I'm most excited for the Imperial Patrol Battle Pack, Yoda's Hut, and Luke's Landspeeder.
Maybe the Jedi and Clone trooper BP...
Most of those look pretty good. Especially the battle packs. Not a fan of the Falcon though.
These are so cool! I really like the remake of Yoda’s hut, we need more oldies remade!
$70 for a 520-piece normal TIE Fighter?! That's a terrible price, and for that much I won't buy it.
That speeder looks excellent, though. If the movie's any good I might buy that one.
That TIE Fighter is ridiculously overpriced. The battle packs look good, but there's nothing too special here... =(
So
Much
Want!!!
Definitely picking up the TIE Fighter, Yoda's hut, and the battle packs.
Might skip everything else.
might cash in some VIP points and get that TIE fighter. don't have one of those yet. thought about the imperial battle pack, but yet another stormtrooper design? ugh no (yeah not a fan of the other new 'trooper in the TIE fighter set either)
Is that a female Imperial Navy figure in the Patrol BP? May get more than one if it is
Disappointing, I was hoping for Yoda's hut to be complete (fold out) as opposed to just half of it. I doubt I'll pick up the Falcon on TIE
Ever since the leaks, I have liked the look of the speeders in the Han Solo theme. Gives me an "American Graffiti: IN SPACE!!!" vibe and has me hoping we get some cool street racing scenes.
Man you guys remember that scene in Empire with the carrot?!?
I don’t think “pivotal” is too strong a word. I’m so glad we can recreate that in LEGO now.
These sets, IMO, are far more inspired than the winter wave. Again, it’s not LEGO’s fault... it’s the weak source material: The Last Jedi. Just as Rogue One sets were superior to most of The Force Awakens as well. Is it just I, who feels that prequel / sequel trilogy sets are...bbbbboring? While I collect every SW mini-figure (regardless of film), looking through my collection, I have so few sets that aren’t from Rebels, Rogue One, Episodes IV-VI and soon to include all from Solo. Sets outside of this Middle time period, that I do own, are basically just pre/post versions of X-Wings, Walkers, Star Destroyers & Tie Fighters. The rest are just not as exciting, especially the playsets vs. ships. Maybe it’s just my preference... I do question why LEGO has so many Prequel / The Clone Wars sets this year when Rebels is closing on a high and it’s likely we’ll never see this theme again. Odd...
$70 for a TIE fighter...wow. Everything else looks cool though! Curious about the new stormtroopers in the battle pack.
@Somnium the Infinity War sets have already been released, images Hagen been on LEGO's website for weeks.
@Somnium Like Brikkyy13 says, they've been out since like early February or so. Check out my link and go through my photostream if you want to see all of the higher res pics of the Infinity Wars kits..

So looking forward to picking up that sweet lookin' Han Solo Landspeeder. You can take off the hood, remove the engine, etc. Yoda's Hut and that Imperial Battle Pack are a must!
Sets 75215 and 75217 were rumoured to be the Resistance Transport Ship and V-19 Torrent, but they've now been tagged as 'Solo' sets as well. Is this a mistake or have the other two sets been cancelled/delayed? Any updates on them?
Very disappointed with the price of the TIE fighter. On the bright side, at least the minifigs are not all generic like the Special Forces First Order TIE fighter.
I'm a SW collectioner. But even though I'm growing fed up with another MF, even white and before Han's modifications, another Tie far too expensive (even if I admit it's beautiful)... As quoted in other comments I wait for new editions of long and most expected sets. But Lego has to follow SW actuality and this new waves sticks to the new movie... If Lego wants a better financial result this year then they have to design sets for new SW fans. A new generation. Maybe I'm close to the end of what I wanted to gather when I started collecting... But for Yoda's hut, I guess it's the second time I won't purchase a single box of a released range of new sets. A bit repetitive and boring in my opinion. New Stormtroopers, new heroes and characters again, new vehicles, but no interest renewed for me.
I want an OT TIE, but not at that price... that will be a waiting for 20% off at the department store set.
Besides spending an arm and a leg on the UCS MF (which I expected to buy last year) not a lot has taken my fancy with the announced/leaked sets so far for this year.
Snoke’s Throne Room and OT X-Wing coming out later this year are on my interest list but again look very overpriced (and in the case of Snoke’s throne room only 2 rather than say 4 Praetorian guards is incredibly disappointing).
..... hoping for a UCS Star Destroyer
Ooh, that landspeeder! The colour & the shape...
Just replace Han with his slightly-older-self for the full Blade Runner look!
I absolutely love the new Imperial battle pack. The new troopers are very remiscient of the old Evo Troopers from Force Unleashed; for once, the vehicle actually looks fantastic and resembles the movie source-material; and for the first time, we have a traditional Imperial fleet officer in a battle pack!
I'm buying 4 of these at minimum. Maybe even 8.
Happy to see that Yoda has his flute printed on torso back again.
The Solo sets look great! I don't understand why people are complaining about the price of the TIE Fighter though. Both the TIE Striker and FO TIE had similar part counts for the same price.
I quite like the Falcon, though why is the cockpit grey? Think they could have recast it in white to match the rest of the ship.
Agree here that the TIE's overpriced... seriously, with its financial problems, they really need to start looking at their pricing policies.
tan chair pieces are great!
The only one I will buy from this wave is the Jedi battle pack, mainly because of the Ki-Adi-Mundi minifig. From other sets I will buy some loose minifigs, like imperial officer, Luke Skywalker, and maybe Lando
The rest Im not interested in. TIE fighter looks good, but I have 3 of 9492 TIE Fighter (and bought them for around $35-40), I don't need a 4th TIE
I like the lopsided, asymmetrical look of Hans speeder, and an imperial speeder that isn’t the same “bike with bars” design of all the others, but I can take or leave the new stormtroopers. Just more reskins, give us an actual new design like the shoretroopers
Interested to see the UK prices on these, especially the TIE and falcon. I do think this is a strong wave - the sets from the stand alone films seem to be much more varied and interesting than the saga sets. I'll probably wait to see what May the fourth offers pop up before commitung to the larger sets... any news on this year's minifigure?
For a second I thought the Stormtrooper from the TIE Fighter set was a young Captain Phasma or her predecessor.
The best set is Han's speeder hands down.
I'm also quite interested to see what the Australian price ends up, for these. I'm sure it'll be something totally absurd.
I want to get that TIE fighter but not for £70
I'm glad they are producing an OT era TIE at last its been so long! I would like to get two, but certainly cant warrant it at that cost. Its also really nice to see an Imperial officer in a set that is less than £30!
I am glad for another PT TIE but the cost is high, I am glad that the pro Empire feeling in these sets is great. That Imperial Patrol Sleeder is going to be added (x2) along with the Tie arounf the time of April.
Nice sets (although overpriced as always for SW line in Europe) except for that-ugly-white-MF. Hey, let's make a pink one next time... Disney is trying really hard to ruin the SW saga for me.
I am also waiting to see the "hound master's speeder plus puppies" or whatever that elusive leaked set was called. That hounds are cute
Wow. These are... not great. Huh. Well, my budget's happy at least.
Will definitely pick up the battle packs, yoda's hut and the speeder (looks awesome!) at 20% off. I would really like a TIE, but that price.... It looks very nice though. Will see how many parts I already have.... Falcon is a pass.
Millennium falcon. want want.
Yoda's hut is a must buy for me. If the Tie fighter came with OT characters I would be far more excited.
What's with the new trooper design for every single movie?
Oh, that landspeeder looks cool. That style and the color scheme ... yes. Very slick.
Overall I'd rate this wave as 50/50. The Jedi and Clone Troopers Battle Pack will probably be a pass, as I already have at least two (seems like more) Barriss Offee's, and a Ki-Adi-Mundi, and over 100 clone troopers. The new speeder bike in Imperial Patrol Battle Pack is awesome, so I'll end up picking that up. The new Stormtroopers look good and all, but as others have said, another type of Stormtrooper to collect!? Ugh, darn you Disney. Anyways, Yoda's Hut looks ok, yet smaller than I thought it would be. I have the original from the set w/it and Luke's X-Wing, and I don't see much improvement. In fact, the other set was better in how it could fold together to make a complete hut and unfold for play... the minifigures look great though. Han's Landspeeder looks fresh and love the dark blue color, so will pick it up at some point. Sign me up for the OT TIE Figher, can never have enough of those, especially since my fleet of X-Wings have to fight something... but I'll wait for a 20.00 discount (it shouldn't be more than 60.00 full retail to begin with). The new/old/original MF, well count me out. Way overpriced, those gaps are awful, and I really don't need another MF (unless it's enourmous w/thousands of pieces and a full interior). I'm hoping there will be a few of those cool dude Lando's on the aftermarket for less than the cost of a gas mine.
I, ll take Solo,s land speeder please lego..
Obi wans was better from a new hope but this will do me fine,
I also like the Tie fighter although it's about £30 overpriced, And buildable Darth Maul looks cool..
I was excited for the kessel Run millennium falcon but I'm afraid it's not quite CARLING for me, 6/10 for that one, the original is better by Miles..
Ugh, another tie fighter... At this point 60 is way too much to get me interested in a tie fighter...
Han Solo's Landspeeder is awesome!
any news on the ucs?
Yoda's hut 1x2 brick with axle hole suggests a future expansion!
With respect to pricing nowadays, for sets like the Tie Fighter you’ve got to allow for buying at 25-30% off at Amazon, then factor in say, £5 for each minifig and then decide if the vehicle is worth the remaining amount. Using the Kylo Ren sets as an example, the remaining price is still too high (for an often mediocre vehicle) and a minifig collector such as I tends towards the secondary market (Bricklink).
Also the landspeeder looks great but is let down by the clumsy windscreen part. Maybe an assemblage of trans clear flag parts would be more subtle? Trapezoidal ones at the edges and square in the centre. We got the trans clear trapezoidal flags in a recent battle pack so would only need a recolour of the square.
Well, it's SW LEGO, so I want them all! I definitely need several of the Jedi/clone troopers pack- I want more plain phase 1 clone troopers, and I don't mind extra Jedi. I think the little flyers could be hung under the wings of the Republic Gunship to supplement the speeder bike.
Man, I own 2012's TIE Fighter and I looked at this and thought, no problem, I already got one. But then I looked at them side by side...
All of them
The TIE-Fighter Looks awesome, but i don't see Woody Harrelson in that Tobias Beckett Minifig at all. Yoda's Hut also is a must-have.
I still plan on getting Yoda's hut, but it's bizarre and annoying that it costs $5 more than the Darth Vader Transformation set, which is a similar sort of build, and has more minifigures and pieces.
The Imperial speeder looks nice, but it's another battle pack with unmemorable new trooper designs instead of modern Stormtroopers.
Imperial battle pack is a buy for me, maybe the speeder but nothing much else. Would have been nice to get a TIE variant like the one in the trailer.
Last Jedi what’s missing?
These look meh... maybe Yoda's Hut. Still waiting for new HP images... anyone know when those will be out?
@BuffaloDelorean - on that subject: the price for Yoda's Hut might be right if it included a Darth Vader too!
@nate-dog7, creating new trooper variants is a staple of Star Wars. The handful of OT variants have long been expanded upon in comics and video games, and by all accounts many of the creatives now working on Star Wars are fans of the old Legends material. And of course, there’s the merchandising appeal of creating new designs...
Anyone else struck by the “Imperial” modifier on the TIE? I suppose it’s meant to differentiate from the First Order version, but it seems unnecessary as this is the original. Are they going to add “Rebellion” to any future OT A and X-Wing releases to differentiate from the Resistance versions?
@Spazman - We will be publishing our 'What's Missing?' article for The Last Jedi after the June sets have been released.
Hello guys. I admit, this wave actually seems very decent to me. The imperial trooper battle pack has great figures and a pretty decent build for once. Han Solo's speeder looks great, having a nice dark blue color scheme, two great figures and a nice price point. The Tie Fighter also looks pretty good to me, as I have never owned a Lego Tie Fighter. Plus, it is one from the Orig Trig (Yes I know I sound weird). It also has some pretty good figures as well. I'm not certain about the falcon, but I think it looks alright. Yoda's hut is kind of a letdown (except for the figures) and the Jedi and Clone battle pack is meh to me.
The price of the Kessel Run Falcon in comparison to the Force Awakens Falcon baffles me, that's potentially £150 for a set that isn't too dissimilar from one that cost £130 only a couple of years ago.
Otherwise things are looking strong and I look forward to seeing the other speeder at the likely £40 or £50 price point - hopefully the former.
@CapnRex
Re what’s missing, can it also include from the actual sets themselves , ie
The top of the AT-ST in 75201 ??
At least 2 (or 6 if we are a little greedy) Praetorian Guards in 75216.
With Rebels recently having a great finish I hope (probably in vain) that we will get another Ghost.
Such a shame in the timing of that set before the show really got into its stride.
The TIE Fighter.
Time to budget for that TIE the imp bp and Yoda's hut.
The trend towards totally overpriced SW sets continues.
Good thing is, as soon as sets are overpriced, they don't sell, they get heavily discounted, then they sell. Will get that TIE fighter, and I am sure I won't have to pay more than 40 Euro for it. That's a fair price.
Like the landspeeder and Yoda's hut as well, don't care for the new MF though. Ugly colour scheme imho, overpriced as well, and generally not attractive to my eyes.
Wonder why Moloch's Landspeeder wasn't revealed.
The sets this year are tremendously expensive - very SAD!
How is it possible to get so many variations on the Tie-Fighter, and still not get an Intercepter or Bomber? In the 2014 wave we got a Tie-Defender for heaven's sake, and that was before Rebels made famous to the general fan.
^ TIE Defender? Do you mean the 2015 TIE Advanced Prototype?
Mimban, hmm... a certain crystal was there...
Hmmm. I like the new(er) Falcon. Not sure how I feel about the 170 price tag on it.
Still no Sidon Ithano. :(
