Transparent Tooth Tile . . .

Speed Champions MOCs just got a whole lot more interesting!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Me likey!

Gravatar
By in United States,

That is a wonderful parts pack.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That's a neat little build.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

For me, this is below par compared to the 2 previous SW GWP diorama sets...
And a SW May 4th GWP should be one of the best each year.

I'm afraid you'll need to buy a Star Wars Pirate's Bay then. Not sure what that looks like :-P

Or would any purchase qualify?

By in United States,

Too bad they didn't elect to do the Death Star trench run from IV, would have completed a set of three

I would (sadly) assume only Star Wars purchases will get you this GWP. (That was the case for 40362 and 40333 at least).

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Looks amazing but doubt anything that I want will be on offer during the event. Hope the 20th Anniversary Slave One comes in stock and is 20% off cause then I would definitely consider buying that.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I believe the threshold for the UK will be the usual £75

Gravatar
By in United States,

I stand corrected.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Really a bummer that it isn't a scene from Episode IV, as it would have completed the original trilogy in microscale. Maybe they could have done the *first* Death Star trench run instead? Anyway, I'm collecting these, so I'll probably buy some Star Wars stuff I don't really need to get it, but that's LEGO, right?

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

Based on previous years experience can anyone tell me if I can get this with a pre-order (that of course matches the required value) ?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Very cool! Had to do a quick check of Ep.6 to see where the scene came closest to actually occurring!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Nice--I see it must be the year of the A-Wing. I have no problem with this!

Gravatar
By in United States,

This one looks really cool. Personally I like it more than the others

Gravatar
By in United States,

Micro version of 75150. Good thing they're dropping the UCS A-wing May 1st. Done and done. That will bring my A-wing total to 6.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

We are still missing the 3rd 20 Anniversary vignette....

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Does anyone know what the poly bag will be yet? I’m hoping for a Dark Rey with a cool lightsaber...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ughhhh, hate it

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

I love it but come on, why jo Episode 4 things or wait until June for this?

Gravatar
By in Czechia,

Episode IV trench run would be better, but wit UCS A-wing they have to put A-wings everywhere I suppose. But I'll definitelly get this, although I have no idea what I'll buy to get it.

Gravatar
By in France,

Pretty cool

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@Slobrojoe - I doubt there will be an exclusive polybag for May the Fourth this year, given the precedent from 2019.

Gravatar
By in United States,

If I preorder the Razor Crest (due to ship early September), will I get this first or will they hold it till both ship???

Gravatar
By in Germany,

This looks like a good promotion. I just think LEGO should have produced a millennium falcon as an addition to this scene. ;-)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh no, it looks cool!

I've been trying cut back on buying lego this year, for budgetary reasons, but I do like the look of this one...

You have to buy $75 of Star Wars

There haven't been exclusive polybag figures for May the 4th for some time now, unfortunately. Really hoping that they make a comeback soon!

You would get the promo with the Razor Crest, unless you order something else as well like a keychain that the promo would ship with.

Gravatar
By in United States,

At least the parts in this build are quite nice and useful.

Gravatar
By in Iran,

It features my favorite Star Wars spacecraft, the H-Wing.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I really like this. It's definitely better than the Endor one in my opinion. I'm glad I put off pre-ordering the Razorcrest until now, and I can add the 501st troopers set while I'm at it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

If it didn't say it was the Death Star II battle, I wouldn't be able to tell you what this was supposed to be...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This is nice like the Endor one...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I would have preferred a polybag with a character from this last season of clone wars. Seems like an opportunity wasted.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Can I get this directly without paying 75$. I don't want anything from this year's Lego Star Wars lineup so much, to pay 75$ for it.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Looks great! Now I have to take a look at my wish list and pick something to buy.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

So question.... If during a promo (say for instance May 4th) the item you want is in backorder (the Boba Fett Helmet is already on backorder today... shocker)... If you order during the promo period do you still get the promo item when it comes back into stock or are you SOL?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Look very nice. Some really cool pieces and techniques used, as with all of the microscale dioramas. In response to the above comments about getting a flashy new minifgure, it does seem unlikely. Lego still have that weird grey area with what qualifies as an action figure in the eyes of Hasbro (hence why Lego put buildable display stands with the more recent Star Wars minifig polybags to make them a 'set', not just a minifigure)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Not what I was hoping for but will mod it with mini Luke X-Wing in the lead followed by mini Vader TIE Advanced and flanked with two TIE Fighters. Plus mod the terrain too.

501st troopers set isn't available for pre-order. Just says coming August 1st.

Gravatar
By in United States,

To everyone asking if a pre-order will include the Promo when it eventually ships this is what I do. Add a small item like a Keychain, one of the Xtra's polybags, minifig, magnet or a small set to your order. They will ship the GWP right away with whatever is currently in stock. No need to worry if they will hold one back for when your pre-order ships.

I'm pretty sure you can only get this with star wars purchases. But if not, I'd get Pirates bay too.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I wasn’t impressed by the UCS A-wing and considered passing on making a purchase this year for May 4th, but this just sealed the deal.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Another meh promo, another easy pass for me for May the fourth, saving me some money. Thank you LEGO!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I like this a great deal, nice colour palette, i.e. the inclusion of dark red.

What do we reckon, a UK spend of £50 or £75, based on previous years? I'm guessing the latter?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Just checked, it was £75 for the Battle on Hoth May 4th GWP last year, so assume the same ruling will apply in 2020.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The detailing on the Death Star surface is excellent, but the two ships just look a little chubby. I’ll pass. I wasn’t going to get anything at May the 4th except possibly the Razor Crest.

I know the 2016 promo was awful, but could we just get another minifigure? Why not a chrome Captain Phasma, Shirtless Kylo Ren, Nien Nunb Dark Rey or RoS Emperor Palpatine? Heck, why not George Lucas or Kathleen Kennedy?

I miss having the exclusive minifigures for May 4th. Darth Revan was still their best giveaway.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@The_Teenage_Brickster:
I see Luke's Landspeeder and Obi-Wan's Hut, but no Mos Eisley Cantina this year.

@Kamiccolo:
Clearly you are mistaken. That is the Space-Sandspeeder.

@Razzanator234:
I'm not sure that matters as much with giveaways, though it definitely does with retail sets.

@TheWackyWookiee:
If they do Kathleen Kennedy, she gets entombed with Jar-Jar in the base of one of my Moonbase modules.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I miss the exclusive minifigs like Yularen and Hoth Han (which was unique at the time). Those really enticed me to buy Star Wars sets on May the 4th.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

This might be difficult to get with some of the new SW sets being sold out. What are chances of restock by the time this promo starts?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Echoing all the folks, who would rather have gotten a figure, I definitely would have too. Looks like another May 4th to be skipped.

A wasted opportunity to release a figure like Mythrol or a member of the heist crew from the Mandalorian to coincide with the Razor Crest, Cal Kestis or the Inquisitor from Fallen Order, a Clone Wars character like one of Ahsoka's clones, and someone else had a good idea with Dark Rey.

Forget Hasbro and their needs. I'd love to learn the finer workings of that subject. The minfigures with a card and base to build should be a good enough compromise there, but what do I know?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Awesome! Looks really good but in my opinion it would've even been better with an x-wing or even a trench run mini build. But it's still neat.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The A-wing is adorable. But I'll pass.

So many Lego are available that it's easy to be picky.

It was actually MandRproductions that came up with the Dark Rey idea, I just echoed it here

By in Australia,

I think i would rather the set than a minifigure. If i am going to spend an extra $30 to buy the UCS A-Wing on LEGO.com (Would be $300 in Kmart) i would rather get something that feels worth the extra $30. This would also be my first LEGO set purchased on LEGO.com, which is something i have recently wanted to try but didn't due to the extra cost.

Gravatar
By in United States,

the weakest of the 3 vignettes, but i'll get it anyway. will cash in my code for the 3 droids pack and get Vader's castle at the same time.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I just made this using 'Studio 2.0' going off the pictures; how can I share it with everyone?

Gravatar
By in United States,

The shape of the A-wing is really bothering me.

Gravatar

looks rubbish

I could use a chrome commander pyre :P

What codes? I don't use LEGO.com very often so I don't really know much about it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Slobrojoe:
VIP codes. With the new points system, you have to redeem your points before you use them. Denn apparently redeemed points to get a code to buy the GWP droids 3-pack that was based on the large robotics set that came out last year. They recently made it available for VIP points, but I've seen a report that they've sold out, so unless a copy is already reserved by that code, denn may be in for an unpleasant surprise.

Thanks. You really do teach people a lot, with your MOC idea and the rest.

I was very upset that they did nothing for IV. and now theres 2 for ROTJ.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Not a big fan of this one to be honest, the last two were ok but this one doesn't do it for me

Gravatar
By in United States,

Remember when May the 4th giveaways were worth looking forward to? Go back to minifigs!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Kind of dissapointed with it, I always enjoyed the minifigures so I'd prefer them but I'm open to something like this, but this...is just disappointing compared to hoth and endor it's the weakest of the three. What I would have liked would be something like Yoda's hut or Vader Vs. Luke on cloud city for the 40th anniversary for Empire.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Only 2 days left! Looks like it has a fair amount of useful pieces...

Already have my order planned out hope it stacks with the rocket ride I got from the lego masters text messages

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I find the diorama very interesting, resembling the Death Star II.
However, I find the A-wing quite poor compared to previous designs seen on Advent Calednars. Even using interesting new parts the wing tips still need more 'flow' and the rear it's just a dissaster with apparently no work on engines.
About the TIE Interceptor, the wings are just fantastic with the new parts from the Dagger, just like I designed a few months ago. But what about the cockpit? What's that? They have beautiful printed parts for TIE cockpits! It looks ridiculously small for the design, also unaccurate.

I'd say it's a 7/10 but mainly due to the DS surface with greebling.
