Images of three sets to tie in with the new Disney animation Encanto, which tells the story of Colombian girl Mirabel Madrigal who's the only one in her family without magical powers, have been published at LEGO.com.

They include two book-style sets and the Mirabel's colourful house, and can be viewed after the break.

The film is released at the end of this month and the sets on 1st December.

oh dang, coral masonry bricks!

By in United Kingdom,

Thanks for the heads-up @Huw :)

Those books look pretty good for the target audience (as most of the book sets do), but the colour-scheme on the house is reeeally nice!

As with most new sets these days my first thought is "how could this be re-worked into an extra room in the Ninjago City modulars?". I reckon even I could have a decent go at a MOC with this set

By in Poland,

43202 looks great. There are some Disney sets that I unexpectedly bought: 41164 and 43188. It was fun to modify them, replacing the most garish colours with shades of brown and green.

Full detail images available at lego.com/kids page by searching the set number

By in New Zealand,

I like the technic gear umbrella/antenna thing,

By in Singapore,

Spring yellowish green, coral, teal, both lavenders, Keetorange...

Almost all of my favorite LEGO colors in one set. I don't see a sand green or dark azure anywhere, but.

By in United States,

I'm loving the house set, and the others look really good for what they are, though I don't care for them. Wish we had more regular sets based on the film. Maybe next year!

It's supposed to be a weather vane.

By in Germany,

Love the vibrant colors! And so many elements in new colors! Definitely keeping an eye on these sets!

By in Australia,

The house looks good, but I’m showing very little interest in the film, so it’s probably a no from me.

By in Germany,

Love the house. That colour scheme immediately evokes feelings of Caribbean / Central American styling. I don't think LEGO has ever done that style before?

Gravatar
By in Finland,

That house is pretty nice for what it is, but the books are whatever

By in Australia,

Is that orange 6x3 semicircular tile new? And are there any 1x3 macaroni bricks to go with it?

Gravatar
By in United States,

What the crap lego. Repainting a hamster piece for a capybara. They are nowhere near the same size. Capybara are the size of dogs.

If you look closely, that's two 3x3 1/4 circle tiles.

Is the butterfly a new mould?

By in Germany,

When the girls get Encanto, I want Lightyear sets for us boys!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks like they’ve redesigned the storybook elements to accommodate a locking mechanism. Welcome addition.

By in United States,

Notable selection of recolors for the house, just at a glance I'm spotting coral Masonry bricks, teal door, orange 3x3 tile, and the 1x8 plate with rail in dark red is currently exclusive to the Hidden Side train

By in United States,

That house looks really nice for the price and parts count. With the film, I have to wonder how much inspiration it will take from One Hundred Years of Solitude (though obviously much more optimistic, this being Disney).

By in United Kingdom,

That sofa build looks good.

Anyone know what that black hand-held device with the gold tip is in the bedroom?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ooh new watering can piece! Well i assume its new... i haven't seen it before!

I'm assuming a sewing machine? It looks like it could represent that, but I don't know anything about this story so I don't know if one is used.

By in Netherlands,

Disney what? Never heard of it.
Why is LEGO so close with Disney who merely serves the American continent and/or the English speaking part of the LEGO community???

Gravatar
By in United States,

The colors on these are just fantastic. I think the house will be finding its way to our home for sure.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The house looks nice, but maybe a bit small in size ?

I don't like the corporate behemoth that is Disney either, but to say that they merely serve the English speaking part of the LEGO Community? How come? Disney movies / TV shows etc. are available in Germany as well and surely in the Netherlands also?

Does Lakitu go down chimneys now?

Because they're the number one entertainment content creator in the known universe ?

Disney is "Lego Star Wars" and "Lego Marvel" and of course "Lego Disney". Lego as a company wants to make money, and these themes are printing lots of it. So much, that they can use some of it to fund and experiment with non mainstream stuff.

By in Norway,

Love the house and its vibrant colors! <3

Gravatar
By in United States,

That house set is a work of art, and much better than I expected for the $50 price point. Can't wait to get it!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I could see myself buying the house if I can get it for the right price (depends what the local AU RRP is and how hard it is to find one on discount)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Interesting how the sets come out a little after the movie— I thought about the idea of them doing that, if people have already seen the film than that might boost sales, although at the same time I see why they usually release them before since that’s when the movie is getting hyped up. I’m not a giant Disney Princess fan and I haven’t gotten a single Minidoll set but these will probably do well with the target audience, it’s cool that they’re doing sets off of new Disney films instead of just sequels or existing movies. Pixar should also get that treatment, though, along with typical sets rather than 4+ ones, but I’m sure LEGO has heard our pleads since it’s rumored that Lightyear is getting at least one non-Juniors set. Again, I don’t have much to say about this but it’s cool seeing them make a set with Latin American architecture, some people wanted LEGO to adapt buildings from areas other than North America, Europe, and China, so this does that pretty well.

By in Australia,

Wow, the house is gorgeous. I love the colours.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I might add that I couldn't care less about the source material, I simply find the execution of the house to be great.
One doesn't have to love Disney or any of their products to appreciate a nice and fresh design.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I want the parts from the house.

Of course! Thanks :) Yes that gold stud must represent the often brass-coloured wheel at one end which is manually turned to operate the needle function. It looks pretty great to me now I know what it represents.

By in Poland,

There is new piece there! A WATERING CAN!
Really solid house build!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The house is gorgeous! Great use of color and design. I also love the mini-dolls. Hope there is more to come with this theme

Well, Lakitu's been in pipes before in Super Mario World. Not that much of a stretch.
