Posted by Huw,
Dutch store Van Der Meulen has also published pictures of four Friends sets that are due for release in June, including this rather cool looking funfair.
Check out the pictures after the break.

Ah, I see in 41679 they have the corner plate with a wood print... that's awesome!
Ooh, nice hotel. I love that they add parts to transform it for the season.
Is anyone else scouring these new sets for more 1x5 plates?
Is it just me or are these just all remakes?
What element was used to create the 2 golden rings? What is it?
Pink kayak! That's very cool cos I have one in real life that is that exact colour.
Also like the curved wood panels.
You can redo rate the hotel for fall and winter? That’s a neat idea for sure, but I wonder how it was chosen to go with the hotel?

It's new.
Are trans pink flames new?
I like the new friends sets a lot! But Van Der Meulen also published pictures of new Lego Duplo sets as well! Why is brickset never reporting about this as well!? ;-) ...also totally missed out on the news regarding the new LEGO Duplo Spaceshuttle! - my little kids will love them.
It's interesting that the girls will have new "default" clothes and Olivia will have new hairstyle in the upcoming Season 4 of the cartoon, but the art at the corner of the non-funfair boxes isn't updated.
Those rings have a bit of a ZNAP vibe to them...
I have no interest in any of these as sets, nor the minidolls, but there look to be a host of interesting parts, sub-builds and animals across these sets.
The multi-season aspect of 41684 Hotel is also a really nice idea.
Strange that there are not more animals in the forest sets.. City forest subtheme next year?! They are usually one year behind Friends :)
That waterfall set is such an oddity to me. Like, it’s so small and doesn’t have any real play features apart from acting as a backdrop or some scenery. It’s something you’d normally only see as a sidebuild in a set where the main focus is something larger, most frequently a vehicle. I guess one could argue that all of the friends shop or salon sets are the same, but those feel a lot more like you’d want to play with them than this small set. I really like it though! I’m still planning on making a big city park someday, and this’ll fit right in!
Oh and that opalescent glittery windscreen piece is gorgeous as always. Glad they’re using it once again!
In the rings of the coaster, are those black 1x5s?

We report on what's likely to be of interest to the majority of our readers. We do of course add the sets to the database so you can keep track of them there https://brickset.com/sets/year-2021/theme-duplo
The hotel will go well next to the other houses, just hope the interior is detailed. Not sure what the funfair is about, seems they couldn't make up their mind between tent, track or turning loop, so have bits of all of them.

Looks a lot like Znap to me.
I'm taking this as hint at the second coming of Znap. We already got one Easter egg this year in Ninjago City Gardens: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=63864pb144
My daughters will love these, the Grand Hotel looks like Emma's house converted into a Mansion!
Bring on the Marvel, Dc and Star wars sets now lego.
Grand hotel looks great, woohoo! And we have a raccoon now?
The Hotel is a copy/paste from the previous one in mye eyes. Hm..
The Treehouse is a must have as usual!
Four Seasons Landscaping!
OOOO my these are wonderful!!! Really excited to see the interesting outfits in the funfair. Will be great i'm sure for some nice minidoll hero mocs!
Love the hotel and waterfall for sure.
Also the Friends animals are getting better over the years, still cartoony but less so.
Friends is usually low priority for sets to collect however for me, compared to something like 3-in-1.
For the longest time since about 2018 I've only collected 3-in-1 Houses and shops (and some City when they offered them), but Friends certainly is a great option when 3-in-1 branches off into a bit more Pirates/Space/Castle subthemes.
These look great! I'm really liking the face prints for the Friends I've seen so far for the funfair.
Looking forward to doing a comparative review of this hotel and the last one.

I'd be really interested in that! Kinda surprised that they are offering a rather similar-looking hotel so soon.
Forest House looks nice and the rascal is cute, but otherwise I'm not particularly pumped for any of those.
The fair set is really good, but the Grand Hotel takes the show. Seems LEGO is putting a ton of effort into Friends these days. If only City could start seeing these. Great Vehicles was great, but LEGO really messed up by letting 4+ go into all the themes instead of staying by itself. When we do get a non police/fire building, they always waste parts and minifigs on police/fire related play features, vehicles, and figures.
Why Friends have more sets with rails than City?
Is Ava related to Mia's family or something? This is her second appearance, and now she's hanging out with Mia and her mother. Has Ava appeared in Girls on a Mission yet?
I love the striped track, reminds me of exactly what I used to do in RollerCoaster Tycoon.
Anything else I wanted to say of the other sets has already been said here, so I won't rehash them all.
The Magical Funfair Rollercoaster is a must have for my Friends theme park. Also want the hot pink kayak & raccoon.
Ninjago! Ninjago!
I want the Funfair.
You know, as a Male TFOL who grew up with the mentality that Friends were 'gross' because it's a girl theme I honestly like the waterfall. I wish they would transition the minidolls to minifigures, but I will definitely buy the waterfall. They need to do that with all the sets. I have several sister's and they aren't attracted to that pink and purple jumble. All these friends sets are interested ideas, but I'm not buying them because they are girly. I assume that's what they are going for, but I wish they'd make hotels, non-d2c amusement parks, and treehouses. Not firetrucks and police stations. Friends and City need to become counterparts. I'd start buying friends if that happened. But I'll buy the waterfall. First and only set I'll own if it keeps this way.

I was opposed to Minidolls for a while , until I actually won a LEGO Movie 2 set via some contest (Popup Party Bus) , and got Minidolls in hand for the first time, I actually like them much better now, and got the Hair Salon last year. Initially I thought Minidolls were a lot bigger until I saw them in person.
I suppose the main thing I don't like as much is the limited movement and no compatibility with minifig head/torso/legs beside hairpieces/helms.
Of course I would still prefer minifigs overall, even if that meant more Paradisa style sets, as I also like the Minifig Animals/Horses a lot better then Minidoll ones, and there rarely have been Minifig Horses/cats etc in sets anymore.
OMG, the funfair is soooo cute!!!

I think that it is a new piece!
Meh. The waterfall and house look neat, same with the grand hotel. Not a fan of the coaster, it just looks a bit in your face.
But then again, I don’t collect LEGO Friends, so who am I to judge.
The waterfall is very cute. I tend to be quite picky with Friends sets (and there hasn't been many that have appealed, the last few years), but I'll probably get that one. It's very sweet.
I like the Raccoon in the Forest House. Would prefer Gray over Brown. At least it's not Blue like the Palace Pets Royal Castle.
The hotel is nice, and I like the "seasons" aspect, but I already have the first one,so I won't be too fussed if I miss this one.Besides, the new one doesn't have an elevator.
I like the rabbit-out-of-a-hat sculpture on the funfair, it's pretty cute. I assume the Technic beam sticking out the side of it is to make the rabbit pop up and down.
I'm totally getting 41677 Forest Waterfall as a background build for my LEGO castles display. Too bad there isn't a friar minifigure, else he could be dueling Robin Hood on that log. But a Black Falcon will do.
