New Christmas magnet set found
Posted by Huw,
Summer is barely over but the shops are already full of winter clothes and Christmas gifts, including at LEGOLAND Windsor, where Jim K found 853663 Magnet yesterday, priced at £6.99.
It's the fourth magnetic Christmas scene to be released, and the first for 6 years. Unlike on the others, Santa is nowhere to be seen: instead we have a female and a snowman which, unfortunately, is just as awful as LEGO's past minifig-scale snowman efforts!

So the quest for the perfect Lego snowman continues! :D
Personally I think a white BB8 body with printed buttons, a white minifig head, and top hat, would be perfect for a Lego snowman.
The unsolved problem here is there isn't a suitably round part for a head that can accept any sort of spike for a carrot nose. There's a similar problem with bodies, though a 2x2 round brick with holes might help if only it was (a) in white and (b) so was a technic half pin...
I've seen better in the lego advent calenders and one that I made and I put a red
Scarf on it,
You'd think they'd use the unicorn horn piece by now... Or, maybe instead of a carrot it's an orange pepper!
Other than the snowman's nose, the set looks quite pleasant.
With a nose like that it's fair to assume that snowman is pleased to see that lady minifigure
How do we know it's a snowman? If it was a snowman the carrot would be somewhere else. ;)
I like it. I have the last Santa one somewhere, this will be nice when it's $2 after Christmas.
Well, this is a fun little set! :)
@paperballpark a bb8 body, minifig head, and bb8 head with appropriate printing might be the perfect solution to the lego snowman conundrum. either that or the possibility of a molded piece used as a costume for the cmf line.

That nose!! Snigger!
I can see a use for the printed tile though.

The snowmans kinda cute...
The nose is kind of terrifying, though, isn't it?
It baffles me why they didn't just re-use the orange unicorn horn (89522) used for Olaf's nose here.
