LEGO sets for Toys R Us' Bricktober promotion are notoriously known for being quite generic and unappealing. However, one of the next appears to be quite the opposite!

5004939 The LEGO Batman Movie Minifigures has just been revealed and includes four brand new suits based on The LEGO Batman Movie. There are noticeable gaps in the set numbering, so more minifigs (TLBM or not) are certainly expected.

What do you think? Excited to pick one up come October?

Can't wait to get one, hope its £9.99

By in United States,

When will the barrage of TLBM themed sets end? My wallet can't take anymore!!!

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Hey people want more roman Stuff!
People also love Batman.
Yeah Roman Batman!

ehh. I like that Batwizard though.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm confused by this. I really want the Batman Bunny, but just thought we would get him in the second Batman CMF series in January. How many Batmans are there?

Also the thing will be $20 which is just too much.

By in Australia,

The green one with the money print looks interesting, as does the wizzard guy. Not so much the Roman Batman or the Bunny Batman.
Not that I will be able to get any of these anyway (even if they do come to Toys R Us here in Australia, past experience is that I would need to spend more money at Toys R Us than I can justify spending after all the stuff I have bought recently)

By in United Kingdom,

Quite like All four,
But nothing beats rock guitar and rubber duck batman.

By in United Kingdom,

How does Bricktober normally work - are the sets just for sale or are they free with a spend of £xx?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I really hope the capes are made from the softer fabric that doesn't crease.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ In the USA they are free with $50 or $75 purchase, there are 4 different ones, one per week.

The past ones have also been for sale for $20, a few might have been $15. However these will probably go quickly and we will all need to just by the $1.50 knockoffs online. :)

By in United States,

AWESOME! They keep coming out with great stuff for TLBM. However, my two boys 5 and 3, destroy the figures from playing with them so much, I'll need to buy two of everything!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Do we have info/pictures for any of the other Bricktober sets? If they are producing one for TLBM, perhaps they are also doing one for TLNM.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Can't wait to pick these up!! Way better than some past Bricktober promotions.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Wow, that's awesome!!! And a free set to boot. Just great, excellent idea. Hope there is one for Ninjago movie, I suspect there will be. And maybe some older CMFs from The Lego movie??? We can only hope...

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I NEED this! They look awesome! Are they usually available in the EU or only in the USA? (I just moved to Germany and would love to be able to get these)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well, looks like I have to expand by Batcave Break-In Batsuit carousel to fit these. Darn!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

That looks like two of four

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm picturing how perfect Money Batman will look behind the manager's desk in Brick Bank :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yeppers I'll pick this one up for my oldest. Betting it will be $19.99. Hopefully, there is a promotion that month and it can be had cheaper or for free (if you spend enough $$$).

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

So scrooge mcduck (mcbat?), easter bunny (batty?), merlin and a roman soldier... I'm gonna pass

Gravatar
By in Norway,

I see LEGO keeps milking that movie!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hahaha, Bunny Batman. That Roman soldier Batman will be leading some leagilns I suspect.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

Ooooh. Must have! :-)
But my Batman minifig cabinet is already full... :-(

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Are these JUST in the US, We had nothing in the UK in OCT for ages then we seemed to get last Years Bricktober in TRU. The last lot I thought you could just buy..... then after I bought them they were free but seemingly any from 4 ?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Buuunnnyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

~or~

Bunny Bunny Bunny Bunny Bunny Bunny Bunny Bunny BATMAN!!!!!

Really like these. Excitement levels are building. :o)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Roman Batman???? I really hope that means they might come out with more Roman figs. 3 isn't enough!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Time to rewatch the movie to spot these among the horde of suits.

Sure hope they release Reggaeman and Mariachiman.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ That one is culturally insensitive XD

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

How many wil be released? Because on the top it shows n°2 off 4???

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ If so, let's hope one of them are the other Batgirl scene variants.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is exciting, but what's also exciting is that this one is labeled 2 of 4 at the top, implying that there will be three more sets like this! I figure they might correspond to different themes, and if they also feature entirely exclusive figures I will be greatly pleased!

Personally, I am hoping that one of the others is Ninjago/The Lego Ninjago Movie, and that another is City and maybe even includes unreleased characters from Lego City: Undercover. I don't know what the fourth would be... probably Nexo Knights? Elves would probably be a bit too much to hope for...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oooh, I love these. Been collecting as many versions of Batman as I can.
So we got the Bat-Money, Bat-Bunny, Bat-Mage and Bat-Centurion.
On my list!

Gravatar
By in United States,

BTW, anyone recognize the "money bats" on the left? Went back thru the bat suits movie sequence and didn't notice it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@quixotequest: IIRC that one was not on the rack of Batsuits, but rather part of Batman's pre-gala "tuxedo dress up party".

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Guessing this set will be about £9.99 given that its priced at 14.99 euros. Certainly like to add this to my collection, if just for Bunny-Batman and Bat-turion.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Is it me or is that the same "Money Suit" the same as the one Connor McGregor & Floyd Maywether have been walking around in recently??? Hahahaha!!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Thanks, Lyichir. Noticed it now. :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Definitely interested for once! Although I hate shopping at TRU and I know already I won't have 50-75$ worth of LEGO to buy to pick one up. But everytime I've gone in during October to inquire about getting one of these, they say they are sold out. Literally. Every. Single. Time. I go in on Sunday at the start of the promo and they claim they don't have any. So I never partook in this promotion.

I would be very interested in these, but I bet I will miss out on them and they will be ridiculous in the after market like a lot of the other promos, just because they are Batman. Which to be honest, I am getting tired of. The movie wasn't THAT good. It was decent, but it was missing something. And the sets are too wacky for me, just like these. So I don't know why I want them. I guess for my kid mostly.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

These look awesome and if we get 4 packs of TLBM minifigs that would be better than a new UCS MF

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

And scince the falcon droped, nobody looked at this article
Anymore

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Stuff the MF; that's a Roman Batman!!!!!! :-)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Love these!! I think the Batman movie is great and love that they are bringing out all these extra figures from it.
Much more exciting news than revealing a set which costs a fortune and has been made 10 times before. Can't belive I've only just found out that there is going to be a series 2 of Batman Minifigures. It's made my day!!
I'm easily pleased!!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

According to Just to Good another pack will be the lego ninjago movie. Not sure about the other 2 though

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'll have to wait and see.

Gravatar
By in United States,

If another set is the Ninjago movie, a third set could go back to the original Lego Movie. Perhaps another uni-kitty might be included? What would be the source material for the 4th set? Very exciting! And only a month away!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Awesome! Just have to find a reasonable TRU employee who isn't a stickler for the "with $$$ purchase" requirement.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Gimme-Gimme-I must have to add to my collection

Gravatar
By in United States,

@ecmo47: I doubt one would be The Lego Movie since unlike TLBM or TLNM, The Lego Movie is no longer a current theme. Part of the purpose for these sorts of packs is to drive sales of other sets, making me think it's more likely that they'd stick to popular ongoing themes.

Gravatar
By in United States,

When do these promotions usually kick off? Is it like, show up before the store opens and get in line? Any advance warning of which day it starts?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Checked today on the TRU system and the four sets are confirmed as:
Batman Movie
Ninjago Movie
City
'Minifigures' (no more than that yet)

Will be £14.99 to buy, no info yet on the promotion details though

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Just had an e-mail: European TrU offers these for free starting this week with offers over €40. Good way to order BB-8. So this week you get the TLBM figs

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm ecstatic to see we're going to be getting Easter Batman and Gladiator Batman. Slightly disappointed Wizard Batman won't be getting a new Bat cowl/wizard hat combo, but I understand it's a cost saving measure. Especially on account it being in a promotional set that Lego won't make as much money on. I don't even care about money suit Batman, other than the face printing, which from what I saw looks to be new from what I can tell.
