Massive sale at Amazon.co.uk
Posted by Huw,
In case you've not seen the latest Amazon.co.uk Bargain Watch alert, Amazon has reduced the price of hundreds of sets, many by 33%, presumably to price match a competitor.
For example the superb 31109 Pirate Ship is now just £60 instead of £90 and many more of this year's set such as Dots, Creator, City, Speed Champions and Ninjago are reduced by 33%, too.
You can view all the offers on our Amazon listing, but remember that Amazon prices are highly volatile so don't hang about!

The 'current discounts on your wanted list' panel on the right hand side of the page alerted me so thank you again for that great addition to the site!
They have price matched Argos. Argos has many other discounted LEGO that Amazon hasn't discounted yet so I would recommend visiting there.
Also, I believe the price watch panel isn't working properly as it's showing the RRP for 75927 as £3499.00 and 75950 £1299.00!
Why can't we get this in the US? Hurts to look at those great prices!

Yes a glitch in the system! the RRP was incorrectly saved a while back which caused this. I've now corrected that so they won't be there once the next import from Amazon has taken place.
Yes I think I should thank you as ive had a right splurge this am, you have saved me money by making me spend it :-) Cant resist a bargain. Thankyou

Didn't there used to be a feed from Argos too, and Smyths too? Are those not possible anymore?
Thanks for the heads-up!
I've been umming & ahhing about that pirate ship but the cost held me back; thanks to this discount, and a really good recent review on here by @mediAFOL, it's set sail from Amazon.
Smyths stopped its affiliate programme some time ago unfortunately.

I need to add a couple of minor downsides to that review, both to balance it out a tad, and also to make sure I apply the same criticisms I made of the Brick Bounty to the Pirate Ship. But they are only minor concerns - as you can tell, I think it is a glorious set.
Worth a check on Argos for these, as you can usually get cashback there, and they have a couple more sets than Amazon - notably the new Llama/Alpaca set 41432.

I save if I don't buy anything :) .

Nice reviews, but try photographing the sets against a plain(er) background, otherwise they get a bit lost.
Wow, great bargain even for us "Southerners". Pirate ship secured. Thank you.
At last the pop up party bus is on sale!
They are price matching Argos, Argos even had the T.Rex Rampage for £165, but has now sold out almost every store unfortunately. A deal that Amazon couldn't price match being it is a Argos and LEGO exclusive.

If I had a plainer background, I would have used it.
I bought 2 ships, the deal is more than fair :)
Beatles For Sale.. so tempting
And what does the U.S. get? Baby zombie and pig 33% off, take it or leave it.

I use sheets of A0 card from Hobbycraft.

The pics were more intended as a "proof that I definitely built it" kind of thing, rather than to show off the sets. The official pics and those in the official Brickset reviews are always going to do that better than I ever could, and they break the text up.

Is it possible to exclude marketplace items from the price watch panel as many items appear cheaper until you add the ridiculous shipping fees?
^ Which set(s) in particular? I'll look into why they are showing because only those with Prime shipping should be.
It’s time to visit the UK!
Privet Drive ordered with a solid 34% discount :)
Love this feature, check it every day. I too would greatly appreciate an option to exclude marketplace sellers. Lately they have increasingly dominated the top discounts, nothing more than scammers IMO with ludicrous postage costs (I'm not a Prime member).

Now all the Marketplace items have gone, but some of them indeed had Prime shipping (e.g. the perennial Party Bus...)
I agree that the too-good-to-be-true Marketplace items that ended up having silly postage when you click through are an absolute pain in the neck. (First-world probs, definitely)
I thinks that's a second Pirate Ship justified... I really like the tavern secondary build.
I wonder if shipping to the US would be low enough to make it worth the discount...

Nice pun :)
Is it possible to filter out Marketplce?
Also, Kylo Ren 41603 on amazon.de is with 100% discount ;-)
