Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Dimensions Story Pack revealed

Posted by ,

The new autumn/winter Argos Catalogue is out today in the UK and as usual it contains many new LEGO sets. I have not been to my branch to pick up a copy yet but the team over at BricksFans has and found pictures of two Dimensions Story Packs -- Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Ghostbusters -- in it, which are due for release in November and September respectively.

The one based on the film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's book comes with Newt Scamander, Niffler and Macusa while the Ghostbuster one contains Abby Yates, a mini Ecto-1 and Zhu's Chinese resturant.

Apparently they will cost £39.99 and will feature a six level story campaign.

Check out BricksFans for a closer look.

By in United States,

Looks very nice! I do wish Lego were releasing a Fantastic Beasts theme, though.

Wolverine claws in flesh! Nexo shields in dark brown, lots of golden embellishment pieces. Looks quite interesting to me and seems pretty fairly priced at £40 as it is almost like adding an extra game onto the pad, but with plenty of Lego. Isn't the niffler just a large mole?

okay, the niffler is adorable, we can all agree on that right?

@ The_Chosen_1- I think it would make perfect sense to make a "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" theme. Very excited for this though, I will definitely pick one up.

Reminder sets were also confirmed by the Dimensions Press release

^ Reminder sets? Or did you mean 'remaining'?

^It should be 'Reminder, sets were also confirmed...' :-)

The level pack looks absolutely fantastic! The niffler is adorable and I can't wait to see it in the movie, and I really love that this adds a whole new game to Dimensions. I can't wait to see Dimensions continue to grow like this in the future.

Also, fingers crossed for actual FBAWTFT or Harry Potter sets!

By in Ireland,

I thought Nifflers looked more like spiders than moles. Do they appear in the regular Harry Potter movies at all?

Whatever that mole thing is, it's parts would be good for the mole kaiju from Ultraman Max.

Excellent Parts and looks great. I could see this turning into a Lego theme.

Could it be that those panel things on both ends are action features? It looks like they can rise.

By in Spain,

Really cool and well designed set. That price, though...
I'd love to see this theme in normal Lego sets, as I came too late to enjoy the Harry Potter ones :'(
If the film is good, I'd not doubt in buying "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them" sets.
LEGO, plis make them :)
