LEGO has published instructions for a couple of sets today, 40253 Christmas Build-Up and the hitherto unseen 40254 Nutcracker.

Both will be gifts with purchase over Thanksgiving and the festive season. We'll let you know when we have more details.

LEGO has also published instructions for the UCS Millennium Falcon so download them if you want to see all the cool stuff at the front that we mentioned in our review.

Cool looking fellow. I'm keen to get him.

This little set looks really neat, but when I saw the highlighted 'UCS Millennium Falcon' my heart skipped a beat before I read the whole text.

I want it so badly! I login everyday, hoping to get some updates.

Quite charming. Would pay money if that was set on the shelf.

Speaking of the Millennium Falcon — I am still waiting for the final part of the review, where CapnRex101 "will discuss the completed model and provide his overall views on this enormous set". Is it missing or did I miss it?

Adorable! There's a certain $800 purchase I plan on making in the near future... I wonder if I can swing that, with this, and 2x VIP's... (assuming it's even in stock).

The Xmas build-up is quite good (except days 6 - what is that? - and 24) with a lot of diverse nice micro-builds. The nutcracker looks good. Whether it will be worth to pay full RRP to get these is to be seen. Most sets are discounted 25%+ at other retailers after a few months...

Does anyone know if the LEGO calendar will be a give away this year ? I managed to get one each year and enjoy having it on my wall. This past year coloring one sucked- frankly too much work. But previous years were great. Just want to plan out my holiday shopping since I will be picking up the winter train station.

I'll have to modify a clock onto Nutcracker Man's chest, and make him a statue for the town square of my Winter Village.

When the time comes, I will order the train station and get the nutcracker for free.

You would need to order the train station and a $20 set.

He's cute and looks easy to build from common pieces.

@Michel W: I would say day 6 of the X-mas build-up could be a Ladybird.

By in Germany,

^ Not much guessing required. It's the shape of a bug, the face colour is black, the body colour red, with black dots all over it. Matches your average ladybird pretty perfectly, wouldn't you say? Plus a ladybird as a traditional good luck sign, especially near the end of a year, fits perfectly into the theme of Christmas-build up. So much for "guessing".
