Get your Caterham 7 signed at the Great Western Brick Show this weekend

Posted by ,

The UK's largest and longest running LEGO show this year takes place this weekend in Swindon, UK, which coincides with the release of the LEGO Ideas 21307 Caterham Seven 620R.

The set will be available to buy from the official LEGO store at the event and the project's creator, Carl Greatrix, who is a regular exhibitor at the show, will be there and will be happy to sign boxes or instructions for you. Furthermore, Caterham Cars is bringing a real 620R car to the show so you can admire the LEGO model and the real thing!

I will be at the event so if you are attending do come and find me. I am not exhibiting this year but will be helping Darren run his Gizmocom shop in the trading hall for part of the weekend.

You can find out more about the Great Western Brick Show and buy tickets here. I look forward to seeing you there!

Our review of the set will be published later today.

John lewis (UK) has been selling this set for the past week (in stock as well). Very strange that they are selling it before the release from lego.

^^I hope it's RRP is not £79.99. I've heard from two places it's £69.99, even that is a little extreme compared to the other Creator Expert large scale vehicles. Those have at least 300-400 pieces more than this.

Neat! Sadly I won't be there, cuz I live in the US, and I don't even own the set.

I need a review of Jyn Erso.... can't find one anywhere. :P

Headline should read "Get your Caterham 7 set signed and sell it for loads of money on eBay" :-(

I'm pleased to say that I am aiming to attend and experience the GWBS for the first time! I will try to find you Huw but will also keep an eye out for anyone Brickset-y that I might recognise. I will need to come prepared to pay for the Caterham and a larger Rogue One set!

^ In previous years we've produced name badges for Brickset attendees but I've been doing so much travelling over the last month that I didn't get time to this year, unfortunately.

@Huw I hadn't heard anything about the badges and saw you were busy, so am currently crafting my own for tomorrow. See you then.
