Christmas Build-Up: Day 10
Posted by TheBrickPal,
The last few days have been incredibly ambiguous in terms of content, so let’s hope that I can accurately tell what the model is supposed to represent today. I also hope that whatever it is, it impresses, as we enter the double digit days of the countdown!
There’s no guessing with this one - it is obviously a stall selling the likes of treats and hot beverages such coffee... or is it cocoa?
Better yet, a minifigure can sit behind it and take some orders from some hungry passersby! A simple wreath hangs from above and this completes a stellar little model.
Overall - 4.5 - I can’t find many faults. Things can’t get much better than this! Plus, it fits perfectly with 40262 Christmas Train Ride and 40263 Christmas Town Square if you own one or both.

No guessing? My first impression was a fireplace with a wreath and snacks for Saint Nick.
I thought this was okay.
However....
I found the double arch roof a little bulky.
There are plenty of options to make this one better and to add a table with seats.
Not the best model of the day.
that is a pretty high (seemingly waist level) fireplace. As stated in the review I like the continuity between the Christmas sets being two studs deep and this as well. The three of them look good in my Christmas setup and was a welcome inclusion.
Yeah I thought it was some weird kind of fireplace - perhaps the type you used to find in kitchens to cook food in. But actually, a stall makes much more sense! I think the smallness of it precluded that idea from popping into my head.
I thought we accidentally got a Friends build since there was a green wreath with a red flower. This build is okay, nothing really stands out too much, but still better then the crazy animal hybrids.
I don't know, I kind of miss the zombie mutant penguin-owls.
