Friends Advent Calendar - Day 8

Heading into the second week of the advent calendar, we've met Stephanie and two adorable animals. There's snow sports equipment for all of them as well as houses for the pets. What does the second week hold for us?
Today we have another sled - thanks to the white space skeleton arm provided - that's meant to be attached to the rear of Stephanie's sled. This way Stephanie can take one of her animal friends along on her sledding fun, especially if they're tired.
I also found this sled to be relatively fragile - it would benefit from another plate underneath to hold everything together. But - at least it's another build!

A variation on yesterday's City calendar offering - more pieces but less robust... good job it only has to ferry tiny animals!
This year's calendar seems to be going well. It's all a matter of perspective - my daughter (6 1/2) has been enjoying it thoroughly. She was very excited to have the part of the sleigh this morning.
Interestingly, she thinks the Star Wars calendar's micro ships are kind of lame. She really thought the little weapon rack/toolbox thing this morning was dumb. Target audience, folks!
The Friends calendar does seem like the poor relation of the City Calendar, so far.
This would have been better with the City Hockey sticks as runners and/or all the brown pieces in Friends pale blue or azure.
The robot arms could also have been tan or brown. Lazy of TLG to use white ones which do not match the colour theme.
^^ Please no spoilers! I have yet to open my SW Advent Calendar and as a result, I did not wish to read about what was inside today's SW calendar. You could have instead said "she really thought today's SW gift was dumb". At least that would be spoiler free!
