Another Christmas set comes to light
Posted by Huw,
A hitherto unknown set, 40434 Reindeer, has been revealed in the Christmas catalogue that's just been delivered to households in the UK. However, don't get too excited because it's just a re-release of a 2016 polybag, 30474 Reindeer.
It will be available as a gift with purchase (GWP) from next Monday, 4th November, until the 17th, with purchases over £35.
The catalogue also reveals that 853907 LEGO Toy Soldier Ornament will be available to purchase for £6.99, probably from 1st November.

Since there should be a spare red "cheese wedge" it will be simple to make the reindeer Rudolph
Yikes. That's an ... interesting mix of coloured pieces.
I’m currently at LEGOLAND Windsor, and they have loads of ‘853907 Toy Soldier Ornament’ for sale already.
(I bought one yesterday to keep my ‘bauble’ collection up to date!)
Huh, I thought I've seen it already.
LEGO really needs to just produce a reindeer minifigure. I can't be the only one demanding this. The recent Frozen II set is not what I am after. How many times is LEGO going to release a Christmas themed set with horrific looking brick-built reindeers? There are so many types of animals made in minifigure form and yet no reindeer (If I am mistaken, please point me in the right direction).
@kolaxanthe: Closest we’ve come that I can think of is the new Stag Patronus in the Harry Potter wave from this summer. I was so sure they’d use that mold as an opportunity to introduce an official reindeer this holiday, but seems it won’t be happening. Maybe next year.
The 853907 LEGO Toy Soldier Ornament is already available online, I added one to my order last week!
I got two of these reminders back in 2016 for £2.99 from John Lewis and was quite happy with it, but why re-release it.
Is this the same as one that came out previously?
I’m so dumb...never mind, I read the text. Coffee needs to kick in...DOH!!!
At least this one isn’t a halloween one like the brickheadz version.
I have a whole herd of these already. They were a GWP @ Target a few years back & I snagged a whole bunch on clearance after Christmas when they sold off the leftovers. Saves me from needing to get them as a GWP from Lego next week.
Looks like another free set I'm getting that's going to the "to sell later" pile. At least I don't have to pay to get it haha
