can be found in other (better) sets and the shop doesn't look all that great in general, mostly a mish-mash of pieces.

I neeeeed that classic castle set!

That classic castle set is hitting all the nostalgia marks. That was my favorite theme as a kid.

So, when exactly are the new Star Wars sets being released in the US? June 1st? Or later?

LEGO really seems to be phoning it in with the Friends $20 sets, they are really bland. The Vet one was OK, but nothing special. Same with this party store. It's good for pieces and a basic store front, but that's it.

By in United Kingdom,

Your comment about Brand Stores having the new sets available tomorrow, which countries does this involve? It can't be UK, as we haven't even had the full assortment of new sets arrive in store yet, that won't happen till Friday.

I'll have to hunt down the Party Store, I'm relieved to see that it has things for sale other than hair bows, which the earlier subtheme had nothing but.

Regardless, this gives me a great reason to go to the LEGO store today!

By in Netherlands,

Huh, I thought the VIP program only offered timed exclusives, not complete exclusives? Guess I may have to get in on it after all...

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ Nope, it is timed. It's only released EARLY for VIPS. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough!

By in Netherlands,

I was the one who wasn't clear enough. :) I neglected to mention I was talking about the free Classic Knights set, which does seem to be explicitly labeled "VIP only".

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh, sorry! Yeah, that set is only for VIPs.
