New The LEGO Ninjago Movie sets discovered

Posted by ,

Two new The LEGO Ninjago Movie sets have been found on a German website competition page.

The sets, Piranha Attack, 70629 and Quake Mech, 70632, are said to be released in December: I suspect they will be 2018 sets that find their way onto the shelves before Christmas.

By in Jordan,

The Quake Mech looks quite nice, but I can't say the same about the Piranha Attack.
I'm surprised to see Misako in both sets though.

Not a toy store, but a children's TV station.

Will the Quake Mech be able to stand on it's own? that wheel doesn't look very stable

^^ OK

I suspect that Misako is a placeholder - I’m fairly certain the Quake set at least will have Cole as the main ninja since he has earth powers.

By in Canada,

When I see the Quake Mech I am reminded of Transformers/Michael Bay/Bad movie...that something you don't want to associate yourself with.

@richl, Cole is in the mech itself.
The minifig lineup at the bottom is not complete because it's hidden by the graphic on the TV website.

SPOILER ALERT!

By in Spain,

Looks like a transformers version of the Doof Wagon from Mad Max.

This is an important vehicle from the movie and a major gap in the initial wave. The quake mech looks pretty cool, too.

Well, I saw the movie early on Tuesday. Ask me anything that doesn't involve spoilers.

By in United Kingdom,

I really like the Quake Mech. Looks similar to (as others have said) Demolisher from the second transformers movie.

By in Germany,

The Quake Mech probably comes with some sort of support stand for when you want to put it on display.

Piranha mech with slippers? I think I can live without that. That rickshaw and quake mech look quite interesting though.

The piranha mech and rickshaw build look great, even though fig-wise that set seems pretty skippable. That Quake Mech, though... I've gotten all the other ninja vehicles and am not about to miss out on that one!

PLEASE DO NOT POST SPOILERS IN THE COMMENTS!!!!

I plan on getting both of these! Weird how Lady Iron Dragon is in both.

By in United States,

I so want the quake mech and piranha attack, but the villains build in piranha attack is very interesting.

Am I the only one that isn't interested in any of these fish mechs at all...?

Another thug?

Misako looks great in battle gear, though

What I don't get is why is Kai in so many sets? I mean I know in the main line he is the main character but in the movie its Lloyd. So why is it mainly Kai in all the sets?

By in United States,

I loved the Demolisher design in Transformers so I totally adore the Quake Mech design. It's an instant buy for me and I'm happy that I still might get this year. I'm seeing Ninjago tomorrow and I am stoked!

So a rolling Ghetto Blaster, Piranha Duck, and Rickshaw w/Sports Car stuck on top... at least no one can say these sets are boring!

Ooh, I love that Quake Mech! Neato rickshaw too. Not a fan of the Spinner though, it looks kinda cheap and overly simplistic.
