Friends Advent Calendar - Day 10

Day 10 of the advent calendar already! So far we've seen a lot of sleds and animals. I'm guessing if you like Friends animals, you're loving this calendar so far. I have to admit I'm a little nervous about door number 10, as in many years past the surprise was a little accessory pack of either kitchen utensils or hairbows. So what lies behind number 10?

Today's build takes us in an entirely different direction. The black piece (which you can't see that well because of the angle of the picture) is a microphone. This appears to be to be a microphone stand - I don't think it's a stage, as it seems a little tall. Though I'm a bit confused - I thought Andrea was supposed to be the musical Friend.
I'm not entirely sure how this build fits in with the theme of the calendar so far, except that there's seems to be some kind of rule that there's a microphone and an opportunity for performing in just about every Friends theme. Why would this year's advent calendar be different?

Seems to me that this is a Karyoke machine, toy or the real thing? Such things exist. :)
Not a bad model, but thanks for the spare black microphones. The WV Station shows how they can be used to good effect.

I really enjoy the daily updates of the advent calendars - any chance of an overall pic each day too of the ‘story so far’ so we can see how they unfold in their entirety which can also be fascinating? Just a thought for something new!
