Minnie BrickHeadz now available in Canada
Posted by Huw,
While we patiently wait for LEGO to officially reveal the Mickey and Minnie BrickHeadz we can bring you this picture of the latter, which was found in a Toys R Us (remember them?) in Canada by Brickset member dRevan.
Update: Mickey has been found in an eBay auction, so you can now see a picture of him as well after the break. Thanks to CM4Sci for the news.

I thought toys r us was dead?
13 bucks?
^^ Not in Canada.
^ Canadian bucks.
You can't have Minnie without Mickey!!!
Not into brickheads, but it's sure these will be HIGHLY collectable cause of the Disney connection!!!
Looks cool..
Really miss toys r us in the U. K:
Yes, The Flash! Definitely!
That is ugly.
Minnie and Mickey both look really good IMO. Two of the better ones.
TRU is still alive in Canada. For better or worse.
This would look good with a cockpit in the head and Minnie minifigure driving it like a mini mech
I see there are printed 1x3 double inverted slopes (like Voltron) and 2x2 faceted roof tiles (that's new, I think). I wonder whether you could make a good-looking polka-dotted spaceship?
Still wondering how brickheadz can be bought...
Cute. As long and much as BH can be... Hard to match the original design which is almost entirely based on circles.
Kind of good but kind of terrifying at the same time.
Seriously, I feel like half of the news on this site are about brickheadz.
it starts by 1 article for the sneek peak
then an article about the official release
then an article to say that you can buy it in store
then a set review
and this is for each brickheadz since Lego cannot release all of them together.
Sorry for the rant but these sets do nothing to me
@Speed champions fan Only in the US.
That's not a Minnie BrickHead. It's a regular sized BrickHead.
@trigger_
And the UK, thus my comment.
And here we have the second example of a printed 1x3 double inverted slope. I'm guessing that Voltron only got its printed mouth because they'd already built the machine to print these bows for Minnie. :)
@kinggregus, I'll make no apologies for the coverage of BrickHeadz here. We like them.
These aren’t bad, but they’re long in the face and the square design doesn’t reflect the roundness very well.
@Huw, important email sent.
@Jackthenipper: Made me laugh out loud. Subtle but very funny comment.
@Huw: The Brickheadz coverage is tip-top...Here’s to hoping the line goes deep and lasts a long while. I love the ease of how they go together, the language of the designs. They’re great sets for a quick build and look great all lined up together.
Hmmm...now I need a good semi-permanent display option...
I can't decide if I find these creepy or cute. They look like clockwork robots!
Proof that Mickey is in fact Palpatine in disguise - or the other way around. These are really good by Brickheadz standards - I feel characters that are already cartoons somehow work better in the format, but the degree of detail is fantastic. Usually, the focus is in the detailed hair of female characters but no such concern here. Clever use of parts in Minnie's bow too.
I don't mind brickheadz. I just don't really follow the licenses they stick to with most of them. So i don't really see any i want. Except for maybe the ninjago or the seasonal ones.
Added to the must-have list!
Canadian Toys-R-Us better be ready for the swarm of Americans headed to their stores to buy all the exclusives. My friend had someone on vacation in Montreal buy him some Toys-R-Us Exclusive Funko Pops.
^The sets will likely be exclusive to another store in the states. Speed Champions was a TRU exclusive, but is now a general retail theme.
I love these! I feel like the shoes look out of place though. They should’ve used a regular jumper or just a 1x1 plate.
If only they would do characters from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Wow the Flash looks very different in Canada
One thing I find insane, and this is somewhat off-topic, is that Nintendo decided to work with K’Nex instead of LEGO. Can you imagine all the awesome Nintendo BrickHeadz we’d have if they’d made the right choice!?
Yes, continue to rub in the fact that TRU is dead in the US.
Just posted a video about these sets on my YouTube channel... go check it out, my name is CamelBricks
I think these are really cute, but Star Wars and Harry Potter sets (and Wonder woman) brickheadz are enough for me to collect ! :)
Just Picked up my pair of Mickey and Minnie at Toys R Us Canada (The Canadian operation of Toys R Us was purchased by a Canadian investment Firm and all Stores are Still operating)
Also spotted at Canberra airport, though at airport prices.
I wonder whether these will be available at TRU Germany (as long as that still exists).
Still don't like BrickHeadz in general, but these two will make for nice parts packs, as well as looking kind of nice - for a BH that is.
I was actually able to find these at Barnes and Noble here in the U.S. for anyone that is interested.
