Summer Dots revealed: letter tiles at last!

Images of five summer DOTS have been published by the Dutch retailer which include two particularly interesting ones: 41935 Lots of Dots, which contains 1000 1x1 tiles in various shapes and colours for just €20, and 41938 Creative Designer Box which includes letter tiles.

It's going to be so hard to limit myself to getting 1 set of 41938. Not sure I actually need 41935 yet, but I'll have to find out the actual contents before I decide. I just made another DOTS haul yesterday but I guess I can never have enough DOTS in my life.

It seems like a new piece to me.
Those letters need to show up in a smaller set, they're sure to be popular.
An extra dots bag that's mostly letters would be perfect.
Otherwise I think the Bricks and Pieces service will receive a lot of orders.
Yep, gonna need those letter tiles. Not super keen to buy the set though.

I need 41936 for the Vibrant Coral rocket engines. I don't know why I need them, but I know I do!

"Lots of Dots" might be one of the greatest Lego set names ever.
Looks like they're finally doing something like they sent to fan media last year with the DOTS launch (and I did a review on), which is terrific. Can't wait for the letter tiles!

Any idea when this is likely to release?
Who do I need to bribe on the Dots design team to get them to make quarter round tiles in dark tan?
I really want green 1x1 round tiles. Why have they never made these!?
Everyone can like what they want, but Dots are just tiles right? So why does everyone get so excited over them?
Also, letter tiles are almost useless since they are rounded instead of square. (at least for anything I'd ever need them for).

The lots of dots and creative pack look great!! I can only see 35 alphabet tiles in the picture though - does that mean that’s all there are? If so then one box worth isn’t going to be very useful. I do hope these come out in a smaller pack that’s just the letter tiles....

The colors, and the mosaic-like patterns you can make with them. Obviously you need a studded surface to place the tiles on, which is why there are all these accessories with studs, and some of the bigger sets, like the new 41938 here, provide plates and other elements. Same reason why some people like greebling — it's all just grey parts, but you can make cool textures with them.

It's got a new shape of handle, apparently. The one that's been out for a while has a heart-shaped handle.
Why did they have to make them round, and thus nigh-impossible to line up?!
Surely a complete alphabet of letter tiles will appear in the upcoming Ideas typewritter.
Really hope there will be a smaller set with letter tiles. Square ones would be great too.
Anyone have any idea how much 41935 is gonna be? Looks like a great parts pack if it isn't too expensive.

It gives you exactly what it says on the tin - Lots of Dots. No fluff. No extraneous pieces. What a wonderful and simple set.
41935 is definitely gonna be desirable even for people who arent dots fans, opens up a lot of custom signage options like 31118 and 31119

There's one person in the Netherlands who claims to have them for sale. Based on the price being charged, they may be legit.

Sorta new, sorta not. It appears to be the same functional design as the heart-shaped key that was developed for 41925, but which has also been included in other sets as a tile remover.
Looking forward to some kind of tile mosaic app that assumes a box of these are your starting point!
I really wish they put the letter tiles in the presumably cheaper Lots of Dots set. I'm sure it would be a way to help shift multiples of them. As it is I doubt I'd be prepared to pay for the 41938 set just for the letters.
1000 bricks for 20€ is insane no matter the size of the pieces, and tiles are always needed, I'm going to buy 100€ worth of this set.
Interesting the Theme group is 'Girls' in the database. I would never suggest Huwbot has made an error, in which case it seems like an odd 'theme' for Lego to have.
Can we get number tiles too please?!?
