Official pictures of Batman and Superman BrickHeadz
Posted by Huw,
I know how much you all love news and articles about BrickHeadz so I thought I'd let you know that a Russian certified store website has published official images of 41610 Tactical Batman & Superman which you can view after the break.
Thanks to Arle 17 for the news

Again great models!!! Can't wait to get my hands on these
Superman is best. And again it's like lego in old days... No clips, no joints, no technic... Just build.
Ah well, we all knew, deep down, that the lull couldn't last.
Torn between brickheadzet.com and bricksetheadz.com.
@coenstegeman - It's almost May! Hopefully these wil be released on the same date.
Superman should have a weird-looking face to reflect the removed mustache, I'm sure a designer tried this as a joke at one point but I want to see what they came up with.
Also, the number of BrickHeadz sets that keep being revealed is ridiculous, I'm not sure if these are actually selling well or not but I don't know how long this theme will last.
Me likee!
Strange that this releases after Doc and Marty, but the number is earlier. Odd..
These Brickheadz releases are all weird.
What exactly is it that you guys find to like in these things? They're all virtually the same with a different hairstyle. They're the least creative releases from Lego in decades.
@PicnicBasketSam based on my observations having worked at a Lego store until just last week, they really don't sell that well. I was there four years so have seen the dawn and sunset of Nexo Knights, DC Superhero Girls, Fusion (remember that one??), Dimensions, Mixels, among others. The Brickheadz tend to be popular upon immediate release and then wane, but the now second-most recent wave of DC BH (Flash, WW, Cyborg, Aquaman) tended to sit on the shelf in the back for quite some time. I don't think I'd stock more than 3 of each over the course of a shift. If I had to hazard a guess, it would be that Lego makes a ton of these because they are easy to make. The core for most models is basically the same, so as @aleydita said, all they have to do is change the hairstyle and some details and you have a new Brickheadz. I suppose part of the allure is that all parts are printed, so you don't have to deal with stickers. If it came between having a shelf full of Brickheadz vs. using that same shelf for my Super Star Destroyer, I'm picking the Executor every. single. time. The only Brickheadz I have are the two Iron Man ones, and only then because since I have all the Iron Man minifigures except the obscenely overpriced 2012 NYCC exclusive, I figured I might as well get the Brickheadz too.
I will say that they are great pocket money toys, but can't tell you how many customers said something along the lines of "what's the point? You can't really play with it" and I can't disagree. They also don't have much rebuild value. Since so many of the parts are 1xN tiles for hair or baby bows, they're pieces that you need a LOT of to do anything substantial with. If you're looking for a good quick source of the 1 x 2 x 1 and 2/3 brick with 4 studs on the side, which admittedly is a great piece, then sure, go for em. Can't tell you how many people took that $9.99 and spent it on a City starter set instead.
TL;DR I don't get them either and in my experience they don't sell as fast as you might think.
Thanks for that perspective on them. LEGO does seem to be flooding the market with them this year, but I guess if they don't sell well, as you suggest, then they'll scale back or discontinue them next year. We'll have to wait and see...
I know lots of people who couldn't care less about LEGO in general but are crazy about BrickHeadz and want to collect them all. I collect LEGO and I like the BrickHeadz theme a lot, but only those that have some meaning or interest to me, not all of them (for example, I ignored the TLNM, TFA, PotC ones). And I don't see them collecting dust on shelves like some state, but they also don't exist by the hundreds.
I believe LEGO is targeting these for non-LEGO buyers, with great success.
I think the people who like BrickHeadz, including myself, are going to want these so they can have the full Justice League in Brickheadz form.
I've never like them before, but I might go for thanos and for luke/yoda later this summer.
@Huw was my comment deleted? I apologize if I broke any brickset rules for discussion.
Those NEXO Knights shields for Batman's ears are too cute! I wasn't originally planning on getting the Justice Leauge BrickHeadz, but when the rumors of this set started floating about I decided to, and from these official images I'm happy I did.
^^ not by me...
I'll probably get one or two of the 'go brickhead me' sets and make some of the ones they have released. Some have interesting builds, but they don't appeal to me as a collectors nor play item.
Once more I'm not a BH collectioner but those two look very good - again. I must say that my opinion about BH has changed a lot, in a positive way, since I received set 41597 Go Brick me, and built a few of random figures with my daughter. We really have fun with it! They are cute - and I now look at official ones with a more positive and comprehensive opinion. Batman is very nice. If they don't sale so good why then is Lego creating so many of them? Maybe because they are not so long and expensive to create knowing that the base is always the same and they just have to design (hmm just reproduce) the external aspect of each character... As mentioned in other articles and comments : a bit of laziness and a good, fast and cheap way to make money?
Huw I like your sense of humor and the way you introduced this new release :)
