The Razor Crest

©2020 LEGO Group

LEGO has revealed two Star Wars sets just ahead of the New York toy fair.

We've already seen one of them, 75317 The Mandalorian & The Child, thanks to a leak by Amazon.ca last week, but not 75292 The Razor Crest, the spacecraft used by the titular character of The Mandalorian Disney+ TV series.

Fans of the series will be very pleased to hear that it comes with a Minifig-scale version of the un-named character known simply as The Child.

You'll find full details and pictures of the 50-year-old infant after the break.

Both sets will be released in the summer and can be pre-ordered at LEGO.com already.

75317 The Mandalorian & The Child

UK price: £17.99, available on 1st August. Pre-order now.

Build awesome LEGO BrickHeadz versions of the 2 most popular Star Wars: The Mandalorian characters! Strap a blaster rifle to The Mandalorian’s back and put a blaster pistol in this bounty hunter’s hand ready for battle. Create a hoverpram for the Child and adjust its ears for happy and sad expressions. Both construction models come with a baseplate so you can proudly display your creations.

  • Star Wars: The Mandalorian fans and creative kids will love building their own LEGO BrickHeadz versions of the Child and The Mandalorian (75317), recreating authentic details to create a cool display.
  • The Mandalorian buildable LEGO figure has signature weapons – a blaster rifle clipped on the back and a blaster pistol in hand – to spark memories of thrilling Star Wars: The Mandalorian scenes.
  • Youngsters will love the Child building toy with adjustable ears for different expressions, and its hoverpram ‘floating’ on a transparent LEGO element. Both construction models have baseplates for display.
  • This 295-piece LEGO BrickHeadz Star Wars building toy makes an awesome birthday present, holiday gift or anytime surprise for Star Wars: The Mandalorian fans and LEGO builders aged 10 and up.
  • The Mandalorian measures 3” (8cm) tall and the Child and hoverpram building toy measures 3” (8cm) high – they won’t take up too much space but are sure to make a big impression wherever they are displayed.

75292 The Razor Crest

UK price: £119.99, available on 1st September. Pre-order now.

Fly to the outer reaches of the galaxy in The Mandalorian’s armored transport shuttle, The Razor Crest! It’s got everything you need for a mission – a big cargo hold for carbonite bounty, spring-loaded shooters, escape pod… and even a bed to get some rest! When you land, grab the weapons and prepare for battle. Protect the Child and defeat Scout Trooper to prove you are the ultimate warrior!

  • Kids can role-play as heroic warrior The Mandalorian and play out action-packed Star Wars: The Mandalorian scenes with this detailed, LEGO brick model of The Razor Crest (75292) starship.
  • This fun buildable toy includes 4 LEGO minifigures: The Mandalorian, Greef Karga, Scout Trooper and the Child, plus an IG-11 LEGO figure, all with cool weapons to role-play exciting battles.
  • The Razor Crest has a dual LEGO minifigure cockpit, 2 spring-loaded shooters, cargo hold with opening sides/access ramps and carbonite bounty elements inside, sleeping area and detachable escape pod for creative play.
  • This 1,023-piece construction playset offers a challenging build and combines brilliantly with other LEGO Star Wars sets. It makes a super holiday gift or birthday present for boys and girls aged 10+.
  • The Razor Crest dreadnought measures over 5.5” (14cm) high, 15” (38cm) long and 11” (28cm) wide. It makes an eye-catching Star Wars: The Mandalorian display piece when it is not being used to transport vital cargo!

You can find additional photos of these sets from the New York Toy Fair, including the Razor Crest's cockpit interior, on Jedi News.

Let us know what you think of the sets in the comments!

BABY YODA, need I say more.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

Nice.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Woo hoo! Could this be the most adorable minfig of all time? Looks great, but I'm sure everyone is disappointed not to get a Kuill minifig (and I sure had to look up that spelling).

Gravatar
By in United States,

Take my money!

Gravatar
By in Greece,

don't really like the shuttle but the child is really adorable.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

£120 price point seems rather exorbitant :|

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Kinda sad to see they’re not making a Beskar Armour variant for the Mandalorian, but very happy to see the Razor Crest becoming an actual set. Also, pretty happy to see a Child babyfig.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Child figure is miles above and beyond the Baby Groot figure they did a few years back. I was honestly dreading this reveal 'cause of Baby Groot, worried it would be a single element in an odd pose with most of the detail just printed, but it isn't! We got an actual baby figure, complete with dual molding at what looks like a new head mold! And it's super adorable. Probably won't buy the set but I'm going to keep my eye on the second hand market for that guy, 'cause it's fantastic.

Gravatar
By in United States,

$130 and an Amazon exclusive ... Hmm..

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

More stickers..

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'll have to get it...

Gravatar
By in Poland,

I like that ship, especially the windscreen. I'm gonna look for an auction without minifigs tho as they do not interest me.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The ships cool, but I'm not impressed overall. Really doesn't look like a £120 set.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

YES!!! I didn't know this was coming. The Razor Crest isn't as good as a lot of the MOCs I've seen, but it's not bad. Baby Yodes looks great. Bit disappointed not to get a full Beskar armour version of Mando as he does spend most of the season in that armour.
Overall, pretty excited. Probably not a day 1 buy just because it's pretty overpriced, but I'll grab it as soon as it hits a decent discount %.

Gravatar

Greef Karga looks suspiciously like Lando

There is no indication that either of these sets are Amazon exclusives. They'll be available everywhere.

Preordered at lego.com !

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Ok, so add that to my May list and that may be a hint that there may be more sets (Imperial Troop Transport as well Moff Gideon Tie with a great chance to have a lot Imperial Troops to add to our OT dioramas). It's a shame we get no speeder bike and that Mando is the same armor despite the fact that we know he has his jetpack with shiny Beskar armor at this point.

Gravatar
By in United States,

no Kuill tho, too bad. Maybe we'll get some more sets with the jail break crew, and the ex-imperials. Going back to the discussion about battlepacks, the mandalorian would be a great IP to make a large people pack with.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That ship looks amazing. But it’s missing an extra Scout Trooper

Gravatar
By in United States,

One of the freshest looking Star Wars sets in recent memory. Price is a bit high, but it's a must have.

Gravatar
By in Croatia,

I don't like how Baby Yoda looks... The head is too big compared to the torso, and the eyes are incredibly oversized. As for the set itself.... 120 pounds?!?!? Are you kidding me?!?!?!?

Yeah, overall, I'm not impressed with this set. This is just LEGO's attempt to make money off the success of Baby Yoda.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Build looks good as a playset, however, I wish they included the Mando in his full beskar armor. Would have been a definite buy, but since there are no good figures, it'll have to be a pass for me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't collect star wars sets myself (though I've always been a fan of the movies), and even though I haven't seen the show yet this set actually looks pretty cool. Smart to include Baby Yoda, I might have to get this! :)

Gravatar
By in Finland,

Wouldn't buy it if it didn't have baby yoda

It has baby yoda

Darn

Gravatar
By in United States,

You remember the reaction Robin has to the bat cave in The Lego Batman Movie? That’s me right now. I am in pure bliss. I’ll have to wait for a sale, since I’m a brokeHigh schooler, but I have been praying for this set since the show came out so I must get it.

Should I drop £120 on a set based mostly on the smallest component?
No, absolutely not, that would be ridiculous.

Will I drop £120 on a set based mostly on the smallest component?
Bet your Baby Yoda I will...

Gravatar
By in Latvia,

I am so excited for this set, it is gonna be amazing! And BABY YODA!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Yes. For £120, the build looks great but I would have liked to see another minifig (like Kuill) since baby Yoda is mini and droids are.... droids.

Gravatar
By in Venezuela,

So great buy a bit pricey

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It seems that the Mandalorian and Lego are a match made in heaven. Every set I’ve seen from the theme is a winner.

You know a set is appealing when you don’t look at the price, or don’t really care, you simply know you’ll end up purchasing it. Besides, comments on pricing have become so tedious. It is what it is, buy it, don’t buy it, just don’t cry about it.

Back to minifig duty... that scout trooper is cracking, and those other 2 fellas stood next to each other aren’t bad either ;)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Razorcrest is one of the nicest sets I've seen in the Star Wars line for a while.
Just over 1000 pieces (and 4 excellent figs and IG-11) for £120 quid is not a bad price considering some of the recent Star Wars set prices recently, especially as I think this will be a popular set with fans. Definite buy from me.
(Just wish people would stop calling "The Child" Baby Yoda)

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The only part that interests me is The Child so I'll head to the secondary market or wait and see if it appears in a less expensive set later on (sometimes those highly sought after minifigures first appear in a pricey set and eventually make their way to other sets).

Gravatar
By in United States,

“Fans of the series will be very pleased to hear that it comes with a Minifig-scale version of the un-named character known simply as The Child.”

There’s a Scout Trooper called “The Child”?

Gravatar
By in United States,

WOW!!! I need the Razor Crest set (and The Child!) now.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Wow, this one is a beauty. Price is a bit steep but I really like what I'm seeing.
I just wished they'd made a new figure with a full Beskar armor but at least that means I don't have to buy the AT-ST for a single figure ^^

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

I really love those sets, though I have two complaints:
1) We have to wait for a long time!
2) The Razor Crest seems a little expensive, especially when you realize that the inevitable special-for-the-Benelux-TLG tax is applied, making it a 140 euros set!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I actually now want a Razorcrest micro fighter. It could include beskar Mando, and The Child.

Also, does anyone know how big it is in comparison with Minifigure scale?

Gravatar
By in United States,

So glad they’re releasing this!!! Looks awesome!

I only wish an alternate version of The Mandalorian was included, with Beskar armor.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Thsts more like it lego... I love the ship I won't be buying it, but might get baby yoda on brickowl separately.

Show pics of the marvel, dc and hidden side sets now lego!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the ship (I've never seen The Mandalorian show), so I may pick this up at some point if it's on sale.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

100% getting this just finished the show today as I had to find a website I could watch it on and loved it getting the AT-ST on May 4 with Kylo shuttle so next years purchase I think

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Razorcrest looks so cool! Kinda funny they put the scout trooper. Only wish Mando had is beskar armor, and they included Kuil or Moff Gideon.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Razor Crest looks great! I don't tend to buy many Star Wars sets, but I might have to pick this one up!

Gravatar
By in United States,

This & the Build-a-Bear reveal of their stuffed version of "The Child" have made me very happy today.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't care for the brickheadz, but The Razor Crest is a Day 1 purchase for me!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

It's in the database as the Razor Quest. Please fix that.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes! Finally! I've been waiting for them to make a set of the Razor Crest! I'm definately going to pick that one up.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The page for The Razor Crest labels it as the razor quest

Gravatar
By in France,

Preordered, 1s September here in France. But 140 euros for us Frenchies damn... thank you Brickset for tip and link. My daughter is already going nuts with the first and only Child picture revealed :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Fantastic!!!!!!!!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This is the way! :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

@LegoDavid, saying they’re incredibly oversized is an exaggeration. They might not technically be proportional to the rest of his body, but considering his eyes are his most expressive part and adds to his charm, I think they’re just fine.

And of course Lego is trying to capitalize on the success of Baby Yoda. You say that as if they shouldn’t make a set of a character that everyone wants and would be the main selling point of the entire Mandalorian range. Aside from Mando himself, he’s the other main character. And as it stands right now, the most popular character in all of Star Wars at the moment.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I know it's because he's the only bad guy figure in the set, but there's something funny about defeating a single scout trooper to qualify as the ultimate warrior.

Gravatar
By in United States,

When will pictures of the interior of the ship be available?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I really hope the Child is available in a much less expensive set in the near future. Still waiting for Goofy, too. Sorry LEGO, but most kids I know don't have $130 to spend on a set, much less $330 (for 71044).

Gravatar
By in Finland,

Alright I might not get it after seeing it's

160€!!!!!!!!!!!!!

whyyy

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm so glad I preordered the Phoenix Customs Baby Yoda, this one looks kinda bad :P

Gravatar
By in United States,

Now what we need is a Jawa battle pack to help us dismantle it!

Gravatar
By in Austria,

I'm sorry to say this, but the baby looks more creepy than sweet to me...

Gravatar
By in Poland,

i hope we gonna get more star wars sets images

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

BABY YODA!!!!!!!!! :O But The Price.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That's a long wait for a baby. Almost like a real pregnancy!
Seriously though it's like they're asking people to buy knock off fakes of Baby Yoda. They should just sell the figure now. People (like me) might even stretch to paying a fiver.

Gravatar
By in France,

Definitely a must have to me, despite the inaccurate Mando's armor (full beskar one was expected).
The ship is quite good even if it's not as good as some MOCs I've seen so far.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I've been disappointed with LEGO lately, but i love this.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sure hoping there's a polybag or other small set that will eventually include the Baby Yoda figure. I like the set in general but aren't really interested in dropping a lot on a set. As a result, however, I am sure the Baby Yoda will be expensive on the secondary market!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Yes! Baby Yoda does not disappoint in minifigure form. I also like Greef Carga and IG-11. Just a shame we don’t have Quill or the Armourer. But overall the Razor Crest might be one of the year’s best sets.

The price is just my biggest problem.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I was kind of saving my money waiting for a razorcrest. I am not disappointed. But I am expecting this to crash the website and be very hard to get a hold of. This is the way

Gravatar
By in United States,

The shaping of the Razor Crest could be a bit better, but still shut up and take my money LEGO!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

no (hand-held) stud shooters! Unusual for a Star Wars set these days, perhaps they're catering to us AFOLs?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'll be getting the brickheadz at the very least, because this is the way. I'll also probably end up getting the razorcrest at some point too. I have spoken

Gravatar
By in Estonia,

I'm pleased The Child will be available in a regular set, not as a random 1/1000 in a Minifigure series or godt forbid an SDCC exclusive.
Though now I wish LEGO made a special GWP for this - an exclusive polybag for the interconnectable SW characters polybag series with The Child in an actually levitating crib (like a Levitating Pen, the magnets should fit within the base and a special crib element)...

Walmart doest not have a preorder for the Razorcrest. Amazon's link clearly says Amazon Exclusive and on Starwars.com it is listed as available at Amazon and LEGO.

The brickheadz should be available everywhere, but it looks like the Razorcrest is the new Darth Vader Castle.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Also my guess as to why the mando doesn't have his beskar yet is that this set was probably made well in advance of the shows release, and all of the promotional material for the show had the mando in his original armour, so Lego's graphic designers probably didn't have pics of the beskar yet. They might also just not have wanted to make a new minifig...

Anyway, I seriously hope we get a beskar mando eventually, because that would be sick

Gravatar
By in United States,

All of us know we are nitpicking to try and find a reason not to buy this. But most of us will be unable to not buy that innocent legofied baby Yoda.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Razor Crest looks okay but that price point is putting it out of reach for me and many others. I don't mind paying for Lego quality control which is clearly the best in the toy industry but it's getting to the point that 85% of their sets are highly overpriced.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Don’t know anything about the mandalorians.

Not much info on any new UCS sets for this year. I know some people are talking about a long overdue ATAT but I’ll believe it when I see it. Don’t think the Gunship will be for this year-maybe I’m wrong.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I refuse to pre-order this set becuase at that price I want a GWP which everyone knows they won't announce until the day after this becomes available.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Can't wait to let my Jawas ransack this beauty.

Gravatar
By in United States,

preordered (both, hells why not)!

hmm wonder if beskar armor version could be in the 2020 advent calendar . . . .

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Razor Crest looks nice, but holy crap it costs more than last year's Slave I in my country. No, no, no.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Awesome. I will preorder. It is the way.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is pre-ordering something LEGO has done often before?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Beware of the Baby Yoda-punching scout trooper!

Gravatar
By in United States,

At first I thought that the ship was sort of disproportioned, but after watching the show again, it actually looks pretty perfect.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Why did I waste my time making a MOC of it?

Will buy...although my oldest son wants it too. I'll *probably* get it for him for Xmas and then play with/admire it when he's out...

Strangely my youngest son prefers the brickhead Baby Yoda, so that's an easy win.

I think they just put the stud shooters in battle packs, and leave normal blasters for larger sets. Wish they'd include normal ones in ALL sets!

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

After seeing some MOCs, i was expecting more. I know that the budget issue hampered the final result. Even so...

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

I was excited then I saw Mando isn't wearing his beskar armor, which he wears about 70% of the season. Even the Child isn't enough for making me want this. Hopefully a Season 2 WILL have beskar and Baby Yoda in a more affordable set.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I thought I was going to have to buy the ATST again to get the Mando figure but am delighted to get this set hopefully the pre orders will negate the unscrupulous scalpers a tad, and If the rear grey curved piece behind the cockpit is as I suspect new, I predict it will be produced in trans clear as a new Ghost upper cockpit for a new release of that set I love a bit of optimism.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Interesting that they are announcing a product so far in advance of its actual release (or conversely that they are holding the release of products that will clearly be huge hits until September)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Why can’t Aussies preorder it?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I wanted two sets to be announced in released in 2020;

1. The Razor Crest ,
2. A Creator Expert Eiffel Tower (re-release/ updated version)

1 down, 1 to go.

Regarding The Razor Crest I also wish the Mandalorian figure was the updated version with full Beskar armour. (Lego you have time).

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Inclusion of a pouch and a small speeder for the Scout Trooper, cradle build for Baby Yoda and a more posable (rotating torso) version of the IG-11 would make this set complete in my eyes.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is pretty much what I would expect the selection of minifigs to be for a Razor Crest set based on the pilot episode, although I'd substitute the Scout Trooper with either a couple criminal mercenaries or Kuiil. Including the Scout Trooper without his speeder bike is not the way.

Hope that the carbonite bounty elements are new molds with different characters other than the existing Han Solo one.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I’m gonna be the devil’s advocate here, but that ship would turn into a pretty nice Serenity.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@blogzilly:
I can think of at most three instances (and one doesn't really count). I was the only person in my LUG who preordered the first UCS Millennium Falcon. I _think_ they took preorders for the Santa Fe Superchief (at the very least, they did auction off the low production numbers). And after the second UCS Millennium Falcon sold out so quick, they ran a waiting list at each LEGO Store so that people could have a copy locked in to buy before the end of the year. Mostly they just either release stuff on the first of the month, or give VIP members early access for a few weeks. And on day of release, you can't even call in to LEGO Stores and ask them to hold the new stuff.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@HeavyRedSqdn I thought the same exact thing while watching the show! Maybe that's why I like this ship so much...

Gravatar

Awesome! This is going to be a day one buy for me! Looks great.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ok 3 things
1 it’s not to expensive
Last years slave I had 1007 pieces and was $120 the Razor Crest has 1023 pieces and is $130 an comes with baby yoda
2 Why don’t they release it now?
3 I wish I hadn’t bought the AT-ST...

Gravatar
By in Poland,

How they failed to make Yeet CUTE?

Gravatar
By in Spain,

Although I've seen better renditions of the Razorcrest on Instagram, I think it's a must buy for me. Take my money!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh wow, the Razor Crest looks pretty nice! And going by rough estimates of the ship's size in-universe, this model seems to be pretty on-point to minifig scale! Almost certainly a definite buy from me.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Razor Crest looking fantastic!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Guys, clearly they’re saving the full Beskar version (with jet pack) for a Moff Gideon’s TIE Fighter set down the road...hopefully pulling a Lego and sticking in a couple more characters who don’t belong in the scene.

Gravatar
By in United Arab Emirates,

Even though the biker scout could have been replaced with a more interesting fig (Kuil, a bounty hunter/guard, the bounty hunter wannabe, etc) I kind of like his inclusion here.
He could have been improved if he came with a satchel piece to punch though.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Well, I kinda like that set! I'm keen on more detail information and pictures to judge if it is better than "my razorcrest"... ;-) ...and it's funny to see the second scout trooper with updated helmet in a set of that price-category! So my guess is that we have to wait 2 more years to get those troopers in a battlepack! What do you folks think?
about that beskar debate: wasn't his first armour also made out of beskar, but heavily battledamaged? Anyway, it is more than clear that LEGO is counting on the "collectors spirit" of the addicted AFOL scene. They HAD to reuse the first version. (and for sure they anticipated your outcries and smiled about it!!!) We'll get more versions for sure.
And we REALLY need that armourer with an updated helmet!!! And a Kuill.... And for sure a Blurrg... No, two is better! One brickbuilt as a microfighter and one like that good old dewback. This will be the way!!! ;-)

I made a Razorcrest micro fighter using Mando from the AT-ST set. I find it really fun to make micro fighter scaled sets.

LEGO could make a Moff Gideon tie fighter micro fighter to go against it

$150 in America. The set itself looks like a $60 or $70 set. And I think I can just forget this one sitting on a shelf long enough to go on sale. (Sad baby yoda noises)

Gravatar

An unattractive ship with an expensive price.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I just realized something. The yellow markings on the side aren’t yellow, they’re dark tan. Even in the show they’re almost perfectly matched for flame orangish yellow.

And after the second UCS Millennium Falcon sold out so quick, they ran a waiting list at each LEGO Store so that people could have a copy locked in to buy before the end of the year. Mostly they just either release stuff on the first of the month, or give VIP members early access for a few weeks. And on day of release, you can't even call in to LEGO Stores and ask them to hold the new stuff."

Thanks PurpleDave. It struck me as really weird, as in I didn’t remember it being common. Wonder if they think they need to do this to gauge production numbers at the factory level? Perhaps they think this will be an enormously huge seller for them. Color me intrigued...personally I’m torn, I want to get the items, don’t want to NOT get the items, but I DO love buying LEGO at discounts off the RRP wherever I can, KWIM? :)

I like the Razor Crest set!

Why is there no VIP pre-release
Why are there no double points
I know Disney kept this under wraps for good reason, but feels like LEGO marketing has gone numb.

Preorder it in March during Double VIP points month

Only if the baby Yoda's ear in pink inside would be perfect.

It's an $80 set with the usual 50% LSW tax slapped on top of it. Nice ship, though- the perfect size for a kid to swoosh in a battle without being too big to rebuild. I don't watch the show, so I have no idea how accurate it is.

I have no problems with the ship. It should have more figures for a $130 set. I'm glad that it comes with Greef Carga and a scout trooper. Moff Gideon and another scout trooper would have been really great. Kuill and a blurrg would have been great as well. Its a real shame that the Mando is not in his shiny beskar. Its still a great set and I am most likely going to get it.

I think these are both great sets, and demonstrate how the latest movies really sucked.. Doesn't this completely new spacecraft look absolutely stunning? Why did we need more X-Wings and other such crap, when new ideas in the world of Star Wars comes out looking like this? Well done to the team who worked on the TV series, and well done to Lego for making me remember what it's like to see something TRULY NEW created out of their blocks.

"Hope that the carbonite bounty elements are new molds with different characters other than the existing Han Solo one."

Indeed! However, 'carbonite Han' also counted as a minifigure. There is no mention of them as additional minifigures here. There are pictures of some stickered bricks that would represent the carbonite blocks, although I certainly hope that those are not part of the final product. They still haven't shown the supposed escape pod, so fingers crossed for some more value for its price.

I still have to watch my first episode of this series, so I can't judge if the design fits with the original one. But I think it is a little... Odd. Strange proportions. Bulky, yet not really impressive. But that's just my opinion, isn't it?
The Minifigures are neat, still I think 120£ is a little too much. Scrap some 20£ and we'll talk about it.

@blogzilly:
I just ran across another one. The microscale Hogwarts Castle was also available by preorder, apparently. I really don't remember that, though.

@CopperTablet:
I got so sick of the constant whinging about non-existent IP tax that I ran the numbers back in the mid-00's. World City cost more per piece at the time than Star Wars. The only two reasons I've seen for rising prices on Star Wars sets are that, for a time, the US Dollar tanked against the Danish Kroner (resulting in the $400 UCS SSD that probably would have priced at $300 a couple years earlier), and the liberal use of sculpted alien heads that see very little reuse. If there really has been a general bump in prices, I'd think Disney had more of a hand in that than Lucasfilm.

even though I don't collect lego star wars sets I do admit the razors crest looks like a great fun build
food for thought here what if the child is not indeed baby yoda but another male of his species ,

$130 is utterly ridiculous. Lego is getting really insane with these prices. I remember years ago I got my X-Wing model for about $30. Today, the X-Wing is almost $100. You can't blame inflation and citing the part counts misses the point.

The old X-Wing does not look bad. On the surface it looks largely the same. The size is not that different either. They are not only stretching the price per brick, but using multiple bricks where 1 or 2 would do to inflate their prices.

It's insane to me that this ship would be $130 when that's about how much a Star Destroyer cost just a few years ago.

In addition to being overpriced, the set looks as boring as the show, but I'm starting to realize Star Wars just isn't for me anymore.

The set looks good and LEGO did a great job actually putting details we want on the inside of the Razor Crest. I expected the price to be $130 because of the Star Wars inflation. Baby Yoda looks good but could be a bit better. At least there is a figure of him though. Wish Mando had new prints or something.
